Where to start! Had a composite door fitted in January 2020, noticed it lets air in all around the frame despite being supposedly A rated. Had 8 visits from engineers and several no show appointments. 3 replacement seals which made no difference. No one seems to know how to resolve it meanwhile my heating bills are escalating! When I call I'm told I'll get a call back, never do, emails are not replied to. They do not seem to care, just want me to go away as they have my cash. Appalling company. I will be seeking legal advice to recover my money for a door that is not fit for purpose, AVOID this company.

I ve been a customer to Needham for over 20 years and had a lot of widows/ doors over the years. However, their standards have declined dramatically over the last few years. Very disappointed with the work carried out. Called in numerous occasions and spoke to Anthony, who is always stressed out and abrupt. Someone came out to inspect what's required repairing but I have not heard anything since it has been in excess of 4 weeks.

Useless. Poor management team. Engineers that are told to bodge up jobs(bar one) believe me we have seen quite a few. Stuck with a conservatory that still has many problems, one year left of warranty, nine years of problems. We have had an assessor come out that has put all the problems on a report, now they won't call us back, we can't get hold of anyone. We have been told that the engineer that errected the conservatory in the first place did not do a good job. Think twice about using Needham's windows, they talk rubbishand place a load of rubbish in your home.

After contacting Needhams regarding our lifetime guarantee I was told the wording had been changed. The UPVC has failed but apparently that is not covered. Just what you expect with plastic windows !!! Regardless of age what a disgusting approach. Nobody at this firm is interested and even after emailing no reply. Lifetime means just that, if the guarantee has been altered surely people should have been notified. What a shower. Avoid and use a reputable company. ( guarantee no 8785A)

We have just had a conservatory fitted to the rear of our property. I am very pleased with the result! The Salesman, Surveyor, Builder, Installer and Electricians all did a fantastic job. That much so, my neighbour has also ordered one! Everywhere left clean and tidy, punctual and ran smoothly. Would highly recommend.

Had the front of the house done a year ago, and have had the rear done a couple of weeks ago. Everyone asks who did the job, because they look that good. As before, the fitters were courteous, efficient, clean and tidy. It has made a massive difference to the warmth in the house, as they're efficient units, and I have no reservations about recommending this company to others. Thanks again for a great job.

Disgusting customer service from the so called manager! we changed the design from the sales rep visit to the surveyor visit but 1 of the windows was the original design so looks terrible as we asked for 50/50Needhams are passing the buck and saying we signed so we now have to pay more to get the windows we wanted. While fitting was being carried out the measurement was wrong on the bow window so the corners had to be cut off for it to fit in. also while installation was being done and this is extremely important you read this as yourselves and your family are at risk! the surveyor didnt follow the regulations on the window next to the flue so the opening window was actually hitting the flue and the fumes were coming into the house it was by luck we had the boiler serviced the same day and he was turning the gas supply off due to how dangerous it actually was i dread to think what would have happened if we hadn't had the gas service and months down the line we had realized how bad it was. Again the manager wasn't really interested and his comment was well what window was there before? he didn't want to replace the unit he just wanted the fitter to screw the frame in so it can never be opened. This is not acceptable and is now saying we cant have our guarantee unless we pay the arguable amount he says we owe when the company have made so many terrible mistakes. . Antony Brown the "manager" is extremely rude and condescending constantly talking over me and is not willing to sort the window unless we pay extra money which i feel is not fare as it wasn't our mistake so in a telephone conversation it was constantly Bye Bye, bye bye, bye so infuriating to have a manager talk to you in such a disgusting manner. The fitter Mark Kent i find is excellent and has taken great care by not damaging any tiles etc to the property and did all he could to make sure we were happy with his work. So please do not sign anything unless you have gone over the contract with a fine tooth comb. or better still use a different company all together as you value your family and don't want anyone to get carbon monoxide poisoning. Now have daily emails sent via Simon from the needhams office but they are attached with letters from! yes you guessed it the "Manager" saying if i change my review from 1* to 5* he will reconsider £230 and give us the guarantee sorry but i was under the impression a review site is all about being honest in the review so i really cant change my review due to the regulations not being met. . All FACTS
Please do not have this company to fit new windows , we have had them back numerous times ,i.e. Bad fitting whistling noises ,mortar coming out around frames sealant coming away Damp coming in . They have been good at sending out some one to try to rectify the problems ,but it always ends being a bodge job .The problems still remain ,now with one year left on my guarantee the manager tells us that workmanship for fitting is not guaranteed . One very dissatisfied customer,
Re reply from Needhams .We spoke to the manager at Loughborough 2days ago who informed us we were not guaranteed for Horns at the corner of Windows ,we have now a independent reputable fitter who as shown us all the gaps that need foam filling and re silicone and ends of windows where bricks not concrete should have been in the first instance . End of subject we will not be contacting Needhams for them to send someone to come and bodge the job yet again

Great sales pitch, window frames seem to be good quality.
Then I'm afraid it's all bad after that.
Contractors fit them very poorly. Bricks not put back in the wall properly, windows not sealed or screwed in properly, scared & damaged bricks, site left in poor state!
Damaged my cladding so had to be replaced!
They have been back several times to sort the brick work out and using they're words still remains atrocious!
They're business strategy seems to be employ contractors to chuck the windows in. Then send out someone later to put it right!
In my opinion they're fitters seem to have no pride in they're workmanship or just lack the ability & skills required!
Regrettably I cannot recommend this company going on it's low standard of workmanship demonstrated on my property!
I certainly wouldn't have them back!
And as for the response below the rectifications have still not been done!
I've currently got cement stuck to my windows from they're seventh visit to put it right!!

This is the second time that I have used Needhams for a PVC-U door and windows installation. Once again the installer did a good job. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a good job. I hope they don't let me down during my guarantee period.(W86805)

I'm writing on behalf of my parents who had a composite door fitted last year.
They have experienced significant problem with drafts and despite numerous calls, and visits from engineers and inspectors the issue hasn't been rectified.
Next step trading standards
UPDATE 25/02/2020 - thanks for your response - you are correct and have visited again, but the issue of drafts has still not been rectified. On numerous visits your own fitters and inspectors have repeatedly advised that the frame was incorrectly built and fitted, and no amount of adjustment will correct this. It needs a new frame.
We shall be contacting you for you to come back and re-work this until we are fully satisfied.
8th visit from your engineers this week- and problem still not solved. Where is your customer service?
Further update - 16th April 2020
11 visits now and still not rectified. My parents are in complete isolation in lockdown as they are considered vulnerable, and their front door is currently jammed shut. Needhams better hope we don't need access for any emergency services.

Do not use these people. We've waited for the guy for an hour for the valuation of our windows and doors. He didn't show up and did not even bother to call back. Disappointing.

Had a Lean to done by Needhams that covers from our back door to our sheds and we have two doors on either end, absolutely disgusting one side when it rains it’s all coming in under neath the blue bricks we have had countless people out over the time it was put up because this has been happening since it was built in 2018 have now been informed it’s because we didn’t have a floor laid so why were we not informed of this a: when we first started having the problem and b when the sales man came round to give us a quote because we were not, have now been given a quote by yourselfs this year and I believe it’s because you have run out of options what to do and why should we have to fork out money we haven’t got it really should be Needhams sorting this with out any cost to us, would never recommend this company after this.

Had windows fitted last week and encountered a few issues.
Contacted the fitting manager who sent out an inspector that day to discuss issues.
I have had contact with both since and their customer service has been excellent.
They listened to what I had to say and acted promptly.
Less than a week later all sorted!!

Needhams replaced all of my windows in 2015, the quality I would say is very poor. We have had engineers out 2 or 3 times and the quality does not seem good, the windows let in a lot of noise and draft. To top things off when they last sent a engineer out in November 18 they broke my bathroom blind, I emailed Needhams twice as well as leaving two voice mails and I did not get a response. I would not recommend Needhams.

Can't give 0 stars so I have to give 1 but they don't deserve it. Spotted a Needham's chap in The Range in Loughborough this week and enquired about having soffits and guttering replaced on my home. Chap called Phil takes my details and tells me they will call me. I tell him I don't generally answer calls I don't recognise so he tells me they can text to confirm my appointment for 2 days time at 5pm. He tells me my husband needs to be there, I tell he doesn't as he won't be home till late and it will be too dark to see outside. This evening I get a call and decide to answer it. Chap from Needham's confirms my appointment for the following evening at 5pm and tells me my husband needs to be there. I query this as husband gets home after dark. He tells me it has to be a joint decision. I tell him I only want a quote and my husband and I will discuss the quotes when they are all in. I am told that if my husband isn't going to be there, the chap can go elsewhere! So I tell him that is probably a good idea so he hangs up. So, why do I need my husband home to get a quote? What would they suggest if I didn't have a husband? How can they give quotes for outside work in the dark? I have had 2 other quotes and shock! Horror! I was on my own for those.

Just like to say how professional all concerned were when fitting new windows and a patio door in our cottage, Rod came to assess what needed doing and gave me a competitive price,John who surveyed the property and did all the measurements which worked out perfectly.
Also Steve and Ken who did a great job knocking down walls to fit the windows and patio door then finished off cosmetically, no easy fete.
Thanks to all concerned, well done chaps.

We've just had our bay windows replaced by Tony and Alex of Needhams. Extremely professional and friendly, they got the job done really quickly, cleaned up after themselves and took away all the waste afterwards. Absolutely fantastic service and we're very happy with our new windows! We'll definitely use Needhams again when we replace the remaining windows in our home!
