We put our beautiful Barn conversion in Lilleshall on the market in April 2025. Sue, Niamh and the team quickly got to work, took pictures and got it all uploaded on Rightmove. We had a handful of viewings some serious and some timewasters but difficult we understand to filter these out as they could be the one! Sue had a phrase that made us smile when she said some viewers have 'Champagne taste but beer money!' you know the ones that cant really afford it but come for a nose round anyway twice and make lame feedback afterwards about no local school or bus route!! Anyway it took 6 months to sell mainly due to the market we felt but we never changed / reduced our initial asking price as Sue had said from the start that 'its just about finding the right buyer' for our kind of property. Then, as if by magic, we had a solid offer very close to asking price that we accepted. Then the fun started with the legal process and solicitors etc. We had decided from an early stage to sit back and relax and let the process happen but it was quickly apparent that chasing of the solicitors was needed regularly. I've sold a few houses over the years but it does seem like such a disjointed process with very little communication between upstream and downstream parties/solicitors/agents in the early months and then a mad scramble at the end (nearly 6 months to completion) when people were getting frustrated or threatening to pull out. We had contact with our buyers and sellers so were able to leverage this to push things through. We cant blame any single party for this but to us it would make sense to have some kind of online timeline portal that everyone can login to to see where everyone in the chain is at and giving some commitment from buyers, sellers, solicitors and agents. Anyway, rant over Nick Tart did what it said on the tin and sold our Lilleshall property in a timely manner. The Newport guys were always jolly when we popped in the shop so we would recommend them to get your sale completed. Thanks to Sue, Niamh, Ava and Wendy for all your help! Darren & Elaine x

We switched to the Newport branch of Nick Tart and the difference from our previous estate agents was night and day. The team at Newport are attentive, personable and hard working. We really felt like they wanted to sell our house for us, constantly chasing feedback on viewings and potential buyers. I did not have to chase or ask them to do anything as it was always done (can’t say the same for other agents in Newport). When did ring to ask a question or for an update on anything the team were knowledgable and friendly always willing to help. Even right up to moving day the made the whole process that little bit less stressful.

The team at Nick Tart Newport were agents for both our sale and purchase. When we had Sue round to value our property we discussed what we were looking for and she showed us something just outside our search area which was prefect! The selling process had some bumps in the roads but Niamh was fabulous, relieving stress and managing everyone professionally to keep things on track.

We have recently sold our house through Nick Tart Newport, and they also represented the vendors of our new house.
We cannot thank the team enough - Sue was extremely friendly and personable when visiting our house for the initial valuation; we knew that we could trust her straight away, and within several weeks of being on the market we had multiple offers.
Wendy has shown us around several properties over the past 18months and is extremely knowledgable about them; she also really digs down into what you want from a house and was always happy to discuss any upcoming listings which may have been suitable.
Niamh was fantastic; she was always happy to answer any questions, and did so quickly and diligently.
They really helped to take the stress out of selling/moving. Our buyers unfortunately pulled out, meaning we lost the house we were initially going to buy, but within a week we had a new buyer… and shortly after Sue found us a new property off market which we are now in and love.
