The ladies at Nick Tart in Newport went above and beyond in what was a difficult set of circumstances that led to the recent sale of my home. They kept me updated every step of the way, and reassured me when I had any worries. The process of selling can be a stressful process, however I have no doubt at all that they absorbed a lot of that stress and frustration when the buyer and their conveyancer felt like they were doing things to make the process a lot harder than it needed to be. I have subsequently bought my onward purchase through them and that process was straight forward and again they kept me updated. They were very professional from start to finish, would recommend!

Very helpful staff. They were always willing to listen and were very efficient in what they did. They made what was a daunting task of buying a house a virtually stress free experience.

We’re so glad we chose Nick Tart in Ironbridge to help sell our house – they’ve been absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Super efficient, effective, and always helpful, the whole team made the process so much easier than we expected.

Sue, Wendy, and Niamh were simply fantastic from beginning to end. They truly went above and beyond to support us through every step of our home purchase. It often felt like they were living the highs and lows right alongside us — always there with reassurance, guidance, and regular updates. We recently sold our property through Nick Tart Newport while living 5,000 miles away in the United States, and I can honestly say the team, led by Sue, were exceptional from start to finish.

Selling a home from abroad naturally added layers of complexity and emotion, especially as we were simultaneously navigating the purchase of a new home in the US. There were inevitable challenges with conveyancing and a few hiccups in the chain, but throughout it all, the team at Nick Tart demonstrated tremendous professionalism, compassion, and empathy.

They frequently went above and beyond to ensure everything moved forward smoothly, keeping us well informed and reassured despite the distance. They also very patiently put up with my occasional grumpiness, which speaks volumes!

We have had some issues over the pastbwith the property but Rihanna has fought our corner every step of the way..by far one of the most kindest and understanding estate agents ive ever know. They get back to you fairly quick unless its a communication issue with the land lord.

What a refreshing change to deal with Nick Tart Bridgnorth. From the initial viewing right up to the completion day I can only complement on the professional way a complex and rather long chain was handled by Michelle and Bev. Always a calming answer on the other end of a phone call.

We were very unsatisfied with our viewing with Nick Tart. The house we liked however based on how we were treated even if we loved the house we would not proceed with Nick Tart as we were made to feel extremely little by the estate agent who showed us around, Christine.
We were told over the phone the viewing was 2:45, however when we arrived nobody was there, we called the office and we were told it was actually at 1:45. We were asked if we would be happy to wait for an agent to come to the house and we agreed as we understand things happen and we are serious buyers. When Christine arrived she got out of her car, completely ignored us despite us being stood there and went into the house. We waiting outside as we thought she was just preparing the house and as mentioned above she completely ignored our existence on the way in and once inside. After some time she put her head out of the door and very rudely said “are you coming in then?”. Once inside she said “get your times mixed up did you” and we explained we were told the viewing was at 2:45 and showed her we hadn’t received any text message or email. She ignored us after this. She did not engage with us at all throughout the whole viewing and didn’t say a single word to us or even attempt to sell us the house. We were left to go upstairs by ourselves while she waited downstairs making us feel like we couldn’t properly view the home and we felt extremely uncomfortable and rushed. We were in the house for maybe a total of 5 minutes and she said one sentence to us which was very condescending about getting times mixed up. After the viewing I thanked her for taking time out of her day to show us despite the miscommunication and she once again ignored us and locked up and got straight in her car.
We left the viewing absolutely fuming and now we are unwilling to go forward with a property we thought had potential based on this. We were made to feel like dirt on her shoe. Like I say, we are serious buyers and if we weren’t then we wouldn’t have showed up at all, contacted the office to find out what was happening or stay longer to wait for somebody to show us around. We understand it could be frustrating however mistakes happen (and no contact was received) but we believe as a professional you should be able to put this aside. We unfortunately aren’t willing to look at houses with Nick Tart Estate Agents any more based on Christine’s behaviour towards us.
We really could appreciate that miscommunications are frustrating but based on her behaviour alone we felt completely devalued and upset. This woman clearly has a chip on her shoulder and it makes us question how she even got the job in the first place, she is the rudest woman we have ever come across and thanks to her you have lost a couple of serious buyers. AVOID!!!

The Newport team really were very helpful and so professional, would highly recommend them.

I totally agree with all of Helen’s comments.As the purchaser in that process, they all could not have done more to sort out any issues along the way. They always responded quickly and made me feel valued as a client … rare these days !

I can’t recommend Sue, Niamh and Wendy at Nick Tart, Newport enough. I hope I’m now in my forever home, but if I had to move again they would be my only port of call.
To make something look effortless takes a lot of effort, and, as my sale and purchase felt so smooth and so easy, I know they must have been working crazily behind the scenes to manage the process.
They’re an amazing team; dedication mixed with kindness, understanding and good humour. No one could fail to be impressed.
