Terrible customer service and have kept my money. Avoid!!

If I could give a 0 review I would. I purchased 3 T shirts from the Nike website, but they didn’t fit, so I sent them back, but I received a refund for only 1, I contacted them on their online
chat where I was told they had problems scanning all the returns, the customer service agent escalated this to the returns department, I received an email 5 days later stating my refund request cannot be processed, I contacted the page again who told me to respond to the email, but when I tried to respond to the email, I received a message stating it was an unmonitored mailbox, so I phoned customer service, who then told me to contact the help page again, which I did, only to be told to email the unmonitored mailbox and that they do not have an email address for customer services. The service has been appalling for such a big company and they have stolen my money.
My next step is a charge back with the bank, so I can get my money back.
I will not be shopping at Nike again, also I have seen other people have had the same issue.

AVOID!!

Frustration regarding Air Jordan 1 VAA Alaska releaseSubject

Dear Nike Team,
I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment regarding the release of the Air Jordan 1 VAA “Alaska”.
What should have been an exciting launch for loyal customers turned into a complete lack of fairness and transparency. It genuinely feels like customers who have supported your brand for years are being ignored, while most of the stock appears to be backdoored before it ever reaches the public.
I find it difficult to understand the logic behind a Tier 0 release when, in practice, there is no real opportunity for genuine customers to purchase the product. This creates a sense that the system is not only flawed, but also poorly controlled.
It is simply not normal to organize releases exclusively through Tier 0 stores when, in reality, a significant portion of the stock disappears before ever reaching the end consumer. This is not good publicity for a brand as iconic and respected as Nike.
I am someone who genuinely wants to wear the product and appreciate the beauty of the design. However, pairs consistently end up in the hands of resellers, which ultimately destroys the hype and the aura that made these releases special in the first place. At the very least, there should be better control over stock allocation and in-store distribution.
Looking ahead to upcoming releases such as the “Brick after Brick” drops and Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 Lows, it is becoming increasingly clear that regular customers barely stand a chance to purchase these products at retail. Losing a raffle because of high demand and low stock is completely understandable — that is part of the hype. However, not even having a fair chance due to bots or backdoor practices at store level, without any visible control from Nike, is simply unacceptable.
I want to be clear: I do not want Nike to lose its position in the sneaker market. I do not identify with other brands like New Balance, adidas, or designer sneakers. That is precisely why this situation is so frustrating — because it comes from a brand I have supported for years.
I am aware that this message may not reach decision-makers within your company. However, I also know I am far from the only one feeling this way. Many loyal customers are growing increasingly frustrated with these practices, and it is no surprise that competing brands are beginning to gain ground.
Personally, I have owned over 200 pairs of Nike sneakers over the years. While this may seem insignificant from a corporate perspective, it reflects a level of loyalty that is now being tested. Customers like myself are becoming tired of what feels like an unfair and opaque release system.
Finally, it is particularly disappointing to see a release associated with Virgil Abloh handled in this manner. His message was “You can do it too.” Unfortunately, what this release communicates instead is: “You can backdoor it too.”
This launch was, quite frankly, a disgrace, and a clear lack of respect toward the community that has supported your brand for so long.
I sincerely hope Nike takes this feedback into consideration and works toward a more transparent and fair system in the future.
Kind regards,
Jorge Silva e Castro

I returned a pair of trainers back in…

I returned a pair of trainers back in October 2024 in the original box using the barcode provided through In Post.
Nike advised no refund would be issued as the item received by them was ‘A non Nike product’. No further details have ever been given to me regarding what they did receive back just emails stating they would not refund me . I have been trying to get more information on this ever since and Nike have been absolutely APPALLING in responding and assisting with this . Avoid this company at all costs . I have never encountered such poor customer service . I even wrote a complaint letter and this was sent back to me as ‘return to sender’. I will not be paying for an item that I returned back, I fulfilled my obligation as a consumer. If the wrong label was put on the package by the courier ( In Post) that is not my responsibility. It is also defamation of my character that Nike have suggested that I posted anything back other than the original item purchased. This will now be taken to court .

Awful Online Customer Service

For such a world renowned brand they seem to abuse their privilege with customers with such awful online service, other reviews echo this. I originally placed an order on 08/03/2026, one pair of trainers from my order had defects, they were fairly prompt in sending me a replacement pair. The replacement pair however didn't appear box fresh, swoosh had scuffing, leather creased in places. I again sent them back complaining about the overall quality control. Yesterday I got in touch via the web chat service on their website for an update on my order, the service agent said that it was stuck at the warehouse "or something" lol. I said to escalate it as a complaint, since it had been two plus weeks of waiting and no sign of a replacement in sight. For some reason the person was insistent on cancelling my order, in turn meaning I would lose my discount on the item, I said no and questioned them, what made them think they had a say over what a paying customer wants. Shortly after challenging them and the convo ending I got a email saying "Hi ******, we cancelled the order below as you requested.". If this isn't staff firstly proving unhelpful, it's definitely malicious. I then spoke to someone else via their web chat, when I pushed for a reason as to how / why my order was cancelled despite me making it extra clear I still wanted the item they claimed "It seems there is an error with our system and it was automatically cancelled". I'll give the UK number a call tomorrow, needless to say I'm pissed, now causing me even more hassle than the initial exchange issue. I also said I wanted the persons name since they have all my details to hand but they always remain anonymous, unsurprisingly they declined. Pathetic!!!

Avoid Nike with all cost!!

Avoid Nike with all cost!!

I am left without money or products. I ordered online and I instructed the delivery guy the parcel to be left in front porch. He let it outside. After half an hour when I got home my parcel was missing.I contacted Nike straight away, they told me to wait 48 hours and to come back (after I knocked to all my neighbours doors).Obviously the parcel was stolen ,and though i reported straight away with photo and everything, i waited for 48 hours. I called them again thy told
me to wait for 8 days to investigate, and in less than 2 hours i got an email saying the parcel was delivered and no refund (though i wanted the products not money) now i am left without money and parcel because of Nike and DPD. Apparently it’s my fault as customer that i ordered :) and delivery company didn’t respected the instruction: last time when i will order from Nike, online or in person. 3rd world attitude and services . JUST DO IT and avoid this rubbish attitude and service!

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. Ordered a pair of shoes and received the wrong size. I send them back about a month ago and I still haven’t received a refund. I spoke to someone and they have declined the refund it because Nike have received the wrong size even they the sent it wrong in the first place. Either just want a refund or the parcel back because at this point it’s just theft. Poor service Nike, very disappointing

My son bought a full tracksuit set for…

My son bought a full tracksuit set for his birthday. The jacket wasn’t included when delivered Nike said they would refer for a replacement to their senior management team. Therefore my son wore the trouser as we awaited their reply as I explained the outfit was for his birthday and and event. Took over a week for a reply where they stated they wouldn’t be sending out a replacement, I asked for the transcript from the online chat and they said no for their security (never mind my own) I told my son to order from Nike directly to ensure everything was 100% but never again! The customer services were appalling just reiterating the same points and not listening. Refusing to send me transcripts. Utter joke of a company.

Wrong size item

Ordered a pair of trainers, however received the wrong size. Sent back for a refund, still waiting for my refund. Got in touch with Nike chat, was told my refund is taking longer than expected because they received wrong item! Very poor. I’m the one who received the wrong size item in the first place. For such a well known brand, the other reviews I’ve seen seems very poor service

This was one of the worst delivery…

This was one of the worst delivery experiences I’ve ever had. The driver, Mubarak from DPD, was extremely unprofessional and unreliable. I waited the entire time at home for this delivery because it was very important to me, and he simply never showed up.

To make things even worse, he never even knocked on my door or attempted to contact me. Instead, I only received an email later saying that I had to go and collect the parcel from an off-license. This is completely unacceptable.

There was no proper communication, no respect for my time, and no genuine attempt to deliver the package. Because of this failed delivery, I ended up missing an important appointment that I could not reschedule.

If drivers cannot fulfill their responsibilities or communicate properly, they should not be handling deliveries. Very disappointed with the service and the lack of accountability.

Never download the Nike App or joined their membership

I recently had a terrible experience using the Nike website and dealing with their customer service. When I was browsing at the Nike website for a pair of shoes, I found it then add it to my cart I've noticed it automatically gave me 20% off. That was before I sign up and become a member. It described all the perks & special promotional deals you'd get for becoming a member. I figure I'll probably place an order with them soon, might as well sign up.

Then I look Goggle online to see, are there more ways to get Nike discounts? It says when you download the Nike App for the first time buyer/user. You'd get another 15% off APP15
I thought Great! 35% off that's a decent deal. So I downloaded the Nike app. For some reason they demanded your credit card information first without placing an order.

Then I found out after you download the App and get your profile set-up. It immediately erased 20% off promotional deal. I was shocked. Oh No, what happened was the promotion over, did I screw up something ? Then I try the 15% APP15 Nope, it say this code does applied I'm thinking what's going on here!? Then I read something online when you download the Nike App it will immediately erased any promotional deal you might have. So why did it kept asking me to download their App on the website?

So I immediately I uninstalled their Nike app and I try deleting my membership thinking it might give me a 20% deal again. No! You cannot delete your membership information Once you sign on. They have your information until for 5 years inactivity to delete it permanently, again online information. It says on their website, if you delete your membership you cannot undo it. What it should've say, you can never delete your membership. So after you try deleting your membership, when you sign on again with email, It's still available. This really makes me very upset tbh. I went through all this downloading Nike app. Which I always avoid downloading any apps. I vehemently against downloading any apps if I can avoid doing so.

I thought, Ok last resort I'll contact their customer service online chat to see someone can help me. Nope, one with the small chat then they switch to a female agent, Michelle which was the worst. Not being a sexiest but always have terrible experiences dealing with a female customer service agent. At first, this sort of thing happens all the time. You cannot combined two discounts at once. Then She wants me to go ahead and placed an order, then she can adjust the price to 20% off. I replied, it'd be justifiable to give me 35% off. Since downloading the Nike app was highly misleading & troublesome. She kept insisting that I read her replies. I'm using my laptop with the online keyboard. My regular keyboard does not work. I demanded her to give me an 35% off promo code. She says she can only give me 20% off after I pay for full price for the shoes that I wanted. Then she can adjust the price online.

Then she wants me to call the customer service if I wanted a more reliable & reassuring way to get my 20% off discounts. I was feeling very livid & extremely upset by now I didn't want or need talk to anyone on the phone I might say some insulting words that's Not suitable to hear.

So the best thing to do when you're shopping on the Nike website and you see a 20% or more promotional discounts appear on your cart, when you're checking out is to remember.
First, do not download their Nike app and remember once you become a member, you can never delete your Nike membership unless you have 5 years of inactivity. If you want to wait years of Nike website inactivity and see if actually deletes your membership.

Terrible customer service

Returned shoes since they were uncomfortable. Nike refused the return and shipped back the shoes to us saying box was damaged. However when we picked up box from Canada Post, box was not damaged and they are unresponsive to our calls and messages. Terrible customer service. We will never buy Nike again. We bought ON shoes instead and they are great!

Customer service was awful

Customer service was awful. Long story short, I want informed I would receive a discount for my birthday month, a mere 10% off. This didn't take place so I was on customer service trying to explain this. They were not helpful. As I was continuing to ask questions to get clarity they told me to have a nice day and just ended the chat out of the blue. I have never had customer service of any company treat me this way.

Terrible Nikes - should not be sold

I bought a pair of Cosmic Runner trainers at the Deichmann store in Timisoara, Romania. My trainers had fallen apart and I desperately needed a new pair. I was very surprised by how poor the support was in these sports shoes. I walk for miles regularly and I realised very quickly that there was next to no support in these trainers. I could not return them as I was passing through Romania and had left a couple of days later.
I had to buy a new pair of trainers days later as these Nikes provided no support for my body. I actually went to the Nike store in the UK to ask if they were fake. They said they were not fakes.
Back to Asics, the brand that actually supports my walking. A shame I couldn't find them in my size in Timisoara. I'm still shocked at how terrible the Nikes are. What a waste of money! Never again!
