National Maintenance do a lot of…

National Maintenance do a lot of contractor work for Citibase. Overall they provide a high quality service. They take great pride in their work and If there are any issues they take very personally and will rectify with as a matter of emergency.

I would recommend NM as a contractor.

Awful service

Worst experience with these!!
I had a plumber out to fix my broken toilet that wasn't flushing and to replace part of a pipe that had turned green (not the biggest issue but needed doing). So, he arrives and begins by turning off the water and spending 1.5 hours on changing the pipe instead of fixing the toilet which was more important as we couldn't use that while he was there! So then he's halfway through sorting the toilet and I have to leave to collect my children from school and nursery (which he was aware of) he downed his tools and told me he would be back in 30 mins. I rush home and an hour later he doesn't turn up so I ring the office to be told he's gone on another job and won't be back until tomorrow. That would of been fine except my boiler was now not working and he had left all tools on the floor and my toilet in pieces. So they tell him to come back and fix the boiler which he eventually did. Comes back the next day and apparently toilet is fixed but one of my radiators isn't working (main one in front room) and he doesn't know why?! After he's gone I flush the toilet and now it doesn't stop flushing and water is pouring out the handle all over my floor. The pipe that he replaced is bent sticking off the wall. So I call them again to be told someone will be sent out, guy turns up a few days later, me thinking he's fixing it, but no, he's just having a look or doing a quote I don't know he didn't really say much but I asked on the phone would someone need to come out to quote it and was told no they don't. Original plumber arrives the following evening with a new part for the toilet, takes one look and tells me the part is too big, he was told by the previous guy he could get a smaller part but apparently not!! Also then, he decides the radiator needed a new valve (which he had suggested when he looked when it first broke) but the suppliers was now shut so he can't do anything until the following night (Friday). So, I call Friday morning to inform them that my boiler wasn't working again and I won't be home until 6.30pm (plumber was due around 6pm). I rush home with my 2 young children and no plumber turns up and they are now closed for the weekend. So as far as they are aware, I have no heating or hot water, a broken radiator in my main room and a toilet that's leaking all over my floor. I call the office this morning to be told they had left me a voicemail on the wrong number (which they knew was the wrong number and still didn't call my new number that I had given them Friday morning). Luckily, I had the boiler sorted myself over the weekend (whilst I had family visiting from abroad might I add!) And also had the radiator fixed myself! Spoke to a lady in the office this morning who has now arranged for someone to fix the toilet today so hopefully that will get sorted! Complete lack of communication between people in the office and also the plumbers!
If it wasn't being sorted through my letting agency I would avoid this company completely, always having to chase them up, being told they will call you back and don't and they're not bothered that me and my children could have spent the weekend without heating and hot water in the freezing cold weather, not happy at all!!
Edited to add that Ben came this afternoon and fixed all the issues, he was very apologetic even though none of the problems were his fault. Very professional, genuine and thorough, he didn't leave until he had fully checked everything was working properly. Great plumber, thank you very much Ben!

We are very sad and disappointment to see our only 1 star review.
Unfortunately if a customer leaves their property and we are denied access in this period then we have to pull off that job. Im afraid in this case you had one of our new operatives who wasnt aware of this. We did contact the agency to advise them of us leaving the property and that the operative had gone to another job. However he did return that evening to collect his tools as you advised that you were without heating and had children.
Our surveyor has to attend any issues that arent reported to us straight away to review why the problems are occurring and so we can go down the correct route to rectifying the situation.
The additional issues which occurred we have to get permission to work on from the agency/landlord before we can carry these out, unfortunetly we have no say in this.
We do apologise for the mistake in communication of your new number not being passed over in the office and the voicemail being left on your old mobile number as advised we didnt see it appropriate to attend at around 9pm due to a job he was on over running. The office staff member went off the details which had been passed from the agency which had not been updated.
Im glad that everything has now been rectified for you and our sincere apologies again. Ben was told to stay on site to rectify the toilet which had been the main job and to rectify the radiator issues as a good will gesture.
We will pass your compliments on to him and can assure you that the previous plumber has been investigated and dealt with as these arent the standards our company works too.

Great Team!

Great team with quick responses and great staff. pricing is fair too! they've helped me with so many jobs here and there from emergencies to proactive maintenance and I couldn't recommend them enough!

Another productive maintenance visit…

Another productive maintenance visit from Jack. Always on time, hard working and polite. We have a maintenance visit every fortnight from National Maintenance and have high expectations, which they meet. Very good service as always.

Hollie was my email contact

Hollie was my email contact , she was quick to reply to all my questions , and extremely helpful. Rich who came to the property to look at the repair was polite , helpful and honest . I would contact them again should I ever need a repair doing . Exceptional service from this company . Definitely 5 stars .

Great service from national maintenance…

Great service from national maintenance from start to finish. Office staff were very friendly and communication was brilliant. The operatives that attended to my property were professional and friendly. Done a lovely job. I would Deffinetly recommend them and will use them myself again
