In my opinion, Omaha Steaks have gone down hill yet their prices have gone up greatly for cuts I purchased often. My last go around with Bison ribeye's was not very good. The meat was tougher than normal and had way more gristle than all my previous purchases combined. I cook the steaks around medium but most times are closer to medium rare, so it is not being over cooked.

—I paid for upgrades and was ignored
I am beyond irate. Over the last year, I have spent hundreds of dollars per order with this company, but this shipment is a total failure. I spent hours on the site, specifically customizing my order, and, most importantly, I paid for upgrades just to secure the specific, lower-priced cuts my family actually eats.
Despite this, your packagers substituted every single one of the 15+ steaks I ordered with filet mignon. We do not like filet mignon, and even our dogs won't eat it. I am now stuck with nearly $800 worth of meat that is, essentially, waste.
It is pure insanity to ignore a customer's paid-for selections in favor of a "warehouse choice." If an item is not in stock, do not substitute it with something I did not ask for. This is a massive financial loss and a total disappointment. My advice to others is to shop in-store, or avoid this company at all costs; I am currently struggling with whether I can ever trust this brand again.
