EC6 - Had a lovely call from one of their agents this morning, what a great way to start a relationship with a new insurance provider. The girl was perfectly polite and made me feel instantly comfortable. The call was no longer than it needed to be and the call ended with me feeling positive about the choice of company to take over my house insurance.

I have just renewed my home insurance and contents, for the third year. I was pleased with the cost having reviewed the other web sites which you do not see the add ons until you deal with the company. The staff member I dealt with was very knowledgeable and helpful, polite and explained everything clearly.

Call back received with 10-15 minutes. Staff member KP3 was polite, friendly and helpful, explaining what she was doing and ultimately brought price down and benefits up for car insurance renewal.

One-Call has once again provided me with favourable policy renewal terms compared with comparison sites. There was a payment problem due to the fact my credit card provider is changing to a new banking partner. A discussion on Live Chat with Holly H sorted the problem and the renewal is done for another year. I now wish for another insured year without highlights.

Pros, competitive pricing. Polite. Cons, difficult to contact at times, don't trust the automatic renewal switch off. I opted out of this 6 + weeks before renewal and they still renewed and charged me, I was then charged a cancellation fee, claimed they couldn't see I had opted out of auto renew even though I had screen shots showing I had. So be careful.

Time consuming contact via on line chat only. Refuse any attempt at phone calls
Excessive cancellation fees- made up to match any outstanding monies due.
Avoid!
