Only one star because no stars isn't an option. Wow! I'm blown away by the rudeness and sarcasm that I've just been subjected to by a cold caller. How they plan to make any business with their 'sales' techniques is beyond me.

Rude!!…

After receiving a call from Opti choice I was explaining to the gentleman(I use the term lightly) on the phone That I was happy with my health insurance I didn’t get to finish the sentence as he hung up on me – obviously he had someone better to speak to OR someone else to treat as rude as he treated me on the phone. Why would anyone Deal with Optichoice if that’s the way they treat their customers?🖕

Total waste of time and hung up on after 25mins!

Answered a cold call about health insurance. Lady was nice on the phone saying it would be a quick process. Ended up transferring me to a different guy to answer 20+ questions and 25 minutes later they told me I can pay the same and be covered for less. Total waste of time and when I told him that I need to review it with my husband he hung up on me!

When they finally put me through to a consultant it was a rudest man. I ever spoke to thinking you better explain to him that my insurance covered more than when he was offering me and he told me there was nothing more to talk about because he’s been in the business for longer, the most rude bastard I ever met

Harassment

They harrass me with calls everyday!
I'm trying to run a small business and have to answer unknown numbers as it could be a potential customer.
I have asked to stop multiple times and they are often rude about it.

Incorrect information

I received a call from Optichoice yesterday. He said he found a better provider, and that I would save on my premiums from my current provider and get more benefits back. If you had given the correct personal information, I probably wouldn't have bothered but lucky for me I contacted the new provider you recommended to update my information, I also enquired and compared what they offered to what I'm currently covered for with my current provider. You sold me a whole heap of lies, it was nothing compared to what I currently receive. all I can say is. ask questions if you roll over to a new provider do your comparison and make sure that it's all as good as it sounds.

Optichoice keeps ringing me

Optichoice keeps ringing me, even though I already told them that I already changed my private health insurance. I have truecaller.com on my mobile phone now 😁 so I now know who's calling with caller id also, because my previous phone was compromised because I put an app called AnyDesk on my phone (these are scammers). I put this app on my previous phone 📱 because they said they were from ACSC (Australian Cyber Security Centre), they weren't and thank goodness they didn't get my money or any passwords etc. When I rang the real ACSC, I was told to go dark on the internet (social media etc) and I felt safer buying a new phone and they told me about truecaller.com which they use themselves, since I have this app, I have an idea 💡 😀 who's calling especially with caller ID and Optichoice has rung so many times in one day and just this week. I also had a rude call from them before when I was answering the phone and when I told them I'd just changed my private health insurance and it had only been a couple of weeks, the woman on the phone kept pushing 🫸 even though I told her I was going to stay with this insurance for a year or more, she got 😠 😡 angry and hung up, this is no way to do business. Never happened to me before with iselect etc.

.. Tells me "to go cower in the corner" 😮

I received a cold call from a Mitch of Opti Choice. He tells me the call is being recorded. Then asked me if I still have private insurance. I apologised and said I won't be answering any questions, as I have no idea who he is.

He then rudely asks if I'm a bit scared. Then as I say no thanks and goodbye, he says, "I'll let you go away and cower in the corner".

I certainly won't be forgetting Opti Choice.

Previous misinformation given

After receiving misinformation from this so called comparison service I questioned how they were paid and was told they receive an hourly payment and when I started to question whether there were bonuses for sales I received a very rude response with the final sentence being ' I don't need these types of questions and have the day you deserve.' she was just about to be exposed as having a biased reason to get a sale whereby ending up with a less than appropriate health insurance company which becomes a nightmare when you find out too late. Do better Optichoice. Train your staff to be more professional and have unquestionable morals and ethics.

utterly unethical

This company are utterly unethical. They are buying your data (ie. your personal details) from other unscrupulous companies and cold-calling people to the point of harassment. It’s unsolicited, unwanted and a massive invasion of personal privacy. Do t get sucked in by them, please!!!!

I keep receiving calls from Opti Choice…

I keep receiving calls from Opti Choice despite asking them to stop calling them and when telling them I'm happy with my Heatlh Insurance provider who I've been with since discharging from the Australian Defence Forces mid 2012, and other comparison companies advising me that I'm with one of the best Health Insurance providers, Opti Choice keep harassing me with calls.

Rude and abusive

They called called me offering to get me quotes for health insurance. I said sure let’s explore it. They patched me through to another guy who opened the call by saying “ So you want to get health insurance?”
I replied “ possibly, I’m exploring prices”

He came back with “ Well, I don’t wanna be stuffed around and have my time wasted unless you’re serious”
Are you serious? You called me mate!
