Avoid this company.
In a period when interest rates are falling and the cost of borrowing cheaper, this company takes it upon itself to raise interest rates, significantly, £0.28p per every £100 of balance (that's just on purchases), citing rationale like 'risk' and one or two other ridiculous adjectives. This is after increasing my credit limit by £1200 FOUR months ago.

I have a clear credit file, no missed payments on any credit agreement and earn a significant salary, which Opus know about from when I opened the account.

I've closed the account and won't go near this company or it's associated 'brands' again.
If you had any sense you wouldn't either.

*There will be some ridiculous comment from them in response to this no doubt, 'please let us look into your matter', 'our dedicated customer support team are available to discuss .'...etc etc. Save it.

Shocking tactics and a clear attempt to penalise customers who pay on time, every time.

I ve a customar of Opus for 20years,didnt need anything and that was OK... Apart from a low and not increasing credit..
A month ago I got scammed. And what did I find?... Shockingly bad service, unreliable staff on the side of the phone...
The first guy from the frauds said
"not to worry, I will block the card, send you a new one".... And I waited... Waited for 3weeks...no card. Gave them a call... No card issued, my account not blocked and the scammer happily continued scamming me out of another £500.
And the response..
It is not fraud, apparently I agreed with the transaction, they will not return my money and not even apology for not blocking my card when it was supposed to be.
I am done with them. And you should too...
Disgrace Opus!

Great credit card with no problem transactions, easy secure website to follow transactions and payments plus the same can be said for the mobile app.
Easy to contact support should a query arise, or for information.
Have used this card regularly for 7 years without a problem.
Thoroughly recommended.

What the hill is different between aqua card and opus card.
I have both card and aqua has increase my limit every 3 months and I been with them over a years with 5800 limit. But with stupid opus been with over 7 months or more I think and I am stuck 1500 thousned. I ranged them and talk to them numerous time and still no news of credit limit increase.
So my experience has been with this. So I've decided if they don't give me a good increase then I ain't using a card and I will not make anymore payment to opus card. So people if you want a good card it card use aqua card as they are the best for credit building and they give you a good credit limit. I hope the manger will see this as I am so disappointed.!!!
