Online process very smooth, adaptable to change

I found the online process very smooth, all labelling was created and sent to me via email, i jsut had to print it.
Pack & Send went above and beyond when the night before the original collection was scheduled I had to alter the collection time. I contacted through their online chat and was able to adjust the time to a more appropriate one.

Poor service waited over 3 days for a pick-up which never came. Called 3 times and always given the same response "Sorry Sir we have contacted our courier, but they have not called back"
They over promise and under deliver. Source an alternative solution

They were qouting 73% more to ship an item from Sydney to Dublin when compared to send my bag. Same dimensions, weight, destinations and cover. This is a rip off

Much room for improvement

This time around, I was very disappointed with the service provided. I dropped my parcel off at the Capalaba Pack & Send store, but it did not leave there until two weeks later, when I chased it up because the receiver asked when they might expect the parcel. This was very frustrating and not the standard of service that Pack & Send usually provides.

Be Aware Of The Hidden Costs

I had to send personal items via sea shipment from Brisbane to Italy.
They told me that after the shipment would have arrived in Italy I should have paid for custom and local charges, but never mentioned it would have costed nearly the TRIPLE of what was the cost of the shipment, charges that by the way have been agreed before the shipment left Australia, so they knew about it. If I would have been provided with this information I would have taken different choices. I contacted them and it’s about 2 weeks that I am waiting to speak with someone that could help. I feel I have been swindled by the company for the lack of transparency and at least a ballpark figure of what the collateral costs should be, after all if you are in this business, these info should accessible.

I hadn't sent an international parcel…

I hadn't sent an international parcel in many years and was nervous about the whole process as the parcel was carrying family photos of great personal value but no commercial value.

I found help available at every turn as to the process and paper work involved. Neither I nor the recipient could believe at the speed it arrived at its destination, safely and in good order.

I initially liked how they sounded…

I initially liked how they sounded professional and I paid express and ordered on Thursday and wasn't sent till the Tuesday even though I got a call saying parcel was picked up on Monday but then they said it was going to be delivered on Tuesday and when I rang late afternoon they said they tried to deliver but no one was home. Which is rubbish we were home all day. But we didn't know they tried to deliver cause no card was left. I had to ring them again and then was told what happened. I don't think I will be using the again.

Good customer service but outsourced delivery

While the phone customer service (locally and the national number) were excellent and the online booking system and warranty additions clear with reasonable pricing - I was disappointed that the actual delivery was done by Amtrak. I read heaps of reviews about couriers and every one said Amtrak was terrible, so I was trying to avoid them. Indeed my package was not picked up when it was meant to be and then not the next time I rang to confirm. Then it was delivered on the one day I clearly stated NOT to deliver. Pack & Send are courier "solutions" not couriers. I would have to really think if I was going to use this service again.
