I have been a Palava devotee since 2018. Not just because the dresses are unique,,none of your mass production, vintage inspired and can be worn whatever the occassion but because Team Palava are so friendly. The dresses will necome family favourites to be woen by daughters, grand-daughters..

Palava is one of the few clothing brands whocater for all sizes and reflect real women's bodies.
The clothes are a very good quality.

I purchased the Cynthia- sage dress as a treat for myself. The quality and fit is amazing.

Flattering designs in great fabrics, excellent value too. Customer service is also good. Prompt delivery, and no hassle exchange. I have been to the delightful shop in Caledonian Road to try styles and sizes to see how they suit - well worth a visit.

My introduction to Palava was via eBay with one of their sweaters. Since then I've purchased 5 or 6 more directly from Palava in the UK, and will continue to do so going forward. From a beautiful web site to the quality of their sweaters (organic cotton, fun/beautiful designs) and great customer service I've been extremely pleased. The sweater before last was sent in the wrong direction and took a month for me to get. The one I just received this week took all of 4 days from the UK to the Northwest US. (I did remind them of the delayed item, and they pull out all the stops to make me happy without a specific request, most impressive.)

The clothes are so beautiful and well made. They are flattering and I love wearing them. Each time I order something it comes in time, except the one time a package was sent back due to mailman error and they handled it with no problem.

Great to find a UK-based Designer. Products ethically packaged. Though, would like to see more of the range made in UK. Tank top smart and well made, though comes up small (I'm 38" bust with long body, but based on other customer reviews opted for the large size, which was fine for me, but in my opinion would be too small for larger person). Alas, trousers far too big for me, esp. around hip & thigh, (even permitting for 1940's styling) so had to return twice at own expense (one of each size after swopping) which was considerable cost and inconvenient. Possibly could be avoided if more measurements are included on web, i.e., thigh width of product? But fabric excellent quality as was the stitching. Please redesign with a slimmer frame in mind. Leg length of trouser was excellent.
Disappointed that I had to return socks as weave on inside not continuous, but loose thread bound, which would make them uncomfortable for me as I have sensitive skin. If photos or description better on internet shopfront, again this could have been avoided. Would buy socks if weavers can do continuous stocking knit. Cost of multiple returns disappointing and currently put me off making further purchases.

Lovely high-quality unique, classically elegant clothes. Shipped incredibly quickly from "across the pond", too! Happy to support an ethical company with sustainable business products & beautiful products!

As usual the service was impeccable. The staff is always helpful and any enquiries are promptly and friendlily dealt with. The dresses are beautiful, the fabric (all natural, which is a huge plus) of a really high quality and the quality of the workmanship first rate. The clothes are always true to size and fit perfectly. I absolutely love the quirky prints which are such an integral part of clothes from Palava, which has become my go to shop for buying dresses.

Palava are an excellent UK independent clothing brand. Their designs are gorgeous and so original. If I had to call it something I'd say its heritage values with a completely new twist. All the clothing I've bought from them has been incredibly well made. I also recently bought a lampshade in their blue cave print design. It looks so cool!
