Pretty much as everyone lately is…

Pretty much as everyone lately is saying, Parcel Motel signed for my parcel and then 'lost it'. The value fortunately was within the €100 cover but, despite saying they'd refund me nothing has happened over the last month. Clearly they hope the majority of customers just won't get legal involved as it would cost more than the refund.

My experience has been very positive

My experience has been very positive. My parcel arrived without the PM number. I spoke to Emma who was simply brilliant. Genuinely excellent attention to detail. She managed to find my parcel and got it out to me quickly. Really appreciate the support I got.

Unprofessional uncaring company

Shocking, appalling service. Not the first time a package had gone missing (fool me for trusting that it was an isolated incident.) My latest parcel was sent to another customer and they told me yesterday that before they can give a refund they are trying to get it back (despite it going to the wrong customer on the 20th November ) 5 calls I’ve made and still no closer to a refund. Ironically the message playing on loop while you wait (an eternity) to speak to an agent is how much they care about your package !!!! That gave me a giggle they couldn’t care less. Never a supervisor to speak too. I could go on and on. Once this issue is sorted I will never use them again.

Parcel Motel doesn't care.

I've used them for years with no problem, but they have lost several parcels on me over the past few months, and are ignoring my efforts to contact them. I'm guessing that with Brexit looming, they have lost all interest. Never again.

Appalling customer service. Avoid.

Appalling customer service.
2 recent packages wide open in the parcel motel locker, one a ripped open plastic bag with the removed item placed on top of the empty bag. Trying to track a package no response to email, endless waiting to speak to a person on the phone, when you do get to speak to someone they are unhelpful and apparently no supervisors available. Avoid!

After being a loyal customer to Parcel…

After being a loyal customer to Parcel Motel for many years I am extremely disappointed with the service. I ordered an item on 4 Nov. It was delivered to Parcel Motel Newtownabbey a day later - I never received it, apparently it couldn't be found in the warehouse and now after numerous calls which took 30 minutes to be answered each time and emails I am told I'm only covered for €100 towards the cost. Really disappointed. I feel so sorry for the staff reading all of these reviews. UPS should be ashamed of themselves.

Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible. Not a credible alternative to the regular postal service. I chased a parcel from Dublin to Cork to Dublin before it disappeared entirely off the face of the earth. It took me 2 months to get a refund and I had to chase for that (I refused the have the value of the item credited to my account). My compensation for all the trouble I was put to was 10% of the value of the lost item and that had to be credited to my account - doesn’t even cover half the cost of a single minimum delivery cost. And as for trying to get through to customer service, you might as well resign yourself to a highly inflated phone bill. Calling them now for another parcel that arrived at their Dublin warehouse 5 days ago and am waiting over 15mins now...

My parcel was signed for a month ago…

My parcel was signed for a month ago and I am yet to receive any email in return from Parcel Motel. I have called multiple times and have been waiting for 30+ mins, to not have anyone answer.

I need a refund or a response. Never again.

Parcel lost over 3 months

Used parcel motel to return a parcel to a UK retailer. Parcel went missing. Parcel motel would not refund. 300 euro worth of stock within the parcel and liability only covers 100. but still would not refund me 100 euro although a 'nationwide search' could not locate the parcel. Months of unanswered emails, phone calls etc. Confirmed 100% not in the depot. Kept calling every day. After close to 12 weeks. Parcel showed up as never having left the depot.

Fast, but now some delays

Ive never had a problem with them. At this time of year there are delays of about 3-4 days coming from their belfast depot. Usually it will arrive in the depot at 7pm and be at my local pickup box by midnight.

Parcel Motel is obviously on the brink…

Parcel Motel is obviously on the brink of collapse.

They have signed for my order on the 13th October and have admitted that they have lost the parcel.

A refund was promised but never came through and now they are no longer replying to emails and there is no answer when I call them.

Parcel in the depot a week now.
Keeps getting weighed but goes nowhere.
Customer service nice but nothing happens.
Good operation when things go as they should but if there's glitch, terrible.

Absolutely the worst company iv ever…

Absolutely the worst company iv ever had to deal with. This is the second time a parcel has gone missing on me. Customer service is shocking and if you read all the other comments here its not hard to understand why. It's amazing it's the really expensive stuff they 'lose'

Customer service is shockingly…

Customer service is shockingly disappointing, don't even bother emailing them or opening a ticket because they will never respond and it seems like they only check their Twitter a few times a year and I'm not joking. I've lost a package worth €50. I've tried to get a hold of them in every way. I'll spare the details but I've been let down, money lost and time wasted. Don't know if I'll be using this service again and it seems a lot of other people feel the same way.
Thanks Parcel Motel, please hire more staff to handle your customer service.

EDIT: after about 2 weeks they finally emailed me and I called them and after 20 minutes I finally got through to one of their customer support staff. The lady was very helpful and patient, but I still don't think my package will turn up. Will update this if it does

Awful company

Awful company with a non-existent customer service. It looks like I am not the only one who feels the same which is a bit poor considering people rely on this service.

Stick to An Post or DPD, both solid services.

Customer service is so bad.Missing my…

Customer service is so bad.Missing my item since August.Nobody knows anything in this company.If you ask for supervisor - answer is no.So who can help?
After 3 months dealing with Emma I was told that in 15 days time I will get refund to cover my missing item cost.3 weeks is gone and still nothing.Email them again a few days ago still no reply.
