Fabulous family holiday

We're just back from our 4th visit to Brynteg and as you can tell from the repeated visits each stay had been brilliant. Every caravan we have stayed in has been superb quality and little touches like the cleaning pack, toiletries pack and emergency brew kit on arrival make it even better... You always forget something right so these help in them situations!
The site itself is quiet and relaxed and just what you need of you want to get away from it all.The boathouse is lovely to sit back with a drink and taking in the breathtaking views, whilst the country club do lovely food and is a good spot to meet friends and socialise.
The facilities are excellent too and are never overcrowded which is nice, the booking system was in place still on our last visit but is very simple and easy to book. The spa is amazing and just what you need to start the day. Lots of activities for the kids to get involved in; pool parties, foot golf, football, tennis etc. The site is conveniently with lots of attractions and towns close by to visit. You can easily spend a day or two either on the site or going for walks in the local area, amazing views and scenery close by!
Well done park leisure; keep up the excellent work and we'll no doubt be back soon!

A nice time at Pentire Coastal Holiday Park.

We have had a nice time at Pentire Coastal Holiday Park. Very quiet and relaxed place. The caravan was clean and had all the stuff that you need for your stay.
The location is near the seaside and the town (Bude) is very close and you can found shops to buy whatever you need.
I will recommend the place for your staycation!

Pentire park

Firstly the lady on reception is lovely, very helpful very friendly and genuinely fab at her job.
The caravan was a lifestyle with decking, the decking was nice just enough to sit out on for an hour in the sun. A few appliances (bread knife, chopping board) random things we could have used that weren’t there.
The pillows in the double bedroom were disgusting, they smelt really bad so we swapped them for the spares in the cupboard. The bedding was white a few years ago, I’m not too sure what it was now. There were cobwebs in corners of most rooms and we had in excess of 10 spiders over the weekend. The cutlery all needed washing before use, as did the glasses.
The park itself is small, very much an owners site, ppl look at u a bit awkward if your on holidays as opposed to owning, also don’t play ur music above quiet or the ‘owners’ tell unto turn it down, unyet they seem to be happy shouting n screaming 🤷‍♀️
the kids play area was lovely,
the dog walking area is perfect.
The gin bar that was supposed to be open fri sat sun 12-8 was open Friday then closed. There is nothing on site, and the nearest town is 10 min drive away, the beach is 10 min drive away. The club house on the neighbouring site we used twice, it’s an experience, not a fab one but the staff all work hard and put 100% effort in, they really do try hard, management need to sort it out their end.

We stayed at Par Sands at the beginning…

We stayed at Par Sands at the beginning of August and booked at pet friendly caravan. It was perfect for us. We were worried before we arrived that we'd have to tie the dog up so he didn't run away but the caravan had a veranda with a gate so he was completely secure. The park is directly behind Par Sands which is dog friendly all year so we had a great time exercising him. It is close to many areas to drive to including Eden Project, Looe, Cardinham Woods amongst others. The caravan was clean and the whole process from booking, checking in and out was very simple. Thank you, we will be back.

We stayed at Pentire in bude

We stayed at Pentire in bude. We have a touring caravan with three children.
When we first arrived we were delighted with the size of our pitch. It was huge. Then we went to the toilet and shower block. The toilets are shared, men and women. And there is only three showers to share. There is no washing up facility after your cooking, and no laundry room. They gave us a wifi code but it was useless. But there is a very good dog wash area. We spent 3 hours on the phone trying to find somewhere else. But in the end we enjoyed a nice holiday.
They have 5 stars on there sign but they need to take two off.
5 stars for what exactly ?????????

Far exceeded my expectations …

Had previously booked with another company only to find it was a scam so when I found the one at brynteg holiday park in north Wales I was naturally dubious so phoned to check all was in order once I arrived it far exceeded my expectations and booking in was easy and the booking staff explained what was open what I needed to book etc due to COVID and staff shortages was given welcome pack with very useful info about the sites and places to eat can’t rate them enough would highly recommend this site to anyone

Happy days 13/082021

We was really worried about what to expect we had never heard of Pentire Leisure Park.
However, from the moment we parked the car and opened the Lodge door we was relaxed , suffice to say we certainly will be booking again ,
and if the other sites are as clean with Lodges of this standard, we will taking a holiday in all areas knowing the accommodations is really good .
Thank you for a most comfortable stay.

Average Service, Will Not Return

We booked 4 gold category caravans for 3 nights each in July 2020 (1 year in advance) and still paid £769 for 3 caravans and £709 for 1 caravan, £3016 in total. Caravans were very clean but only 1 room had a double bed, rest 2 bedrooms had 2 single beds, definitely not for an adult to sleep. Toiletries (shower gel, soap) were provided in just 2 caravans so on the first morning I requested the Housekeeping Gentlemen for some linen and toiletries for 2 caravans, he made a note but never came back so we went to Asda to buy some. Outside the main caravan (F1)we did BBQ on Friday evening, an old lady in the adjacent caravan (F2) kept on bothering us the whole evening and our entire stay. Beach water was not blue, as shown in the video, in fact it was dark and dirty which was very disappointing because our main reason to visit was the beach, so we drove down to Fistral beach in Newquay (50 mins drive) which was stunning. The swimming pool was very nice and clean and we enjoyed it but there was a time limitation of 45 minutes unfortunately. The summary is that we paid a lot and it was definitely not worth it at all (waste of money I must say)
We will not return for sure.

RIBBLE VALLEY HOLIDAY HOMES

RIBBLE VALLEY HOLIDAY HOMES, PAYTHORNE, LANCS.
We purchased our holiday home 4 years ago and haven’t looked back. It’s one of the best things we’ve ever done. We viewed various sites and found that this site ticked all our boxes. It has a lovely country feel with easy access to Skipton, Settle and Clitheroe. Lots of walks and a good pub on the doorstep. Excellent facilities including owners events.
Friendly efficient staff. A good sales team that guided us through our purchase. We would definitely recommend this site.

Par holiday park

Par holiday park exceeded our expectations, well laid out with plenty of amenities and across from the beach. The caravan was clean, spacious and well equipped. I would definitely revisit.

2nd time staying with park leisure…

Our 2nd time staying with park leisure and really can’t fault it one bit . The accommodation was spotlessly clean and of a high standard and the contactless check in was amazing , no hanging around in a pointless queue leaving us to get started with our holiday straight away. We will definitely be booking again with park leisure I really am impressed with everything !

Having just come out of hospital

Having just come out of hospital after a serious bladder condition decided to book a break for a few days. Found a site and booked for 4 days in September. Day after booking was again taken ill, and told do not drive. Immediately contacted the site and told them I would have to cancel." will pass that on to booking". Nothing heard so following day phoned again, "someone will phone you back". Again, nothing for several hours. Phoned again and asked to speak to bookings. Told lady what had transpired, "Oh yes, I have an email here from another team". Told her about Hospital and still having issues, "can I cancel". "Will have to check with the head office about a refund, will phone you back". Received a phone call an hour later. "we can cancel, however, there will be a charge of £50", two days to get an answer and then a £50 charge to cancel because of medical problems, won't be looking on here again.

Great site and a good base to visit Cornwall's attractions.

Just got back from a week in our tourer staying just outside Kilkhampton. We had a great stay, the pitches are huge and well maintained, the Dog walk is fantastic, our two dogs loved the long grass. The toilet block is unisex but it seems to work well, the floor was a bit wet in the morning but it was cleaned quickly as soon as the housekeeping team arrived. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, the Gin bar was a nice bonus too. It's a good base to visit Cornwall. We've stayed here several times in the past, I think under a previous owner, where it was predominantly tourers. But the standard of the hasn't dropped and we would definitely go back again.

A perfect base

The park was lovely and clean as was the caravan that we stayed in. Everything you could have needed was supplied and this was great.

My only complaint was that we tried several times to book a slot to use the pool and were told that it was fully booked. If we came back at a certain time, then there "may" be a cancellation.

I got the impression that people were booking a slot each day for the whole week and then not turning up and felt that this was a little unfair. I paid for a week and for the use of the facilities, but never actually got to use them.

Pod camping at Littondale

Lovely clean & well equipped pod in a beautiful location, perfect for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. Would have been a five star rating except for the inconvenient arrangements for accessing the glamping toilet & shower facilities. These facilities were all covid securely marked out for each pod but were locked for access from 5pm to 9am. On enquiring about a key we were told there was not enough to give out to each pod so would have to use between these hours by obtaining key from reception or use the very cramped shower/toilet unit in the pod. This arrangement is not convenient or acceptable & more keys need providing or a keypad installing on the door. Effectively it meant all campers only had access to the open disabled toilet out of reception hours.

Stayed in our camper at the bude site

Stayed in our camper at the bude site , toilets 3? And showers unisex , absolutely filthy , floors wet through and toilets with faeces on the seats not good during a pandemic would have expected extra cleats . Gin & wine bar closed , 3mile drive to beach even though on web was advertised as beach front and gym & pool , none of these , at £50 per night it was disgusting , just hope we haven’t caught anything from the showers or toilets , needless to say we left early .
