Really helpful staff, I logged a problem with my boiler via the portal and 2 hours later they’d arranged for someone to come round to look at it. It was all sorted in half an hour. So grateful for their help and kindness, it is really appreciated!

The Pat Robson Team particularly Abbie have been helpful throughout the process of sorting and organising our letting ensuring a smooth process for us.

I had Abbie helping me through renting a flat in South Gosforth. I recently started full time work and live nowhere near where I was looking to move - the team and Abbie especially were very prompt and understood how quickly I needed to get sorted, including allowing my partner to attend viewings, etc as I couldn’t. Everything was a lot smoother than other experiences I’ve had and all my queries were answered (I’ve never rented alone before). Very relieved and pleased!

Pat Robson tried to screw me (tenant) by increasing my rent without the landlord asking them to. When i declined their increase with a good reason, they took the money from my account without my permission.

In the end i spoke to the landlord who ditched Pat Robson for a better agent, and i stayed on at the property on the original rent.

The viewing experience was well planned and l was able to get all the information l needed about the property, Grace was very helpful. Abbie helped me a lot through the reference stage and this made it all easier.

Having used Patrobson for both sales and lettings management over the last 14 years, I cannot recommend them highly enough. Reece in the lettings team was an absolute star, always available to advise, professional, knowledgeable and took the stress out of being a landlord, even whn dealing with very tricky tenants. The sales team were very helpful and efficient and made selling my property extremely stress free. Would highly recommend Pat Robson to any sellers/buyers/landlords or those looking to rent.

I would like to perosnally thank Abbie Percival for the help she has given me throughout a tenancy takeover process. From the very moment I sent the email, Abbie made it so easy to get the ball rolling and complete! It took maybe two weeks maximum, but I had to do very little in that time. Communication was brilliant and all my questions were answered. Pat Robson clearly have a great process in place in order to make things easy for old and new tenants, so credit to them.

I’m sharing this review to highlight a very frustrating experience with this property management company concerning my son, who was a tenant through this agency.

From the beginning of the tenancy, the property was unclean and in poor condition, upon arrival there was a fridge free standing in the middle of the kitchen with an electrical cable plugged into an extension lead hanging across the kitchen several feet off the ground. However, the situation worsened significantly when a pigeon got into a vent and died. it was discovered in the flat roof void space, leading to a severe maggot infestation in the bathroom air vent. A contractor assured the tenants that this would be a temporary issue that would resolve as the maggots died off, but this did little to address the significant discomfort my son faced during this period, and left the property in breach of Health & Safety legislation.

Communication from the landlord and property management was lacking. They suggested covering the fan as a temporary fix but failed to follow up effectively or provide clear guidance, leaving my son to deal with the ongoing problem without adequate support. It felt as though their approach was to dismiss the issue, knowing that student tenants might be less inclined to challenge them.

The claim that the property was "habitable" because there was an additional bathroom available was a poor excuse for the ongoing distress and inconvenience. Their dismissive attitude and refusal to acknowledge the impact of these issues when it came to the deposit return were both frustrating and unjust.

Overall, this experience has been deeply disappointing. The property management’s failure to properly maintain the property and their inadequate handling of tenant concerns reflect a lack of respect and consideration. I would strongly advise prospective tenants to be cautious before renting from this company, as my experience reveals a troubling disregard for tenant welfare and proper property management.
