Somehow my points disappeared, almost $100.
waited 1 1/2 hours to get through only to have the rep argue with me to the point I asked to speak to her supervisor. They sent me a new email to call them re my missing points and now waiting another hour. Is there only 1 person working. This is BS. so by the time somebody answers I'll be irrate.
They have promotions like 15,000 points…
They have promotions like 15,000 points for your purchase plus another 15,000 when you use your PC Mastercard. They don’t give you the points…I purchased twice for this promotion and nothing. Everytime they have a promotion you have to email them to get your points. It’s disgusting…and a waste of my valuable time…

On hold forever with PC Optimum Points frozen
I am currently on hold with
@pc_optimum
to deal with my frozen points account. They are telling me that I their wait time is 1 hour and 40 minutes to speak to a customer service rep.
They are experiencing "Higher than normal call volumes" which we all know translates to "insufficient staffing" and "we are contemptuous of your time sucka...nya, nya"
They have a bot responding to email requests for assistance. So email doesn't work to circumnavigate their attrocious customer service.
I am currently listening to their to @pc_optimum
advertising which is telling me how wonderful they are, while I listen to their upbeat music on 30 second REPEAT.

I activated my deal on the app (surprise 20000-30000 pts with 60$ purchase with exceptions) scanned the card and made a 120$ purchase while avoiding all LISTED exceptions… and I did not receive promo… contacted the company and received a reply like 2 weeks later than on 48$ of my 120$ applied 🙄 I AM NO LONGER a pc optimum member! This always happens with them?
All good until you need help
All good until you need help. Then you call. Then you are being force fed advertising for the card and the app for 6 minutes on your dime before they even place you in the waiting loop, keep interrupting the loop countless times for more advertising, and when that finally stops. 10 min in, they'll tell you how important your call is. The one thing you won't hear is whether its 15 min or 5 hours on hold. So.... i am out. C a n c e l!

Stolen points/unable to contact support.
50,000 points were redeemed from my account from another province about a week ago. I don’t know who did this but I have been trying to get my points back and have been unable to contact anyone, been on hold for outrageous amounts of time, always resulting in me being randomly hung up on. This is extremely unprofessional, I was basically robbed and these people don’t have the customer service abilities to connect me to a human for a week straight. I just want my account secure and my points back.

Trying to link a PC Financial MC won't…
Trying to link a PC Financial MC won't let me do it .. Tried the chat option says I need to call to speak to a live agent . When I tried this week I get its 1.5 hrs wait times to speak to live person and by that time you get hung up on and you never really truelly speak to anyone so problems never really get resolved .. May cancel my MC and move on to another card just for the lack of customer service . It alike they have one person for all these calls! And can't resolve issues on chat cause of privacy and security issues 😒

I was forced to give a 1 star rating in order to continue. I would give negative stars if that were possible. While I am still able to earn PC Optimum points, for some inexplicable reason, which coincided with me upgrading from PC Financial Mastercard to PC Financial World Mastercard, I am unable to redeem PC Optimum points. I have had a few “case numbers”, have had my “case” escalated to a “specialist” but NO response from “specialist” and NO resolution to this issue. Seems like a very poorly run operation. And forget phoning for assistance as it’s simply an exercise in further frustration.

Horrible experience with my account…
Horrible experience with my account being frozen for unclear reason without notifying me! While trying to resolve the issue, I was forced to wait on the phone for the next "available" representative for 1.5 (!) hour... finally was promised that a supervisor would call me within 24 hours and needless to say nobody got in touch. Sent a PM via FB messenger, received another "confirmation" of my case being escalated and a promise to hear back from the support team - silence... Missed the points redemption event I was waiting for, and now not even sure if someone will look into the problem PC Optimum created themselves. Outrageous!

Too bad you can't give a negative rating. % calls later and problem still not solved. Just called waited 55 minutes only for the representative to answer a phone with back ground talking. She tells me she is having technical difficulties and says she is putting me back in the queue for next available person. It takes me back to step 1 and I have to go through all the automated choices, guess what another 55 minute wait. What horrible service.
PC health app has become a scam & a waste of time
this review isn't for PC Optimum so much as it is for the PC health app, which has become a complete waste of time & a clear indicator of how greedy & corrupt this company is. What happened to the 1000 points awarded as bonuses????? What happened to the 500 point "programs"???? Now everytime program awards only 100 points. I refuse to get your garbage credit card & I rarely shop @ your overpriced stores so my point accumulation is nearly non-existent. I have $112 points and i want to redeem my points and i can’t redeem it, so shoppers store told me to call them and when i called them they said they are suspecting suspicious thing going on with my account which was a lie. So they told me i have to wait for 10 days day and they will fix my pc optimum account so i can redeem it, and i have wait for the 10 business days have passed already and when i call and tell them the 10 business day have passed already, they are saying i have to wait for the specialist to get back to me and nobody is getting back to me, and always giving me different stories when i call. This pupils are lies and theifs. I don’t recommend anyone to use pc optimum because they will try and steal your points. They are theifs.
