Doesn't Work!!
I have been a PC Optimum customer for 10 years. If I could give this app/service a -4 I certainly would. Can't login in to get the offers or points that I have for over 3 weeks...called and was on hold for over 45 mins. No customer service. Can't delete the app either. Makes me wonder what's really going on and what kind of info they are keeping on me and other customers. More risks than benefits...Don't bother with this one there are plenty of other apps
Worst customer service
Worst customer service you can ever get
The worst customer service I ever got was from PC. I got my mastercard in may because there was a 100k points offer and I was looking for a mastercard as well. I activated my card on 22nd may and made my first transaction the same day at a Esso gas station and after that I contacted customer service at least 10 times regarding the bonus points that I made a transaction and when will I get the points and everyone told me to just wait, I asked again and again that do I need to fulfil any other conditions to get those points and again everyone told me to wait for 4-6 weeks and didn't tell me that my transaction at Esso wony count, now after more than 3 months I didn't receive any points and got to know that the transaction I made doesn't count and its my mistake.
Like after asking again and again about everything nobody told me or explained me anything before and now you guys are telling me that I didnt met the conditions.
Thank you for the worst service and wasting my time in contacting you guys again and again.
I have a pc optimum 1card
I have a pc optimum card, for over 15 yrs. Load my offers every Thursday. Offers loaded are also for the app. I bought $50 worth of Gas. Did not get them. Filed a complaint still did not get the. Called pc optimum, 25min before any one answered. Still not resolved. This is not the first time, I find this happening multiple times. I’m now ready to cancel my pc master card an pc points card. I feel that there I a lot of BS and that they wanted to minipulate the customers in many ways
What a terrible program
I would have rated zero, but the minimum is one. There web page is so difficult to use and I am tired of constantly getting error messages every time I try to do something. I have shredded my card and my mom’s cards. They can keep our accumulated points. Very disappointed. They should be ashamed.

I talked to a live agent Pavan on virtual assistant and he never answered any of my questions, completely took his time and absolutely didn’t do a damn thing. Then sends me a case closed email. The email has a review the agent which leads to a dead link! This is my first and last time using PC express and optimum. DO NOT USE these scammers. My case was because they over charged me and I wanted to transfer my points and close my account. Stay far away and your welcome - Calgary AB
Piece of junk software that logs you…
Piece of junk software that logs you out all the time. I stopped using it and don’t care about their points anymore. So stressful and useless software
PC Optimum program is a sham
With very few exceptions, your stores have the worst "deals" around the GTA. Almost every single product you offer is considerably more expensive than other stores. You mark up items by untold margins and offer a fraction of those markups as "points" to redeem as "added value" to the consumer. I have been shopping elsewhere in recent months. Currently, I only shop at PC stores when I have points to redeem, which I accumulate with my PC Mastercard while shopping elsewhere. In my opinion, the PC Optimum program and all other "points" programs are a huge deception to the consumer, whereby retail chains (monopolies) inflate prices and offer the proverbial "carrot" as reward to the consumer, who you see as the donkey.
The Worse Customer Service Ever
I have had the worst customer service experience of my life. It's been 2 weeks of phone calls, chats bots, and emails. I changed my number, and I updated it on all my online profiles. It did not update my 2 step verification. Now I can't get into my account, and apparently it's the Optimum program that changes your 2 step verification for PC Express. I've spent hours on the phone trying to get help. They have sent me in a loop of hell. They have insisted I can do it myself. They don't even have the insight that I can't get past the 2-step verification page to update anything. I have had a similar issue with a few other programs, and they were able to resolve the issue, but not PC Optimum, or PC Express. They don't have the decency to contact you back! I spend so much money at Loblaws. I am flabbergasted at how they treat their customers. I was actually in tears at one point. It's embarrassing, but true. The frustration has gotten that intense. They don't deserve my business, but they are a monopoly in Canada. Honestly, there has to be a better recourse for customers to complain. Executives hide behind call centers, and poorly trained and paid agents. It's shameful.
Bait and switch promo; Worst customer service
This is regarding a promotional email I received on Mar 8, 2024, from PC Financial. It's titled an Exclusive Offer and stated in the email, 'get 40,000 bonus PC Optimum points when you sign in with your PC ID account linked to your PC Optimum card and make an eligible purchase ONLINE at Shoppers Drug Mart.
Plus, as a PC Financial cardholder, you'll get an EXTRA 5,000 points when you pay with your PC Mastercard or PC Money Account until March 10'. I had carefully read through all details, including everything in the fine print of the T&C for this offer, even clicked on the hyperlink within the fine print for offer details (which only led to the homepage of SDM). Nowhere did I see a minimum amount spent stated in the offer. But now, after making the required purchase according to the offer, I was told it didn't qualify because it required a minimum spend of $125.
And all this didn't come easy!! The missing PC Point claim was filed on Apr 19, Case Number: 183*****, then I was given a runaround with over 13 emails back-and-forth asking for screenshot after screenshot, again and again, even info of PC Mastercard used and details of the order. This is all after I had already attached all relevant info, screenshot of the offer, and the order in my 1st email. This runaround lasted from Apr 22 to May 16.
During the course of this runaround, I was told more than once that there was a minimum spend requirement of $125 for this offer but whenever I disputed that requirement didn't exist anywhere on the offer and asked for clarification, no direct response to that besides saying that's what they see after their review. Finally, on a May 16 email, a representative stated in the email addressed 'No-Reply', that since I was advised by one of their senior reps (signed as S**, on the May 15 email), that the purchase I made does not qualify for the points stated in the offer, wherein the argument was 'spend $125 or more', I assume that was their final decision. Since I still hadn't gotten the answer I asked for (where did this $125 come from), I once again asked for confirmation if that was their final decision. Now comes the fun part.
A rep reviews the offer again, but comes to a conclusion that the offer was 'spend $100 or more', so I didn't qualify. So now, you tell me where that $125+ or $100+ spend came from, since it obviously wasn't from the offer I received.
Deceptive promotion for PC Insider Mastercard
The promo for PC Insider world elite is deceptive. They weren't clear on the point one will receive. I opted for it because they said they will give 150,000 points if I opted only for me to receive 60,000 points. The customer service I spoke to was horrible and argumentative. Worst experience. Then one hardly get points on groceries no matter how much you spend in their store. Total rip-off. After one year, I'm going back to world elite as $120 annual subscription is not worth it.
Horrible program
Horrible program. I've been scanning my points card all these years and received no points on groceries. You have to load your offers in order to receive points. What a joke. I don't have to do this with scene points. What a scam PC do better and stop taking advantage of people. Horrible customer service horrible program.
You don't deserve 1
If I could, I would have given you ZERO. Your customer service is the absolutely worst ever. I would probably had better response from a 3years old child. At first i was not granted over 50,000 points which i was eligible for and I proved it. After endless email exchange I was informed that I would not receive the points as when a purchased items returned the points are cancelled. I informed the "customer service" that a) i was not given the points in the first place, b) for that reason i returned the item and repurchased it, as the cashier though that would fix the issue (it did not). Now a month passed and I have not heard anything back from PC points representatives, despite numerous emails sent to them.
scammers
They say I didnt download my offers so of course didnt get the 10000 points and then if you use your pc mastercard you get 5000 more. Got none - definitely a lesson learnt for me - dont bother wasting your time with pc optimum. They only lure you in to get nothing.

After calculating 855$ savings over seven years. I saved 122.14$ per year with PC Optimum Points. Too bad it’s not a monthly savings!

This company has the worst service I have ever seen. Someone broke into my PC account and stole $1500 in points. I’ve been saving for years. They blame me for this but won’t admit that their site is obviously too easy to hack. It’s happened to me twice. Even the staff at Shoppers Drugmart say they have the worst customer service.

I have nothing good to say about the PC app and their total lack of customer service. If I can ever get assistance to redeem the points I have accumulated I will never shop at Loblaws again.

I was lied to by a cashier that I had spent enough to earn the points on offer. When I contacted PC Optimum, they refused to fix it. I went there specifically in response to this offer, and so I am now out the equivalent of more than $20.00. To me it is a $20 theft; no different. This rewards system and this entity needs to be investigated, because I'm not the only one who has experienced this.
It sucks
Half the time it doesn't open. It rarely opens or works at Shoppers, No Frills or other stores that takes it.
Worst customer service.
Worst customer service.
Representative doesn’t know what to do.
Waiting time more than hour.
Could not solve my issue. Tried to link my optimum with Pcmc. No body know how to do that even on Optimum app error message keeps coming. Lost many points.
Terrible Customer Service
I was receiving offers that I didn't want. I wasted valuable time going through repetitive loops to speak with an agent who told me that my issue couldn't be fixed & there was no compensation for my wasted time.
