Weeks and weeks down the line, I am still waiting for my reglazed glasses to return to me. Emails to Perfect Glasses are being ignored and I have no idea whether or not I have just wasted my money and... See more

If only I had read these reviews before making an order. Absolutely inept company. When they wanted an extra £16 (something to do with the lenses) the email communication was instant. Now I want to... See more

My Glasses arrived and the rimless frames are of good quality better than I expected. The price was way below what my optician a very well known UK chain would have charged me. Rimless frames are e... See more

Please support your local optician instead

Please support your local optician rather than using Perfect Glasses. It is only after you have paid online that you discover the business is managed from outside the UK (even if it does have a physical presence in LE12). I had sent my favourite glasses for reglazing, following the instructions to the letter. After waiting for many days for any sort of acknowledgement or progress update, I started contacting the company. I received the same bland response every time, usually after a major delay. I had to do all the chasing; at no point was anything ever volunteered to me. Halfway through the dialogue I had to send a copy of the postal receipt to prove that I had in fact sent my glasses to the lab. Luckily I had a photograph of the receiving staff members signature, otherwise I believe I would have lost my glasses and my money. It was only when I started suggesting a refund after several weeks that anything began to happen. In fairness, the eventual reglazing had been undertaken well and the glasses were (unusually I understand) sent back by next day delivery. Please support your local optician - the savings here are just not worth the hassle and stress.

Reply from Perfectglasses

We are sorry for this experience. The postal receipt was needed to check the details of the team member that signed for it as at times we receive glasses that have the label damaged making it difficult for us to identify who the glasses are from. Using this we were able to track the glasses and as informed over the email we sent it back using priority delivery to avoid any more delays.

Bad communication

Bad communication , I have sent email about returning my glasses twice, no advice how to return, no steps to follow online, no address , no return form inside the parcel, not even copy of the order. I have been advices to use this website and I’m disappointed, as I have lost £100 . For sure won’t be shopping there again and won’t recommend to anyone.

We are sorry for this experience especially after we see that you have been buying glasses from us for over 10 years now.

I have checked the email correspondence and see that we did receive an email over the weekend and we replied to you with the return process on Monday.

You can return the glasses for replacement or for a full refund as mentioned in the email.

Good quick service but I was…

Good quick service but I was disappointed with the range of large glasses, they all seem to be for little people. The fashion now is for large lenses so I am surprised you are not keeping in with this fashion.
