I cannot thank Shanaka, Anne & Amila (From Lanka) and Tim & Haider (from Melbourne), and the entire team enough for the outstanding service in relocating my three cats overseas.
What initially felt like an overwhelming and impossible process was made incredibly simple and stress-free from start to finish. All details; quotes and process was outlined from the very beginning. Shanaka from Petexpress.lk guided me from the very beginning and connected me with Tim from Pets in Melbourne, and from that point everything was handled smoothly and professionally from both ends!
My cats arrived safe, healthy, and very well cared for. I was especially impressed by the large travel carriers, which gave them plenty of space and comfort during the journey.
The team provided constant updates, reassurance, and support throughout the entire process, from drop-off to pick-up, it was smooth! Having my cats reunited with our family has made our home feel complete again, and my kids were absolutely thrilled to see them.

We previously used Pet Express to move our two French Bulldogs from Singapore to Sri Lanka, and the experience was good. Because of that, we trusted them again when relocating our dogs from Sri Lanka to the United Kingdom.

This time the experience was extremely disappointing.

We were given incorrect information about flying our dogs via France, and based on that advice we paid thousands of dollars upfront for both EU and UK documentation. After flights were already booked, we were suddenly told the plan was not possible and that it had never been promised.

Despite charging us for EU paperwork, we were refused any refund when that route fell through.

We were also told blood test results would take about one month, but we spent three months chasing updates, often receiving no response at all. Our relocation was left completely in limbo, with our lives split between countries waiting for documents that kept being pushed to “next week.”

Eventually they quoted us a very expensive cargo option, but by then we had lost trust and used another freight forwarder instead. That company was professional, transparent, and cost roughly one-fifth of the price we were quoted.

The most disappointing part was that no accountability was taken:

- No refund for the unused EU process
- No proactive communication
- No apology for months of delays and stress

When you are moving beloved family members, not just cargo, communication and honesty matter.

Sadly, that was completely missing here. Pet parents, please be cautious.

Pet Exepress did a wonderful job in bring our pet from Botswana to Srilanka.
Shanaka ans Team did all relevant paper works and guided us and supported us during the Relocation of Jimmy.

I was not planning to leave Sri Lankan even though I got an opportunity overseas. I was worried that I have to leave Kyle.
Then I found out about Pet Express and followed their page for couple of months and went through their reviews and testimonials. I knew the moment I spoke to Shanaka that Kyle will be in safe hands.
Shanaka and his team truly know what they are doing and also very patient and understanding when it comes to the paw parents. They truly understand what we go through. The experience with Pet Express, Shanaka and his team was remarkable. Through out our journey from Colombo to Dubai he has been with me and Kyle every step of the way, answering every call, every text message and every email. I have no words to thank Shanaka and his team.
It was a bit of a price to pay when we negotiated on the total price, however Shanaka really provided a premium service and it was worth every penny.

Amazing service from Shanaka and his team. They always made us informed and therefore comfortable throughout the process. We were helped with vet services as well. Shanaka has this amazing way of managing the pet parents nerves too… giving assurance and of course following it up with genuine actions. . It's now been three years since I used Pet Express and I have to say it was a wonderful experience! I received excellent help throughout the process and both my dog ​​and I were well looked after. It went without problems when my dog ​​traveled from Sri Lanka to Norway thanks to Pet Express' assistance. I really don't know what I would do without them. It would definitely have been much more difficult and challenging to get my dog ​​to Norway without their help.

Shanaka & his team are wonderful. Shipping a beloved dog around (in our case from Amsterdam to Sri Lanka) adds a lot of stress to us dog owners, especially with a difficult breed like French Bulldog.

Thank you so much Shanaka and the team for assisting me to get my Akeera from New Zealand to Sri Lanka. All the other transport companies said that it is not possible to transport dogs from NZ to SL due to various restrictions set in place by the NZ GOVT. Petexpress was the only company that accepted my request and act positively from day one. They flew Akeera from Auckland to Sydney, Australia where she had to stay for around 6 weeks. After getting the required vaccines and blood tests in AUS, they flew Akeera from Sydney to Colombo. They sent Akeera to my place in two hours after she landed and I could not believe that. I was so worried that I am going to miss my baby Akeera the Rottweiler, but Shanaka and the team gave me hope. They are a super friendly, honest, caring, trustworthy, and fully committed team. So glad that we found Shanaka to assist us in relocating our 13-year dog Browny. Our main concern was Browny's age (seemed impossible) but from the very first day we spoke to Shanaka, we were given an overview of the overall process and as he explained we did not go through any hassle as Shanaka took care of everything including paperwork and all other requirements.

This is the 2nd time I have used Petexpress to transport my dog Amber. The first time was in 2018 when she was flown from SL to the UK. More recently she returned on the 2nd Feb 23 and we used Petexpress once again to handle the affairs at this end, and Shanaka went out of his way to keep us posted as to what, when and how we should handle this to enable a smooth and comfortable journey for our dog.
