Simply Brilliant Product coupled with exceptional service both Pre and Post sale . There are a few similar products online and I was a bit nervous purchasing sight unseen from the other side of the world . As soon as the package arrived and I opened it these thoughts were instantly dismissed . Excellent , 10/10 . I can say no more .

Well made pole which feels sturdy with a £2k+ camera and lens attached on top.

Takes a little practice to understand how the pole responds to gusts of wind, so best to start at half way height and then slowly increase the height so you can get a feel for how much resistance you need to apply to balance the weight of the pole.

I initially gave 4 stars because the screws on the quick release clamps had a tendency to come loose, however this feedback was acknowledged by Photomast and they posted me out newly designed replacement clamps to address the issue.

Overall very pleased with the quality and performance and would recommend this product.

The handling of the photomast is amazing easy and the result in individual situations makes the product for each photographer important.

Great pole for aerial-like photographs. I also have a drone and the photos taken on my full-size DSLR using this pole are much greater quality than those taken with the Phantom 4 Pro drone. I use it to shoot homes for ale (real estate). My favorite elevation for most photos is about 15'-20' high, but I do appreciate the 30' length when I want to capture the scenery behind the house or when trees are blocking the house so I can go above them.

PHOTOMAST is great!

I'm using the photomast for over 4 years now, and it is a great addition to my equipment. It's a great product which allows me to be even more creative and get the shots you normally aren't able to get.

The quality of the product is stunning, and the service of the photomast-team is even better!

Photomast is compact, light and extremely solid; a perfect tool which i use very often on my shoots as event-photographer to get the best overview-shots possible!

Purchased 8 metre photomast. Shipping from Holland was immediate and arrived in UK 2 days later in time for a photoshoot.
Photomast is very stable even in windy conditions and the ability to raise and lower the sections smoothly is excellent. Customer service was superb.

Have just received the 10 m version of the Photomast, after long deliberation. While an expensive product, the alternative was a drone. Cost-wise they came out about the same, but the photomast is low-tech and allows use of our standard camera. We are very happy about our choice - this is a very high quality product. The relatively low weight means it is portable enough to be carried strapped onto a rucksack. A bit heavier than randonee skis. Our main use will be taking pictures of anchorages for a harbour guide, and hopefully some great summit/cairn photos while "sail & skiing".

Having made the decision to invest in using a photo mast for taking elevated photos at our rural estate agency, I was amazed at the raft of useless looking products out there. Having found Photomast, I was both relieved to have come across such a wonderful company, with truly great customer service, and excited at the prospect of using the kit. A great product, the cost was very reasonable I felt, and now having had a chance to use the 10 metre photomast, I was shocked at just how easy it was, managing to take an elevated shot at 8 metres high straight away, and with a straight aspect that complimented the property. Truly a super product very highly recommended, thank you!

I have been using the 8 meter Photomast for about six months now and with great results. I have a tendency to research everything I buy and after my research I settled with the Photomast. My questions and concerns were promptly answered and the product was delivered promptly.
I have made artectural photos that I couldn't have done with a ladder. I have also made some nice spherical panos outside. Gives a total different look than a tripod shot. I have recently been making 3D photos of statues where drone is to low to use.
I teamed this up with the Camranger so t can see and adjust as needed from ground zero! The only request would to have voice command to capture so I can have both hands on the pole. At 65 I would just feel more comfortable with two hands!
For those of you that have small cars stick with the 8 meter pole. Putting the camera on the pole works well for me but not sure I could reach the 10 meter pole when vertical.
The only problem I have had is with onlookers! I just tell them it's my selfie stick and they leave me alone!

John over at Photomast got me my package at rush speed with no problem! The whole unit is incredibly easy to use, and light weight. Every shoot brings a few onlookers who marvel at just how high the Photomast reaches, to get the best photos. The RAM accessories for gripping an iPad or iPhone are ingenious. Realtor in Pennsylvania - previously stood on 9' Ladder for front on Home Photos and I was always looking for a better technique - Photomast gives Much better results of Front of Home Photo required for MLS - (and don't have to carry ladder around) We are Using Nikon D7100 - 10mm lens - Manual setting. We purchased a Bubble Level that is taped to photo mast to glance at to see "bubble" is in center. Also. purchased velcro attached "Hoodie" for IPad to control glare. Photomast is Great Product !!!!

I bought recently 6m pole from Photomast to add this option for real estate photography, after few emails exchange with John, from Photomast, a lot of good advice, and fast replies. Now the pole is here with me, in Helsinki, Finland, and the first uses are very satisfying.
It's light, it's easy to handle, it's fast. I already see much more potential use of it for other kind of photography too.
So far I am using it with the wi-fi of my camera and iphone. Very convenient. But I bought the CamRanger too to use it with other (no wifi) cameras.
I can only recommend it, product and service, ( shipping in Europe was fast and perfectly packed too)

Discovered Photomast while searching an alternative for drone photography and I can already tell this product beats a drone on so many levels: no license required, it's up and running within 10 seconds, it's safe and perfect for using it in the middle of big crowds, it's easy (and light) to carry and it's quiet!

In combination with the CamRanger and it's free app, you can control your DSLR settings like iso, focus, aperture, shutter, bracketing and much more from your iPhone, phablet or tablet (except zoom of course), through it's own quick wifi network.

I am really amazed how stable the Photomast is, even in strong winds, with a pretty heavy Canon 5d MKII - 24-70mm f/2.8 L USM combination on top. Easy to hold in one hand, control your settings with the other hand on your connected device which fits in the supplied RAM Mount.

In order to offer low aerial photography to my clients, I went to Photomast more than 12 months ago. The product is very clever designed.

It is designed by a professional photographer who knew what I was missing in my gear 'box.' Once I got a demonstration of my Canon 5D MKII in the air, I was sold. I bought one immediately and I am still very glad I did.

I prefer this system over tripod-systems because of the speed of set up. I would recommend this to any serious (real estate) photographer.
