I've used this company twice, for plumbing. The workman has come promptly, done very good work and communicated well. However, this is what I would expect – this is the most expensive company I have... See more

From start to finish a really easy and efficient experience. Eddy was an excellent Electrician and solved both the problems I had. I would hesitate to recommend.

Quick response (less than 24 hr from my call) at a time of peak demand, the engineer arrived early in the appointment window (saving me a potentially long wait) and he did an excellent job with an air con system that is complex and temperamental.

My experience with Pimlico as a first time customer. Timings are approximate!
12:55 filled in a very straightforward website form for a routine job remaking electrical connections in my loft.
13:05 Pimlico call me back
13:10 Price quoted (reasonable and significantly cheaper than one from another electrician) appointment booked in and payment taken over the phone.
Andrew calls to let me know he’s on the way.
15:40 He arrives. Has everything he needs with him and gets the job done professionally and without fuss.
As someone who used to do the same job I’m a critical reviewer. I was very impressed with Pimlico from start to finish and would use them again without hesitation.

Ben the electrician was great, communicative etc. But here I am 2 weeks later and I still haven't received my electrical safety certificate after being told it would take a couple of days. 2 phone calls during that time when I was told the certificate would be expedited but still nothing.

Soon after the electrician arrived, I was confident that my electricity supply would be reconnected on the correct footing. Electrician was friendly, confident and methodical, Didn't waste one second.

Needed 2 new ceiling lights installed, the first being in a stairwell and not easy to access, the 2nd in the living room and Rory did a great job on both. And we had a great chat too, a great guy and wishing him all the best

Lone females BEWARE! The bathroom is worse after he had spent a day there - before he came I had a damaged shower back board and by the time he left he had upscaled a simple job to the point where both the bath and the shower were out of action: he knew my urgency and deadlines for a new tenant . He changed my roll top bath chrome plugs and chain without asking me for a new modern look that I wouldn’t have bought myself, broke my shower handle, bought the wrong waste trap for my roll top (he spent all day in the bathroom but didn’t realise until just before he’d finished that the bath was too low and needed a specialist piece of kit that I could order next day delivery and he’d come back to fit it - at a price obvs). The whole experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth. One of being taken for granted, a plumber that was more like a salesman on the make for the next job and how much he could make from the job.
I DO NOT recommend single females use them and shame shame on you PP for actively supporting this behaviour. This whole thing has been a farce and cost me a fortune over the bank holiday weekend to fix his mistake.

I would give zero stars if possible because my appliance still is not fixed. I do have to say that the call handlers are very friendly and try to be helpful but their charging policy is not fit for purpose. However as a single teacher who cannot take time off to wait for an engineer I previously found them convenient and flexible for central heating issues. However I booked ( an expensive) visit with a washing machine engineer because my machine was leaking. He made a cursory inspection, did not listen to any of my concerns and said bar tightening the seal for the pump found nothing wrong. My washing machine is still leaking and I have only been able to do very small short washes to minimise the escape of water. When I called Pimlico today the plumber responded that it must be another issue that had occurred since his visit as he found nothing wrong. Pimlico said the only service they could offer me was an assessment of the work done ( which evidently was non existent) and if they felt their work was satisfactory and that the leaking was a ‘new issue’ they would have to charge me for another visit. This is the second time in a year where Pimlico have asked me to pay an additional charge because the issue was not fixed on the first visit. Their guarantee of work done is not fit for purpose and one wonders whether first visits are encourage to be cursory so that new charges can be added. I obviously told Pimlico that I was not prepared to take the risk of another charge, bearing in mind that the engineer was so unsatisfactory. I have asked another company to come and look but quite frankly I am at the point where it might just be easier to order a new washing machine ( despite the current one being less than 4 years old and an expensive brand). I am totally disgusted with Pimlico Plumbers and their disingenuous engineers.
