The quote was a good price with a good level of cover. A little disappointing that you only get an email of the documents with no hard copy option. As with all insurance companies you don't know how good they really are until you make a claim, I can't comment on that.

Avoid at All Costs - Scam Tactics and Unauthorised Charges
I strongly advise everyone to avoid this company. I suspect they are a scam, preying on vulnerable consumers. Many others have shared similar experiences, which seems to be a recurring pattern.
I had breakdown cover with them and received no reminders before being charged for another year on the renewal date. I cancelled immediately, but was quoted a £7 cancellation fee, despite any cooling-off period. Three days later, while I was asleep, I received an email at 6 am stating I had renewed the policy again, this time using details from a different current account. This is particularly concerning as my bank had already blocked further charges after I reported the first unauthorised transaction.
I had to cancel this second, uninitiated policy and was again subjected to a cancellation fee. It is clear to me that this company employs deceptive tactics to charge people, especially those who may be unaware or vulnerable.
Furthermore, I noticed their website features reviews that appear to be fabricated. The photos for "Lucy" and "Tom" are identical images of the same male model.
On one occasion, I asked if they could assist with jump-starting my car battery on the day it was due for its MOT, but they refused, stating the MOT had just run out.
Do not purchase any insurance from them if you wish to avoid being conned.

We are sorry to hear that you remain dissatisfied with the outcome of our investigation.
Having thoroughly reviewed the matter, we found that two separate policies were active on your account. One policy renewed in accordance with the renewal terms and documentation issued prior to renewal, while a second policy was purchased separately and remained independent of the existing cover. Purchasing a new policy does not automatically cancel or replace an existing policy.
Due to there being two policies in place, renewal terms for both were both forwarded and delivered to the email address on each policy, s the dates for both policies differed plus, a different payment card used for each policy, the payments were taken at different times, using the card on file for each policy.
We take allegations regarding unauthorised charges and misleading business practices extremely seriously. Following our investigation, we found that the policies were administered in line with the terms and conditions and the communications issued at the time. We did not identify any error on our part.
As this is a public forum, we are unable to discuss the specific details of your account further. However, if you would like to discuss the matter again, please contact our Customer Relations Team directly.

Very easy to arrange cover. Price will always be a deciding factor,but, what is covered is also a factor. Of course, the biggest decider is how good the company is if a claim is made. Hopefully i will never find out but if i do!!!!!

Ping was the cheapest Gap Insurance quote and the on boarding process was seamless. Contract documents were received timely by email after payment. Hopefully I'll never have to make a claim but if I do I would hope the claims process is seamless as well.
