Bad phone case & print quality.
Ordered a customised phone case and the quality of the transparent case but also the print quality was really bad. Super disappointing. Customer service agreed that it wasn’t because of my image quality so I did get a refund but still was a waste of effort :(

Thanks to Pixum for many years printing multiple albums with great success.
Several years printing multiple albums with Pixum. The results have always been very positive and a pleasure to work on thanks to the intuitive software and a joy to look back on the finished product every time. The service has always been excellent, highly professional and efficient with rapid delivery and response in case of questions. This year the delivery was incredibly fast and arrived Intime for Christmas even though we were late to order.
I would highly recommend anyone wishing to make photo books to use Pixums excellent service!

Delivery was very late
Delivery was very late (due to the delivery company) which was only noticed after letting them know about it. Then it finally got delivered... No reimbursement or excuse when I informed them it was too late for the intended present now (which I had planned several days as a buffer in case delivery is a little later.... ut not THAT late)

Excellent
The good:
- Print is nuclear excellent from the quality perspective. Absolutely top!
- PayPal works great
- Delivery on time without problems
The bad:
- the Web user interface. No way to change the background (or at least no idea how to). Simply clicking on it doesn't help.
- Pictures cannot be scaled keeping the same frame width, say picture is tall and cropped, so I want to scale it to fit the frame and fill the rest with my preferred background.
- Sloppy and slow. So desktop app is probably better, if it would work at all (see below)
The ugly:
- the desktop software simply fails on Linux Ubuntu 20.04 LTS though. It starts fine, but then doesn't really work, e.g. creating an album is not possible: blank white screen. The fonts in the app are microscopic.
- The installation of the app is... ahhhh!! aaaahhh!!! aaaaahhh!!! who does this!!! Jesus!! Maria!! Use AppImage to package it once for all, this is 21st century already! — appimage.org
