Volunteering in Cusco, Peru was an incredible experience! Everything was very well organized in terms of accommodation, orientation, and my assignment teaching.

Incredible experience
It was a wonderful experience. The kids really love when volunteers come, I did Programa Colibri and it was a great opportunity to practice my Spanish and help out the community!
Had an amazing time, learned a lot at my volunteer site and got to meet nice people from all around the globe
One of the best experiences I've ever had!
My medical placement in one of the clinics in Cusco was my best volunteering experience so far. It was well organized, the staff was very likeable and helpful. Furthermore, doctors were very friendly, informative, happy to explain things and let me do basic tasks. As for my host family, they were very welcoming, nice and I got on really well with them. Thanks to them I also greatly improved my Spanish.
Wow. What an amazing 3 months in Peru. I had the time of my life. I had the most amazing experiences and opportunities and met the most incredible people. I can not praise PMGY enough. The local staff in Peru are wonderful and do all they can to help you. They are an amazing source of knowledge of the country the culture the people and the projects. I loved living with my host family I was so sad to leave. The teaching project was incredible. The children were so keen to learn but also taught me so much. I would recommended this experience to any one. No matter what your age. If you have just finished school or uni or having a career break like me seriously think about volunteering through PMGY. Thank you to the UK team for all your support.
Brilliant experience, had a great split with free time and managed to see all of the places I wanted to as well as well as having a great time on the PMGY programme!
The best service and the projects were very good. A tad more organisation could be done
My overall experience as a volunteer in Peru was very nice. I met diferente people who I became good friends with. I travelled a lot. I learned a lot with my experience living in Cusco and as a volunteer, which made me reflect about different things. The country is incridible, rich in culture and the people are very welcoming and nice. It was for sure an unforgetable experience.
