Had a boiler fitted last August. Today tried to organise a 1 year service to find they no longer exist. Rang Valiant who sent a engineer to do it. Was told it cannot be done as dangerous, they did not a compliant flue and used the original Worcester Bosch flue. Now have to pay to get a new flue fitted before Valiant will do a service. 2 pensioners who can ill afford more payouts. Angry is the understatement.🤬🤬

PlumbProud are nothing more than a bunch of cowboys. Never turned up when they said they would, sent junior apprentices out on their own, waste pipes not connected under floorboards, wrong boiler installed (not enough capacity),... the list is endless. It's 2 years after they "finished" the job and we are having new issues crop up almost weekly. When we call them, they refuse to come out and investigate. We've had to re-do a lot of stuff with new plumbers.
Service problems
Plumbproud fitted my new boiler last year, l took the service plan out with them and now it's due service, but l have rang them and emailed but cant get an answer l think they've gone bust, as anybody else had this trouble

I hired Plumbproud to install a boiler on 24/10/2022, but I had a disappointing experience with their service. After the installation, I discovered that one of my radiators was blocked, which they failed to inform me about. To make matters worse, they marked the job as completed and took the final payment. When I contacted them about the issue, they insisted that since they had installed the boiler, their job was done.
This lack of responsibility and communication left me with cold radiators and a bitter taste in my mouth. I strongly advise others to avoid using this company for any plumbing work, as their attitude towards customer satisfaction is far from ideal.

Absolutely terrible Cowboys from start to finish and they have changed all their phone numbers so existing customers who pay the service plan can’t get in contact with them. I’ve been paying my service plan for 12 months. No one is called to arrange a service on the boiler and I can’t get in contact with them and their emails bounced back as undelivered.
poor aftercare
the rep came out and we chose plumbproud, he promised good service and aftercare , which included 2 services over the next two years , first service was ok, second year they said their serviceman would call, that never happened then i tried to contact them and the messege said , not taking any calls to busy
bad communication/survey
bad experience from start to finish, The hall carpet was damaged with a black water spill, and after fitting the boiler they disconnected both my showers as they said they were not compatible with this boiler,then that evening we had to call out the gas board as there was a major gas leak and we had to evacuate the house until safe,2 hours later with the gas turned off the fitters came back next day and fixed the problem, the communicating with the manager and surveyor was full of promises but did nothing. and I still have no showers to this day so NO i would never recommend plumb proud. Their surveyor got it wrong and the manager was less than helpful with promises of connecting one of my showers but this never happened, VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS COMPANY

I had quite high hopes for Plumb Proud after reading reviews here and when they supplied a very competitive quote I booked my new boiler install with them.
I explained to the sales team that I had already been quoted by another company and they had specified the job would take 2 days as I was having the new boiler installed in a new location.I provided relevant information about the tools and equipment they had said they would need. I also provided photos.
The sale team said it would only take them one day, and were pleased to be able to accommodate.
The first time the installer visited (he was late and hadn’t called ahead so I had needed to call and check he was coming) he initially said he couldn’t even do the job. But after some further investigation agreed it could be done but not in one day, finally he relented he could do in one day but not this day as he didn’t have the necessary tools or equipment!
When he returned to do the job (late again) he did complete the boiler install in a day but didn’t have time to finish (the boiler was to be located inside a kitchen cupboard and he couldn’t finish putting the cupboard up) so I had to pay someone else to do this at a later date.
I think the engineer did his best based on the job and info he had but clearly the sales team and install team have communication issues.
I think if you are having a straightforward boiler install then Plumb Proud are professional and value for money. If you are having anything more complex be prepared for possible issues.

I have been waiting for 2 months for a refund due to not completing the contract. It states refund will be actioned 5-7 days.

If you use these guys after reading these reviews then you only have yourself to blame.
Ordered a boiler from them, they then fitted it after so many delays, 5 weeks later its installed but with so many issues, water leaks started appearing, tried contacting plumbproud but they kept ignoring my calls bit when I call of a different number they answer straight away...funny that, eventually spoke with Sam who didn't even admit to their faults, the arrogance of him is unbelievable, he said he will get someone around to sort it, they never turned up, so I got the manufacturer out to have a look, apart from the water leaks they found gas leaks, problems with the flue and something about gas pressure being too low. They also said water quality in the system is poor as not been cleaned and no chemicals in the system which was supposed to be done as I paid for it. Anyway I've had to get a local engineer in to sort out the problems at my expense. Wish I never contacted plumbproud proud. They are still avoiding my calls and emails

They took 2 different eng to install boiler as first eng came from Midlands trav to West Sussex he could not install in time next day eng from Kent turned up who finished job.
The installation was very noisy after he left tried ringing

Also eng did not leave a gas safe cert

Bolier installation not happened need urgent call
I was supposed to have my boiler installed yesterday and no one arrived and no call was made. I have tried several times to call you and play music. I have waited on 3 occasions ( 1 occasion 1 hour 30 mins). I spoke to Emily who organised the installation. She said she would call her boss and contact me. But still, no contact has been made. I am very disappointed and have been very upset over the whole situation. I am still waiting can someone call me with an update, please

Proper scammers. I’m qualified gas engineer and done a boiler installation nearly two months ago and still not been paid yet! I was lied numerous occasions.
Not answering my calls or email at all! Previously added poor review and they contacted me with excuses and made no actual effort to pay.
They ALSO USE UNQUALIFIED ENGINEERS TO DO GAS WORKS.
Gas engineers and customers if you want to be ripped off then choose plumbscamers.
will never work for them again.

We have recently been engaged by Plumbproud Limited of Suite 4A, The Hayloft, Blakenhall Park, Barr Lane, Barton Under Needwood, Butroy Upon Trent, Staffordshire, DE13 8AJ. Please kindly note our instructions and refer to this office for any enquiries relating to our Client. Enclosed is a signed letter of authority for your records.
We are a business advisory firm, specialising in the financial recovery and turnaround of SME’s throughout the UK.
