Today, I contacted the Police Mutual team looking to continue my existing home insurance while going through the process of moving home.

Paul was really helpful, explaining the process and answering my queries.

Additionally, Paul offered to provide a quote for vehicle insurance at the new address. This was a bonus and will be helpful in the long term too.

Thanks to Paul for his genuine customer service; today's phone call has been productive and straight forward. If only more elements of moving home were so simple!

I had left my renewal to the last minute but Sue Stott was friendly and helpful and managed to negotiate a price reduction for me as it had shot up, not least because I have a new car.
Lesson learnt, compare prices earlier to avoid panic, really wanted to stay with police mutual as nightmare about 4 years when I went to another insurance, well known name but didn't realise online only. NO customer service at all unlike Police mutual, Sue offered excellent customer service.

I spoke with Susan Stott today and she was professional, helpful and efficient. She helped me update my car insurance policy and I'm very happy with the experience. Please pass my thanks on to her.

I laboured under the impression that Police Mutual operated for the benefit of it's members rather than shareholders? Having been sold to Royal London in 2020, and then further sold the general insurance and heathcare portion to Bspoke Group in March 2024.
Bspoke increased turnover to £13.35M, an increase of £8.18M to 30 March 2024, and had Cash in Bank of £7.26M an increase of £4.13M in the same period.
Don't believe the PMAS you once knew are the same beast, its quite a different company with hungry shareholders to satisfy (though not publicly listed). The Company has recently been acquired again by Aon, the second largest insurance company in the world! So a far cry from the PMAS who looks after it's members and not shareholders.........

Fast, experienced operative friendly staff.

Have long been associated with Police Mutual for both home and vehicle insurance. Needed to change my vehicle details today and spoke to Keith. An anticipated increase in premium was arranged until renewal date and the remainder of the change over completed. Immediate emails in order that items like the certificate would be available immediately. Great work by Keith who was pleasant, efficient with a great customer focussed approach. Be back for renewal later this year

The police Mutual website was easy to use. The quote I got for car insurance was very good. I had no hesitation in accepting the quote. I would recommend Police Mutual services.

Needed to ring and sort out my Dad's breakdown cover. Susan Stott was so helpful. We sorted everything out and it was so easy. This is the second time I've dealt with the company this year and each time the customer service has been brilliant. Didn't wait long either to have my call answered. Will use again.

I contacted PMAS today with regards to home insurance I spoke to a call handler by the mane of Rebecca who was very helpful and was able to resolve my query.

What a fantastic experience, professional and really put the customer at the centre of their enquiry. I spent time with Sue she sorted through all my quotes then found me an amazing deal. They do really try to help which is such a breadth of fresh air when trying to sort car insurance. I was trying to put my 19 year old son on my insurance as he had just passed his test. All other companies were giving me outrageously high quotes but Sue managed to really surprise me with this amazing overall quote. So thanks team Police Mutual for all your help. Xx
