UPDATE:
Have used the ATOM SE alongside the long Italian coast, intended to check the signal reach. Did it several times. My phone was in the Flight Mode, i.e. no GPS signal interference.
Still, at a distance of 320-350 m the drone started loosing the signal and returned back.
This is an order of magnitude shorter distance than being advertised by Potensic. If it were 2 km instead of 4 km as Potensic claims, I would understand that - they may have used the ideal conditions, etc. But the difference between 350 m and 4 km is way too big.
Why did Potensic deliberately make that claim which is so far from reality?
As to the battery performance, it is perfect - 30 minutes per one battery, even in windy conditions in the sport mode. Impressive!

I have bought a second hand ATOM SE recently. Although it lacks some features of the pricier models of Potensic, I am very impressed by the flight capabilities of the unit. It withstands very well the high winds on the Holland's landscape. The flight and the translated image are steady and the unit responds very quickly even at more than 0,3 km distance away from the controller.
The batteries perform well and almost get to the 30 min of flight duration, just a bit less, maybe due to the wind conditions. Though in my first flight it was about the half of that level. I was a bit embarrassed until I have read the manual which says that while inactive the battery discharges itself to the lower levels to protect the cells from degrading. That's a great feature!
Now planning to test my ATOM SE along the long Italian coast to get a real feeling of the maximum control distance. Will report later on that.
If the other models of Potensic have the same flight capabilities as this one, my next purchase will be that of Potensic higher end pieces.

Why don't you make longer remote to phone cables and mounts for tablets? tablets or mini tablets would be great for older people like me

I was flying ATOM 3-A (my code for 3 axis gimbal) today and before takeoff there was an extended wait for a software update to load & install.(worry about batteries draining!) So I used the time to complete some yard cleaning work and back in the air I went. No problems except I forgot I needed to reset my safety parameters & on screen data feature as they were before. So I was surprised when "reached your distance limit" sounded suddenly! But otherwise my trip went normally & safely back home!

I purchased an atom 2 through potensic website as well as the potensic care.
I don't have anything negative to say about this drone! It is excellent. Picture and video quality is outstanding the range is incredible. The drone is very easy to get set up and in the air..
One month in I had an issue with the power button on the remote control potensic immediately addressed my concern and have notified me of a replacement being shipped at no cost.

I bought the atom SE from the refurbished page. It arrived in good condition and with everything except the extra propellers weren't the right kind. They sent me new ones quickly.

The drone is fun. I've only played around with it at the park and around my house. Nothing too extreme or fancy but for a first drone almost half off, it's a great deal. My 8yo daughter was able to use it relatively easily.

I had an issue with my drone after a small crash. The gimbal had a broken bracket and began to be unstable. I wrote Potensic and explained the problem. I immediately received a response and proceeded as indicated. I sent the faulty drone, and in less than two weeks, I received the new one, using their Care service. It worked perfectly. I am very thankful!

Easy to find the product, to order and to pa.

The product arrived very quickly, within a few days actually. The system came with a full set of all the necessary accessories including multiple sets of rotor blades, interface cables for any user input device you might have, three batteries and a mass charger, and it was very simple to get airborne. Considerably simpler than other similar products I have tried previously, including "Big D" stuff at a somewhat higher price.

One reason in particular that I chose this product was the unique way the user input device is integrated into the controller, between the sticks rather than above. I have not seen this elsewhere but I really like it. Not only is the controller better balanced, easier to use, and less likely to get dropped, it also doesn't attract a lot of attention. It gives the idle passer by the impression of a portable game system rather than saying, "Warning Will Robinson! A drone is nearby!"

Both the software and the controller have the minimum necessary buttons and features which flattens the initial learning curve and lessens the requirement to remain proficient between uses. This drone does exactly what I need, the way I need it done, without a lot of apparent system complexity. In comparison to another similarly priced drone I purchased previously this drone is especially good at and smooth in hand flown video work. Starting and stopping motion to a GPS hold can be done very smoothly and gracefully, unlike the other product I have which lurches to start and lurches to a stop. I'm well pleased with this purchase.

I have not had a chance to fly the drone from Potensic yet, so I cannot comment on that. My review is regarding customer service.

I made a mistake when ordering my drone, and ordered the wrong one. I didn’t notice until the drone arrived and I opened and realized it was the wrong drone. When I emailed customer service, they were great to work with. Very responsive and gave me a few options. They were also generous and polite. In the end, I was very satisfied with the resolution. I would not hesitate to do business with Potensic again.

The drone is nice, except I was upset to find out that there was no waypoint mapping built in like there is on the atom se. Of course the atom se does not have remote Id so that was also a problem. The atom se I returned, the return process is horrible, 30 days and I'm still waiting for my refund.

Potensic modified my order for me after I had placed it, before it shipped, and only made me pay the difference in the upgrade price. Very happy with their customer service!

This is my first drone and Im very happy with my purchase. Shipping took a little longer than expected, but the Atom 2 is great. very easy to fly and the video quality is fantastic.
