I've just received my replacement controller via the warranty took about 3 weeks to come.
Terrible service and product. I have now been waiting 5-6 months for a replacement Fusion controller due to mine breaking within a month ( RB and RT not working ) Customer service is the worst Ive ever experinced. I have 4 PowerA controllers in the house and two of them have started to have simialr problems. I will never again spend any money with them and do my best to make sure friends and family dont.
I had this Power A “pro fusion” for 2 months then the R trigger snapped off mid game. I thought no troubles it has a warranty so I will just go through the process of getting a replacement. In the meantime I purchased another power a controller so I could continue to play games on my Xbox.
Power A said they would send me out a replacement controller, they never did send me a controller and the replacement controller I bought also broke within two months.
So I have requested a complaints process through the customer services process (via email only) as no contact number for this company.
It transpires they don’t have a complaints process and they also don’t believe in updating you about what’s going on as I have chased them many times but 3 months later and nothing from power A not even a courtesy email with an update.
I honestly felt compelled to right this review so other consumers don’t get scammed by Power A.
they purposefully sell controllers with unusually shaped charging ports so that you have to order another replacement cable from only them.. kinda like what apple does with their chargers..
Have had 2 of their controllers not bad for the price both developed faults within 6 months and were unusable within a year though i am a heavy user.
Asked for another controller as the one I got had button A and X that were getting stuck a lot.
They initially said they'd send me a replacement (as It's my right). Then I waited for over a month and decided to ask. No reply. I then carried on asking a few more times and got ignored.
Customer service 0/5. I will keep bothering just because. But I will look to buy from another company. Good riddance.
i ordered an item that was listed in stock on the website. i paid 35 bucks for next day air. order was made on a tues. today is thursday and my order is still proccessing. i have emailed them twice with no reply. tomorrow i am going to dispute the charges with my cc company.
I ordered 2 controllers from their official website and got 1. After a series of emails to prove I did only get one, they sent me a defective one, and now I'm still waiting for the defective controller's replacement which is being held at customs due to the price listed on the receipt as 0.01$. The only way to release it from customs is if PowerA would provide an acceptable receipt, which they don't seem to have. from that point on, any email\request I sent was ignored/marked as solved. Could you imagine? absolutely DISGUSTING move. DISGUSTING customer service. I had a horrible experience with them
I bought their XBOX enhanced wired controller in November of 2018, and I have been very pleased with it. However the LB/RB has broken. Having taken it apart it's just a plastic piece ( A long connector with buttons at either end).
It seems to me that it's a part that would be subject to failure so I felt sure that I would be able to buy a replacement part. Sadly not. I have searched the internet and have found nobody that supplies parts for this controller. Given that we're all meant to be saving the planet, that was a surprise to me.
Remember that this is an inexpensive piece of plastic.
I contacted their support, who were not able to help.
They say that they do not supply parts and that they cannot direct me to anybody that could supply spare parts. Their suggestion was to take it to a local "repair" shop. Not too sure how they thought that might help as I was unable to source spare parts anywhere on the internet so I'm sure a shop would have the same problem.
Other controllers (e.g. Microsoft) seem to have many outlets that sell spare parts.
Anyhow, I won't be buying anything else from PowerA.
For anybody else that has the same problem with this controller, you can program the AGL/AGR buttons to replace the functions of the LB/RB buttons.
Which means the controller is still usable, until the next component failure.
Bought one, the left stick doesn't work. Costumer service refuses to help. I even said please!
Bought my grandson aa xbox controller from Power A and it did not work on arrival. Now have to go through the hassle of sending it back to GAME. :-(
Not a great experience. Horrible customer service. I sent an email to them and asked them to cancel a preorder. They replied and said they canclled it. About 3 months later i get a 117 charge for no reason, i didnt order from them after the preorder. Sent an email, takes them 3-4 days to reply. And they said they cancelled it. Then 1 week later they charged me again for 63$, thats the item i preordered. So i guess they didnt cancel anything. They took my money and they didnt send anything. Awesome company. Fraud and stealing. PowerA sucks.
Spectra controller broke earlier this year a couple months after it was given to me as a gift. I requested a warranty replacement in April and have followed up almost every month since, and the same response I keep getting is that they're out of stock and will send a replacement as soon as it's available.
In the meantime I've watched this same controller go out of stock and back in stock on Amazon three times since my original request (because I was considering just buying a new one instead of waiting). Six months is an unreasonable length of time to wait for a warranty replacement, especially when the original timeline given was 2-3 weeks. I'd include screenshots of my customer support interactions but TrustPilot doesn't allow photos in these reviews. Their customer support staff is perfectly professional anyway; my beef isn't with them, they've responded quickly and politely every time I've reached out.
Controller worked great while I had it, but it didn't last long and this protracted warranty process has soured my opinion of the company completely. Don't bother buying a product from them if you don't want to be forced to buy a new one when it breaks under warranty.
Decent company my switch controller failed just under a year I emailed them took about 2-3 months to get back ad they told me to pick a controller from the site simple man.
The controller would be really good apart from the fact there is a design/mechanism fault with the left analogue stick. When you’re dependent on that function to sprint in many games it can leave you really vulnerable in games. Despite many attempts to contact PowerA i have never received the courtesy of a response to any of my correspondence. Their customer service deserves 0 stars.
Good quality products, the after care and extended warranty is by far the best from any company I've bought gaming products from, my sons controller (xbox1) broke, within 3 emails I was told a new one would be sent, 2 weeks later and it here, cannot fault this customer service
Very sustainable controllers, easy to use and setup and last a very long time for the money given. Nice feel too, could be better such as trigger feeling, and bumper sensitivity decreased but defo worth the money! Cool looking skins on the controllers too
“Enhanced” wireless controller for Nintendo switch
Analog stick became glitchy after around 10 hours use, cheap hardware you get more life out of the low price Chinese replicas on ebay, it also requires AA batteries (not included) to work or if you go for rechargeable AA and buy a charger to go with them, it adds up to pretty much the same price as the official Nintendo switch pro controller which is rechargeable by default!
My point being...go for an official Nintendo pro controller and save yourself a headache.
