I don't know how I cannot give 0 stars

I don't know how I cannot give 0 stars. Not a great process. Trying to redeem my cards has proven to be unsuccessful. I was able to verify my identity. They sent a link to choose how to redeem my cards (virtual or physical). Kept clicking virtual and nothing would happen, I kept coming back to the link and it's just a waste of time. Fortunately it was only £15 unlike some other reviews in here but still...

Stolen $825

I had an incredibly frustrating experience speaking with Niki. He was unwilling to help with a resolution, but continued to repeat that there was "nothing [they] could do." I asked him to treat me like a family member or friend and attempt to assist me. I requested to speak with his supervisor, and he said they were on another call. I said I would wait. Niki said that would not be allowed. I said I was fine to wait to get a resolution. Niki then would not speak to me for three-minutes. I repeated that I was okay waiting to speak with a supervisor every 20-seconds. Niki would not respond, but the call was connected. Seeing as we weren't getting anywhere, I called the "support" number again and merged the calls. Niki immediately hung up. When I went through the automated system to speak with a live agent. Guess who I got? Niki. And he was again unwilling to help with a resolution. I provided my contact number, and asked him to repeat it back to me for confirmation. I asked when I could expect a call back. He said he did not know. I asked for the name of the person I could expect a call back from. Niki said, "my supervisor." Based on my two previous negative interactions with Niki I believe I was justified in being skeptical. Niki validated my suspicion that he would be unwilling to help by stating he “couldn't provide this information.” While I have very low expectations that this will be resolved, I would NOT recommend Prepaid Digital Solutions. I have two cards worth $825 that I never received and they claimed both cards are expired. I feel this company stole from me as they are unwilling to come to any solution. I would encourage those with authority to investigate their unethical business practices. It's shameful the way they are treating “customers.”

Deserves less than 1 star

My experience with this company comes from downloading an app, playing games and redeeming a prepaid mastercard.

In the notes before selecting my mastercard I see "ID verification might be needed". Which is no problem for me.

I get a link to this website to verify my ID and recieve my card. BUT it said "ID verification failed, you will recieve a mail with further instructions".
And Indeed, I recieved a mail from them, asking to verify my ID (again), AND give them proof of address.

First part, no problem.. But address? Why?
Problem is, I just moved in with my significant other in another country,
my name is not on ANY papers yet so I can't send them proof of my address,
other than a piece of paper I recieved, but apparently it wasn't enough.
So I told them I can't send proof. Automatic robot responses every single time,
no matter how you rephrase the mail.

So I've given up. They can keep their 5€. But it makes me wonder how they keep their books clean with so many apparent cases where they literally trick people with the "blurry ID" thing.

If you wonder which app uses this company to provide rewards, look at my other new review.

And lastly. Avoid this company at all costs.

I participated in a survey and chose a…

I participated in a survey and chose a virtual Mastercard as a reward. Big mistake. My digital wallet won't accept it, so I can't use it for non online shopping payments. As someone from Europe, I didn't want to call a, from my point of view, expensive american phone number to contact Mastercard in the US (and as you can see, my English isn't fluent). My German Hotline number couldn't help me at all, because the very existence of a virtual Mastercard was something the customers service hadn't heard of.
Great (sarcasm). The last thing before calling it a scam was, trying to buy something online. I "played" it through to the point, where the system at Amazon seemed to accept the payment by my virtual mastercard. Okay, so far so good. I didn't finish the purchase. Maybe online purchases will work with that card, but I am not happy about the situation. The time and energy I wasted.....not a happy camper.

Well, Amazon accepted it.

Wish I could give a zero

Wish I could give a zero. None of their rebate cards work. I have tried multiple sites and even in person. Card is declined for fraud even with their site up showing my identity. These people are crooks and cards suck. Even with Visa logo declined. Visa should pull their bin!!!

Worst company I've ever dealt with.

I dont think I've ever dealt with a worse company. I got a prepaid card for 130AUD and I was asked to provide some form of ID. Sent in a picture of my passport and they "failed to verify it". Now they have no record of me or my name or email and every time I email or call they ask for a token that was never given to me or is only given after you verify your ID. It has been a month of receiving the same auto-generated email and the worst over-the-phone customer service I have ever experienced.

It's so bad it looks like a scam

I have tried to use this card several times, in the UK, and it has always been declined (for example, at Boots.com). After being declined so many times, the card eventually expires. To be able to extend the expiricy date, they will take USD 12.95 from the card, for an extra few months. The card will still be useless. I'm assuming they will take USD 12.95 every time until I run out of funds.

Utterly useless

Why on earth Mastercard would choose to associate themselves with such a cowboy company is beyond me. The card isn't accepted by any retailers. I've asked their customer services to provide me a list of retailers that do accept this payment method, however they seem unable to do so.

Beware Complete Scam Outfit!!

I was given a £100 GBP eGift from a supplier and it turned out to be in the form of a Pre-Paid Mastercard provided by Prepaiddigitalsolutions.com.

Like the other reviewers my card is totally useless as I cannot use it anywhere, I tried on Amazon for a small transaction of £3.93 and it rejected and on the Prepaid Digital Solutions platform when I logged in it stated "Transaction Blocking"

I managed to get hold of someone on chat support after a few days of trying to reach someone in customer service who stated to wait 3 days and use again and it would work. I did this and it blocked the transaction again, so I waited another 3 business days and then tried to add to my Google Wallet and it did exactly the same stating "Transaction Blocking"

I have used pre-paid cards before and never had this issue and I am now convinced its a scam. They charge monthly fees after 30 days, so its obvious that like many people who have gift cards/pre-paid mastercards provided by this company which are effectively unusable they simply bill monthly charges until all the funds have been debited into their company coffers by way of charges.

Beware this company is running what appears to be a total scam operation, no viable customer service exists, emails never answered and moreover no resolution to the fact that the cards are unusable.

I am absolutely amazed that Mastercard would associate themselves with such an unscrupulous business like this as there is clearly something illegal happening here with the retention of customers funds on gift cards and pre-paid credit cards.

A Trust Pilot rating of 1.4 says it all as I don't think I have ever seen such a poor rating for any business.

Stay away from these scammers!

Horrible company. Scammers

Horrible. Made me provide endless documentation of who I am. Failed to review it properly and authorize the release of the card. Then I used it on Amazon and it was rejected. Then they made me wait 30 days to get the funds back on my card. This is a digital world. Taking 30 days is clearly just a way for them to hold and use owner funds interest free. TOTAL SCAM!!! And should be illegal.

£500 Virtual Card declined and no response from company

I have a £500 Cashback virtual card that is due to expire end of Nov 23 but cannot use or access it. I contacted prepaiddigitalsolutions via email (2 Nov 23) and got a reply to say it was frozen as an anti-fraud measure and asked for some account details. I replied with these details but they did not reply back. I have asked several times for an update with no response. I’ve raised 2 new requests via email and each time get an initial ‘we have your request’ response but no follow-up replies with answers to my questions. They appear to be a scam outfit (or have an incompetent customer service department if I am being kind) and I would advise people to avoid at all costs. 3 weeks after my initial contact I still have not had a response. Let’s see if they respond to this and I will update if I get a positive outcome.

Update 1 - 23 Nov 23 - I thought I would resend my email using ‘Customer Success Agent’ as the subject tittle as mentioned in a few replies below. All that happens is an automated reply with a link to the online contact form on their website. Interestingly the reply also says the ‘service@’ email address is unmonitored despite that being the address they asked me to reply to initially. Something fishy here….

Have honestly never had a major issue

I was quite surprised to see that the reviews were so low rated. I have been using prepaiddigitalsolutions and their virtual Mastercards for about 2 years and haven’t had any major issues.

It took me a while to get used to the wallet system but now that I’m familiar with it, I find it easy to navigate.

I also had an issue recently with my card being blocked by a retailer and customer service were really helpful and it was sorted within a few days.

Of course I can only speak from my own experience but overall, I am happy with their service and will continue to use it.

I would rate them "0" stars if I could. Very shady and uncaring business.

I would rate them "0" stars if I could. Gift cards expired within 6 months of the issue - which I have never encountered elsewhere. I went to use a very sizeable amount of gift card value and was told they expired. After contacting customer service, they immediately said there was nothing they could do to help. They absolutely didn't care and didn't even try. I would never use this company and highly recommend others avoid using them at all costs. Clearly, they kept the company/sponsor's significant investment for themselves.
