We have recently had an orangery built by Prime Oak to replace the 30 year old wooden conservatory that we actually built ourselves. My husband in particular was anxious about not being in total control of the build. However we need not have worried as the whole team were amazing from start to finish including all the administrative staff. It was so easy to get in touch and we were reassured the whole way. The build team Simon and Richard were wonderful, friendly and approachable. They were always prompt and worked so hard. We were sorry to see them go. Tim Griffiths also needs a special mention as he was always at the end of the phone to have a chat if my husband was concerned about anything. We have recently moved the furniture back into the room which is now a permanent extension to our living area. I have told so many people how impressed we have been with Prime Oak and I have no trouble at all recommending them. We are now so pleased with the end result we can't wait to start spending time in there. Thank you Prime Oak.

I never normally write reviews on the basis that something can still go wrong years later. So...seven years later after the fitting of our Prime Oak Orangery I have decided to announce that our Orangery is the best thing we have ever done. It is the most used room in the house and we cannot imagine life without it. The reason I'm writing it now is that I just contacted the company for some advice regarding aftercare of the wood. I was treated like a valued and important customer and the follow up advice from the technical dept was very helpful. It dawns on me that every single thing this company did from sales to planning and installation was without fault and I mean really without fault. Never a date or time promise broken, fitters that were fantastic and a finished product that I love as much now as I did on completion day. In seven years I have had not a single problem. I'm now just waiting for the rain to stop to re-oil it. I wouldn't normally even recommend a restaurant to people for fear of giving poor advice but I wouldn't hesitate in recommending these people. Living in a grade 2 listed thatch cottage, we never really expected to be able to extend, but throughout the planning process, the support we got from prime oak was excellent and I’m sure their guidance and expertise played a part in the approval. The building looks amazing and once completed will transform the house and bring it up to the high standard it deserves. Thank you to prime oak for their great work, the engineering, craftsmanship and design are all to a really high standard. Thank you to all who worked on it. The roofers have just left having completed the one small repair, otherwise pretty perfect build! The team were all great to have round the house, worked hard and just got on with it. We appreciated the tips on how to care for the wood and what to use to keep it looking tip-top. Thanks to Nick who was always available and ready to help if we needed him. We appreciated the regular updates from him as to what was happening when and next steps.

We appreciated the quick responses to all our questions and regular updates throughout the project- gives you confidence all is in hand.

I think the only flag would be that prime oak could give the building its first coat of oil or option for the team to do that (doors and windows come with that initial coat). Having said that, I’ve loved putting the oil on, it’s actually a really rewarding task (British weather permitting!).

Really pleased with the outcome of the build. PrimeOak handled the planning process which was a great help, and recommended a good builder who worked closely with them to deliver a smooth build. We are delighted with the result.

Superb job. We are delighted. Workers really cracked on with the work. Just a little surprised that external oak had to be self-painted, and the lantern ceiling had to be finished off by the foundation builder.

Prime Oak have completed a number of buildings for us. All of high quality. We particularly value the design and architects work and we have been impressed by how the team comes back to fix any post build problems, ‘easings’ no questions asked. Two suggestions: firstly a woods treating service and secondly advice on posts and fixings for large barn doors.

We have used Prime Oak a number of times. We looked at lots of companies within the UK and we picked Prime Oak due to its high standard of workmanship and the professional approach from the planning through to installation. Our initial order was at our previous house which was a barn and we purchased French Doors and Windows in our garden room. It absolutely transformed it. We moved a few years later and immediately started planning. We didn’t even look at other companies as we knew that Prime Oak is a quality product. We dropped the back wall of the house and the installers fitted large oak windows and French Doors which look fantastic and it now brings the garden into our lounge. We have recently had a conservatory and porch built as well which complements the whole house. So we are both very pleased with the new look to the house. Finally, I must give all the fitters a mention (along with Tim Griffiths) who have been professional, friendly and nothing has been too much trouble. I have no hesitation in recommending Prime Oak

We have been impressed throughout in our dealings with Prime Oak, and in particular with the quality, fit, finish and appearance of our new garden room.

We have been considering this extension for some years, and looked around comprehensively for a construction partner. Prime Oak stood out for their experience, range and quality of buildings on their show site, and especially in the CGI drawings they put together, which really brought the project to life.

The groundworks specification was very detailed as guidance for that part of the construction (we are left to source this part ourselves). Prime Oak visited to check measurements etc. In due course (in fact a few days earlier than promised) the main frame components arrived, and we watched in fascination as it was fitted together by Rob, who was clearly very experienced and skilled in this task. The quality, complexity and precision was impressive as it went together.

Roofing was also completed by an experienced and very professional team. Glazing followed, and with the largest panels at well over two metres tall, it all fitted perfectly. Rob's answer to my question as what happens if they didn't fit was met with a laconic answer that they usually do .... The doors are worthy of special note, being very substantial and well fitting with heavy bolts top and bottom. The well planned and thick insulation should help to make the space very useable.

Overall, we would highly recommend Prime Oak and would not look anywhere else for any future projects. They were reasonably priced we feel, and the quality and appearance has exceeded our expectations. It is not a large construction, 3m x 4m approx but transforms our living space by connecting the house to the garden. With the high roof there is a terrific feeling of spaciousness and it will become a very well used room and a hugely beneficial addition to our property.

Superb service. Our new double garage with games room and gym on mezzanine was completed on time despite some dodgy weather. Prime Oak worked hard to design a building acceptable to local planning which was not easy as our house is grade 2 listed. The quality of the build is excellent and the guys were hard working and tidy. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering an oak building.

Three years ago we completed a large project that Prime Oak were part of. We find them a very reliable professional company whom I would have no hesitation recommending. We looked at a few different companies with their different designs of orangeries and found Prime Oak to be the most attractive. Such a difference it has made to our property, we love the feeling of bringing the outdoors in and what a difference having the extra space! The team are very easy to work with and nothing is too much trouble. We worked with Mark in sales who gave us a tour showing us how it was all designed and crafted on site before guiding us through the process and Stuart in aftercare who gives attention to the important fine details for us to enjoy. We have been so impressed by the Prime Oak service from start to finish. After seeing an ad in the Sunday papers, we had a design visit booked in really quickly and our designer could not have been more friendly or understand what we wanted any more than he did. The design was fantastic and we booked it in straightaway.

Now our orangery has been built, I can say how beautiful it looks and now simple and impressive the build process was. The team have all been incredibly skilful, polite and clean and properly socially distanced. It has taken no time at all too. The quality of the materials used is outstanding and we could not be more happy with the results and the service.

After doing our research we finally settled on PrimeOak and we never looked back. We have the most delightful Orangery, the oak and the way it’s put together is stunning just a wonderful space to spend time in.
Gary was friendly and professional in his approach to the design and what would work best for us. We chose to go with Prime Oak’s recommended builder and could not have been happier that we did.
I can’t say enough about Alan and his brilliant team at Centurion. From the first to the last day they were professional throughout. His lovely friendly team were great to have around so tidy helpful and such a credit to Alan himself. The communication between ourselves and Alan was first rate...a builder that answers his phone/returns calls...fantastic! We were always kept up to date and any unforeseen issues were sorted out quickly and thoroughly. Alan takes all the stress away from a build with the right care and sense of humour. Prime Oak must be so happy that they have a building team in Centurion that they can rely on and trust so completely.

I was delighted with the quality and service provided. From design stage to completion of my oak orangery I couldn’t have been more impressed with the attention to detail and courteous efficiency. The construction team had to travel a very considerable distance each day and were always here by 8am. Following completion, the follow up and management visit to check the quality of the work and my satisfaction was exemplary. This is a premium company and their products are expensive but there was never a better example of ‘you get what you pay for’. Highly recommended.

We have had a garden room extension added to the back of our 1920s Arts and Crafts house by Primeoak.
The process is managed from design, through planning, to construction of the frame. Local builders and craftsmen as recommended by Prime Oak competed the inside, connected the oak frame to the house. The result is simply fantastic. I cannot recommend Primeoak highly enough.

We were absolutely delighted with the Orangery from Prime Oak, the service was first class from start to finish with everyone involved with the project. The Orangery is the most used room in our home and everyone who visits are amazed at how lovely it looks. It certainly gets the WOW factor from everyone who sees it (and ourselves of course). We would certainly recommend Prime Oak to anyone wanting an Oak room/home, and we have had great pleasure in showing potential customers our Orangery and letting them see the great quality they will get if they purchase from Prime Oak.

The team of fitters were excellent and put the garage up in a day and a half, we are very happy and would recommend to anyone.
