⭐ Very disappointing experience — £95 paid and my car still wasn’t fixed
I visited this garage for the first time because my steering wheel was slightly off-centre while driving. I went to reception and explained that I wanted a wheel alignment and the steering wheel put back to the centre.
I was told alignment started from £45, with a free check first to make sure there were no other problems with the car. I agreed and booked an appointment for a few days later.
I dropped my car off and, after around 15 minutes, I received a call telling me that I needed the front and rear tracking done and that the cost would be £95. I agreed to this.
Later, I was told the car was ready. Because of work, I collected it without immediately checking everything properly. However, I noticed that the steering wheel was still not centred. The next day, I drove on the motorway to make sure, and it was clear that the problem had not been fixed.
I returned to the garage and explained the situation. I was then shown paperwork showing the front and rear tracking. I was particularly concerned because I was told that the front had not actually been adjusted, despite me being charged for front and rear alignment. Another member of staff checked the car details and confirmed that I had been charged for both.
I was then told that there was a problem with the right front inner tie rod/tie rod end and that this needed to be repaired before they could properly complete the alignment. I had to pay £130 at another garage to have this repaired because this garage did not have a mechanic available to do the job.
I then returned to this garage again and left the car with them so they could complete the alignment. Unfortunately, when I collected the car, the steering wheel was still not centred and the car was still pulling to one side.
This is extremely disappointing. I paid £95 for the alignment, then another £130 for a repair elsewhere, and I still have the original problem. If I now have to go to another garage to get the alignment done correctly, I will have to pay again.
I feel that this was unfair and that the service was not completed to the standard I expected. I would strongly recommend checking everything carefully before leaving this garage and making sure the work you have paid for has actually been completed

Had a problem with a screen message referring to 'Wheel sensors not detected ' on my Ford Fiesta 1.0 ecoboost. Tried to reset myself, but still showing the information. Went to Church Road branch in Bristol. Spoke to Chas who without looking at the car immediately knew what the problem was. Within the hour 2 sensors were fitted. Excellent service. Happy with the cost. Very knowledgeable staff.

I came for alignment, they couldn't remove the bolts and told me to go to a garage and when I came back they said they can't get reading in their alignment machine, so they charge me twice for a simple alignment, that's greedy

Under staffed shop. Had an appointment and been delayed 2 hours. would have been nice to give me a call before so I don't have to wait there as I live on other side of city. Staff quite rude.done all 4 tyres and front tracking as got a good online deal and when asked them to do extra the rear tracking been quoted 125£ and he said is taking something off for the waiting. At that price it seem he put some extra.

Extremely helpful because I called in to book a air con re-charge and it was done almost immediately on a while you wait basis.

The staff were very friendly and completed the job very professionally. It did take longer than the estimated 90 minutes but there were only 2 members of staff working on that day.
