Poor Service and No Accountability
I booked an air conditioning regas with Protyre.
During the appointment, I was informed that an error had occurred during the regas process and that the machine had reported a failure on the low-pressure side of the system. I was also told that all of the refrigerant needed to be removed.
I arranged for the vehicle to be inspected elsewhere. I initially received advice that there appeared to be a blockage on the low-pressure side, which was believed to be linked to the failed regas attempt.
When I contacted the Protyre branch to explain the situation and requested that the issue be rectified, I was told that I would need to pay for a further diagnostic assessment. Given that the air conditioning was working before the regas attempt and the fault only appeared during and after the work carried out by Protyre, I found this response unacceptable.
To obtain an independent opinion, I subsequently took the vehicle to an air conditioning specialist for a full diagnostic assessment. Their testing found no fault with the air conditioning system itself. They also advised that they had seen other customers experiencing similar issues following visits to Protyre.
My main concern is not simply that a problem occurred, but that there appeared to be no willingness to investigate or resolve the issue without asking me to incur additional costs. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Protyre for air conditioning servicing.

I just find the guys a pleasure to deal with, very professional, always very accommodating and the prices are awesome.
I arrived on time for my appointment but they didn't start on my car for 35mins and no apology was given for the delay. They were all chatting, laughing, vaping and checking their phones. I took the car and next day a light came on on the dashboard saying there was no pressure on one of the tyres. I checked the tyres and one was reading 39 instead of 32. I rang them but got no reply, I tried again the next morning but still no reply. I therefore rang the Bath branch who answered immediately and were so helpful. I took the car to them and they sorted the problems out at no extra cost. I can't thank them enough. Needless to say I will not be going back to the Chippenham branch again

The tyre fitting process and tyres were efficient and good (2xMichellin P4's). At the end the technician told me two tyre pressure sensors were not working, which I knew. On way home for an appointment checked tyre pressure sensors and all were non-functional. Went back next day and Manager (?) said that the two would be back functional when car next serviced. At service 2-3 months later the garage (Vauxhall) said that the two non-functioning sensors will not reset. Went back to Bathwick and Manager said to fix would cost me £440. I am not happy with Bathwick (Protyres)!

I regularly use Protyre Chippenham. Booked and paid for a replacement tyre online as the price was 10% less than quoted by the branch. Work completed very speedily.
