I had screw in my passenger side tyre, I went to Elite garage first (closest to my house),was a bit rude & not in so many words “tough, we cannot do until Monday!”
So went to Protyre, keeping in mind it was a busy Friday afternoon, within 5 mins the guys had booked my car in & within an hour & 2 complimentary coffees, my car was in the collection area ready to go
Nice chatty, friendly guys with personalities lol
Highly recommend

No problems and great service
Protyre fitted me in the next day and gave me some good advice on what tyre to choose. It did take longer even though I was booked in for a time and it wasn’t kept to but they were busy. I even bought some doughnuts for them.

Good service but expect a wait…
I was booked in for 8.30 but they were so busy that they couldn't get to my car for 45 minutes. Tyre repaired for around £30. They always do a good job, fairly priced, but for this reason are a victim of their own success.
Best to book and be prepared to wait.

Friendly, polite and accommodating staff. Issue with wheel lock key and staff went above and beyond to sort it that day at the lowest cost to me. It was worth the wait. Would recommend as genuine garage.

DON'T BOTHER!
Popped in to Protyre first thing, as i used to with Mid Devon Tyres - Had a puncture. As i started to speak i was met with "you booked in?" I wasn't as i was seeking availability. Next sentence was "Three o'clock". When i tried to establish what three o'clock meant, he repeated him self. I then managed to ask a question - what is three o'clock? I was then advised that as i wasn't booked in, three o'clock was the earliest i would be seen (it was just after 08:30). So, if he had said that at the beginning, that would be fair enough. I then asked if he knew anywhere locally that may be able to help me. Reply, "type tryes in to google". I asked again and added does he know any company names i could look for but alas was met with the same response. Frustrated and fed up i left. Have been coming here, to Mid Devon Tryes for years and never had this.
All i can say is, if any of your KPI's are lack of customer service and / or being as unhelpful as possible, well then you would score 100% (5 stars)
I did find a company called Sowton MOT's, near Screwfix who were extremely helpful. Guess where i will go in future?

Ben was so helpful
Ben was so helpful. Booked a tyre change and wheel alignment but my ordered tyres were not suitable for my car. Ben worked hard to find comparable alternative tyres, got them fitted by the team and wheel alignment all within the time originally stated it would take. Wonderful service, kept up to date and informed as to what was happening and even saved me some money!

I received brilliant service from Pro…
I received brilliant service from Pro tyres Apple Lane branch today. I knew I had a puncture but needed to start work nearby at 6. I couldn't risk taking my car to the work car park as it would have been completely flat by my 8.30 break so I left it on their car park at 5.30 and returned at 8.30 to explain. Obviously it wasn't booked in, and they were short staffed, I had expected it to be all day or even the following day but they managed to fit me in and fix my puncture before I finished work at 2pm. Very helpful and polite, thank you so much.
