I recommend this car repair shop

I recommend this car repair shop. I always have my service and inspections done there. Excellent communication; any additional faults found were quickly resolved after quick phone call to me. The estimate was provided before the repair, and there were no surprises. The parameters before and after the adjustments were also shown. The car was returned on time, and everything was handled pleasantly and efficiently. Professional customer service.

The branch manager was rude

The branch manager was rude, had zero people skills, he spoke to myself and at least 3 other customers whilst I was there bluntly.

We will be back …

I was getting the two front tyres changed on my car. During the removal of my old tyres, one of the valves needed to be cut off the wheel due to corrosion. The valve is the type with a tyre pressure sensor. With the tyre off the wheel and the old valve sensor broken I was quoted £90 for a replacement sensor valve. If I chose to just have an ordinary valve fitted the warning light on the car dashboard would remain on. At this point I really didnt have much choice than go with the new sensor valve at £90 eventhough at the time I thought this was very expensive. Later I checked the retail cost of these sensor valves and they were priced between £45 and £55. I really feel that in the moment when I didnt have any choice I was charged an inflated price for the sensor valve. I wouldnt have minded paying a little bit more but nearly double the retail price is not customer friendly at all. Such a shame because up until that point my customer experience with Protyre had been very good. I have since been contacted by Protyre customer service, they listened to my complaint and offered a very agreeable solution. Sometimes things go wrong and whats important is how a company put it right. Thank you Stacey you did a great job resolving my complaint.

I booked a date but then realised I need to change it so o phoned the centre that I had chosen and asked if I could change the day and yep they could fit me in and phoned when I need extra done to the car to confirm what had to be done and price and was all goo To go .
