I was getting the two front tyres changed on my car. During the removal of my old tyres, one of the valves needed to be cut off the wheel due to corrosion. The valve is the type with a tyre pressure sensor. With the tyre off the wheel and the old valve sensor broken I was quoted £90 for a replacement sensor valve. If I chose to just have an ordinary valve fitted the warning light on the car dashboard would remain on. At this point I really didnt have much choice than go with the new sensor valve at £90 eventhough at the time I thought this was very expensive. Later I checked the retail cost of these sensor valves and they were priced between £45 and £55. I really feel that in the moment when I didnt have any choice I was charged an inflated price for the sensor valve. I wouldnt have minded paying a little bit more but nearly double the retail price is not customer friendly at all. Such a shame because up until that point my customer experience with Protyre had been very good. I have since been contacted by Protyre customer service, they listened to my complaint and offered a very agreeable solution. Sometimes things go wrong and whats important is how a company put it right. Thank you Stacey you did a great job resolving my complaint.

I booked a date but then realised I need to change it so o phoned the centre that I had chosen and asked if I could change the day and yep they could fit me in and phoned when I need extra done to the car to confirm what had to be done and price and was all goo To go .

I have always found Protyre Garage to be thorough, efficient and reliable with pleasant staff.

Arrived just before my appointment time, and pleased they were ready to start the MOT immediately.

A really great experience all round. The staff were polite, helpful and clear - a shout out to Alex, who was just brilliant.

We turned up at Kiplings this morning having got a dead battery over the weekend. We met with Roy working in Reception who advised that they could fit a new battery more or less straight away. We were very pleased with this news and agreed to wait on the premises whilst the work was carried out. We noticed how clean all the areas are and all staff are knowledgeable and helpful. We were offered coffees by the mechanics when they came into Reception which was a nice touch. The work was done at very reasonable cost and we experienced a very friendly and efficient service by Roy and the mechanics.

Got there early and still fitted me in also they found my air con had no gas and asked me if they should carry on as it could be a leak so couldn't find fault with them top guys will definitely be using them again

lack of clear,coherent explanation of problem.
Not able to give me a quote for repairs so my vehicle could pass MOT.
However,after 3 days I spoke to another member of staff who explained things more clearly.

Great service, called me within 2 hours to explain the situation and collected car again in no time at all.

Excellent great friendly service

Great staff. Alex was very helpful and preponed the service date as I was travelling the next week. Provided a list of the issues that needed work and completed full service and MOT all in good time.

Good service, very professional staff

I replaced all 4 tyres. Got a flat tyre within 4 hours. They instantly blamed something else until they had no choice but accepting they sold me a faulty tyre. This got me on the road side at 10pm under the rain. No apology, no gestures. I wrote to customer service, still awaiting for an answer. Never again.

Awful experience , went for a mot mentioned I needed things replacing which were only changed a month ago. Told them to leave it after a failed MOT and was still charged for labour.
Took it to my usual trusted place in kings Langley and cost less than a third of the price that quoted ( 1200 ) please be careful here.

always get 5 star service from these guys,would definitely recommend them for all your car repairs.
