Very helpful to fix a coolant problem. Took a day to diagnose but the mechanics went through all avenues and fixed the problem.

No issues as always. Get the 5 star service I am accustomed to from them.

Used these guys at short notice for an MOT because my usual garage was temporarily closed. There was good availability for the job at short notice with plenty of time slots to choose. MOT started and completed while I waited with free coffee and Wi-Fi in the reception area. Sadly car had a bad tyre cut that was not visible to me due to it being on the inside of the tyre. Fortunately for me the garage had a good range of replacement tyres which were fitted there and then enabling my car to pass the test ready for a long journey the next day. I found the staff friendly and helpful. Price was fair, even for the tyres which I would normally shop around for before buying.

Always try to accommodate you and help out

I had my car MOT'd on the Wednesday, it failed. But it was all fixed and sorted by the Saturday lunchtime. The service I received was superb and I can't fault them at all. Prices were very reasonable as well. I will be back to use them again, but hopefully not too soon!!

Disastrous customer service. Rude duty manager with no manners, short of employee, took just under 2 hour to change four new tyres and front wheel alignment. Not going back again

As a first time customer at this garage I did not know where to park as I couldn’t see the reception sign. I had briefly stopped just before the garage entrance because I was unsure where customers were expected to park. Before I had any reasonable opportunity to check or move, the manager came rushing towards me and addressed me in an aggressive and confrontational manner, stating words to the effect of “park up over there,” while also pointing with his hand to reverse my car to go back. His aggressive behaviour made me feel very uncomfortable, felt unsafe and at one point I felt he was going to kick my car or attack me. As I slowly started to reverse my car he closed the garage entrance with metal chain and as he turned around I heard him say swear words (F*** word).

Later that afternoon, at approximately 4:30pm, I telephoned the tyre shop to raise my concerns. The call was answered by the same individual, who identified himself as person in charge( acting manager).Rather than addressing my complaint professionally, he denied any wrongdoing and instead accused me of almost running him over — an allegation I strongly dispute. I found his response dismissive and further indicative of poor customer service.

I found this behaviour completely unacceptable and highly unprofessional. At no point was I obstructive, nor was I refusing to move my vehicle. I was simply attempting to establish the correct parking arrangements. There is no justification for staff — particularly someone in a managerial position — to speak to customers in such a rude and intimidating way.

This incident reflects very poorly on your business and fell far below the standard of customer service I would reasonably expect. Never going back to this tyre shop again and highly not recommend.

Been using Protyre for years now and they are always excellent! Customer service is always top-notch, they're so nice and helpful and explain everything in detail and make sure I'm happy with everything before I leave. Would highly recommend!

This garage deliberately inflated my bill with completely fabricated parts charges, adding a huge amount that I didn’t owe. When I challenged them, they tried to blame Euro Car Parts—an obvious lie. The overcharging was deliberate, the excuses were dishonest, and their lack of accountability is shocking. Avoid this garage—anyone using them risks being ripped off.
