huge deterioration compared to 10 years ago...
The disconnect between the protyre website and onsite is disappointing and unnecessary: "we can't change the order here, you'll have to cancel online and re-order", "that discount is only available for online orders" etc. the (formerly clean) wheel fitted with a new tyre was now filthy and the wheel and tyre smeared with grease. The tyre was inflated to 42 psi, 6 psi above the rest. Micheldever used to be my go to for tyres... Never again.

Very quick and easy to book online, I did an 8am booking and the staff were very efficient and I was told what time my booking was likely to finish and it was more or less the right time, I had a pair of Tyres done and also the alignment. Saturday the eighth

Poor service ☹️
I had pre-booked a 15.00 appointment to have two new tyres fitted and the tracking checked (I was unable to book the online offer for tracking/adjustment).
I ended up in the queue before being directed to the tracking bay once I reached the front. I had the tracking adjusted as an extra and then waited for the new tyres. After two hours I was able to leave, only to return some 15 minutes later as the steering was badly pulling to the right. I was attended by one guy who decided the front and rear wheels needed swapping. This helped the steering problem but the tyre pressure alarm set off, I checked the pressure when I got home to find the two (new) front tyres had only 20psi, the rears also had issues.
I have used Micheldever for many years with no problems but this was unacceptable service.

Waited ages
I had an appointment at 10 am to have one tyre fitted. Arrived at 9.55 and eventually left at 11.35!! Price was good but one hour and thirty minutes to have one tyre fitted. I won’t be using Protyre again

Annoyingly Slow with a booked appointment
Paid online for the tires and wheel alignment and was given appointment time of 10:30 and was told on the email to be there in good time. I arrived at least 15 mins early. At 10:55 (25 mins after the appointment that they told me to be on time for) I reached the front of the queue at the tires, I was then directed to go around and join the queue for the Wheel Alignment ! Once done the cars that were behind me were then in front. When the car was ready I asked the chap on reception why it had happened and he said "don't know" and looked back down at his screen.
