So following on from last weeks issue

So following on from last weeks issue, you'll note the very prompt and seemingly interested reply from the brand.
However, over a week after a promise that the Area Manager would be in contact.....nothing.
They don't care how their branches operate as long as they scam customers.
Says it all.

The Penrith branch released the car…

The Penrith branch released the car with an identified fault that they did not feel was worth sharing with me!
Took my vehicle in for tracking, was told it was done and charged appropriately.
It was immediately apparent that the vehicle was diving all over the road after the 'repair'.
I returned the vehicle le to be told that the track rod end had failed and they couldn't do the tracking, that would be the tracking I paid for!!!
They also have no technical knowledge about how steering works.
The management have a very severe attitude and also have little technical knowledge.
They've just lost our tyre business for all our businesses.

5 star service…

Placed my order online for 2 new front tyres. They had them in stock and a fitting slot available within the hour.
Turned up at the appointed time and both tyres were fitted immediately - took about 30 mins in total. All in all a very painless exercise.
Pleasant staff. Neat workers and a good price. 5 star service!!

Very happy with the service I got

Unfortunately I was late and they had got the next person in my place. Which is totally fine and wouldn’t expect anything else. They explained why and asked if I could wait. The guy got the tyre out of the boot for me and put it back after. No complaints. All done and dusted in good time. Friendly staff

Always helpful and efficient.

Helpful friendly staff. The receptioist is very good and accomodated last minute changes to my appointments without any fuss, ensuring my car was re-tested the following day. The mechanics are patient and explained aspects of their testing and gave good advice on safety.

Rip off Britain.

The cost of having my winter wheels and tires taken off and my summer wheels and tires put on has skyrocketed. This time last year it cost me £35, then in the autumn it was £50 and then last week it was £76!
Since I posted this review representatives of Protyre contacted me and said a mistake had been made in the pricing. When I go to put my winter wheels and tires back on the car in late autumn they have offered that service for free.
