I had to wait nearly 2 hours for the fitting of 2 new tyres, even though I had a 11am appt, its just not good enough service. the job should have taken about 30 mins. nothing wrong with the fitter or the tyres, just the long wait.

Why bother booking an appointment time
Why bother booking an appointment time? Had to wait two hours for two new tyres and a tracking check… oh, and they forgot to do the tracking check that I pre-paid for.
Said they would refund the tracking cost, which I had to chase up when it hadn’t happened after 16 days.

Helpful staff, resonable prices.
Friendly, helpful staff. Resonably priced tyres. My apppointment to have 2 tyres fitted took 90 minutes which wasn't great. And the tyres were inflated to the wrong pressure so I had to go to a garage myself and correct it as the warning light came on.

A perfect example of good customer service
Front of house made the most fundamental of customer service welcomes - eye contact, smile, hello ! Easy isn't it but often missing. My needs were identified and was passed onto a technician who also was warm and friendly, attended my vehicle to further assess my needs.I was then passed back to FoH who located stock, gave me a price and said they could do it immediately to which I agreed. 1/2 hr later after a couple of complimentary coffees in a pleasant waiting area the car was done. The gentlemen presenting my invoice was equally, friendly pleasant and chatty. In a long winded way what I am saying is "bravo" to my three contacts at Protyre Plymouth - I was in all three interactions made to feel welcome and valued as a customer and left totally satisfied.
