I’m still waiting for the quote they promised to send me the following day. Free brake test then try to rip you off with repairs.
UPDATE - Received the quote to replace the arms.
There was nothing wrong with the break arms Protyre were going to replace and charge me over £500. Took my car to another garage who told me there was a small tear in the rubber which is no where near an MOT fail and can’t see them needing replacing anytime soon. Need I say more.

A very friendly and professional…
A very friendly and professional manager, Ant, greeted me, checked that all my details were correct, and took my keys. The vehicle then went for its MOT while I waited in a very clean waiting area with free hot drinks.
Once the MOT had been completed, the car was parked neatly in a space, facing the correct way, ready for me to drive straight out.
The MOT tester, Sam (I think that was his name), came and spoke to me about the advisories on the vehicle and explained them clearly. He was also very respectful with the vehicle, having put a seat cover on and a paper floor mat inside.
It’s very rare to go somewhere that is so clean,tidy, and professional.

Rip off extra charges - avoid.
The service was efficient.
However, I had bought 3 new tyres through Blackcircles and they charged me another £20 to remove the front wheel and put it in the boot when they were already using the spare to put one of the new tyres onto. I have never been charged by any other garage for this and will not be returning!

I'm sorry to hear you are not happy with the charge for swapping wheels around - Whilst I appreciate that you're not happy with the charge - Black circles only pay us for replacing the quantity that you have purchased.
When a customer asks for the moving of wheels on their vehicles there is an element of labour to be charged - this is the same in most fast fit garages and main dealers.
3rd party companies such as Black circles and Asda do offer this service to customers when they are purchasing tyres on their website.
I'm sorry that on this occasion we did not meet your expectations.

Trust them to fit tyres correctly.
Easy to order tyres on linevand choose a convenient date and time for fitting. When certain tyres shows low stock numbers and have to enquire I was very impressed at how quickly the manager replied.

As I’ve said it was a fair mot but car fail on a broken spring and headlight wasn’t giving the right light I was quoted £350 but may be more so I tuck the car to a local garage were a new spring was fitted and the headlight adjusted I had the retest and it passed but only cost me £100 at my local garage
