A very satisfactory MOT xperience.
I went to Protyre for my annual MOT. The staff were very pleasant and professional and the MOT was completed in less than an hour. The price charged was very reasonable and less than many other garages in the Southampton area. I have used Protyre for many years for tyres and MOT and have always been completely satisfied.

Helpful and responsive
We developed a flat tyre and managed to make it to Protyre Autocare. We had no appointment and they were having a very busy day. But they fitted us in and repaired the tyre. We found them to be very helpful.

Absolute Legends!!
Protyre Autocare on Burgess Road are legends and i cant recommend them highly enough. I took my car in after it developed a horrible grinding and squeaking noise that had me convinced something serious was wrong with the brakes.
The team quickly investigated the problem and found it was simply a small stone trapped in the brake assembly. They removed it, explained exactly what had happened, and got me safely back on the road.
What really impressed me was their honesty and professionalism—they didn't try to sell me unnecessary repairs and didn't even charge me for fixing the issue. In a time when it's easy to worry about being overcharged, their integrity was incredibly refreshing.
Fantastic customer service, knowledgeable staff, and genuinely trustworthy. I'll definitely be returning for any future servicing or tyre needs and would happily recommend Protyre Burgess Road to anyone.

Mechanic was very efficient even though he was juggling two jobs. Most of the problems I reported were sorted and the cost was no extra.

Didn’t like the appointment system between Protyre and Blackcircles which didn’t work so I had wasted journey and had to return the next day. The guys who fid the work did a good job.
