1 star given as nil star not an option The tyre was assessed by your staff. They ordered it in . They fitted it . I noticed they had ordered the wrong size , it was quite obvious and should have been to your fitter. So I had to go back on my wifes birthday to have it re fitted . Another journey there and another journey home . A longer wait than usual as other customer were aleady there before me . So I lost 90 mins of my Saturday The staff were stressed as they were missing a staff member unexpectedly. The problem is your place at bredbury is too small . There is no booking in process so delays are hit and miss . Because the phone is ringing off the hook your staff are pulled away from fitting to quoting. Operationally it's a catch 22. The overall thing is regardless of whether you are busy or not when a customer walks through the door you should always acknowledge their presence within 60 seconds at most even whilst on the phone . But especially when just tapping a keyboard. Three times on three occasions had no acknowledgement of my presence at the counter and insufficient apology for your ordering mistake .
My conclusion is even if your tyres were to be cheaper than elsewhere I am really not sure if I want to use your bredbury branch again , it's too cramped an operation . Always has a queue . No personal service or interest and its a shame as your running the site on too tight a staff payroll and neglect to provide effective customer care basic skills training . This is an honest factual feed back . I do not want a refund or money off future purchase but I do want a better response if I walk onto site again . From Gary Froggatt 07756136135

I used this branch for years when it was Selecta tyre because the customer service was superb, I’m glad to say that the very high standard of customer service is being carried on.

My tyre was very low had it pumped up then went to protyre in Bredbury. A lovely man thoroughly checked my tyre could find no fault with the tyre. The other tyres were checked also. No charge for the full check. Professional, honest friendly guys at the garage. I will definitely be using pro tyres Bredbury again in the future and telling my friends and family too.

I had a problem with a tyre loosing pressure so called at Protyre in Bredbury. It turned out that I needed two tyres replacing and despite not having an appointment the work was carried out straight away. The fitters were efficient and thorough and I am really satisfied. I will continue making Protyre Bredbury my first choice in future.

Cheap tyres, but you pay for what you get. Poor service. Incorrect tyres fitted on first occasion and alignment not corrected. 3 alloys damaged on second visit, was told by customer complaints that the damage won’t be rectified as it was deemed as old damage. Alloys went in the garage as new. Won’t be returning to this garage.

I didn’t have an appointment as I found out I had a damaged tyre shortly before. The gentleman at Protyre advised what was the best solution for my car, checked accurately all the other tyres and provide the best plan for the car and for my urgent need for the car to be fixed quickly (as I need it for work).
45 minutes later my car was ready with new front tires and having done the alignment too.
I have been very happy both about competence, politeness and service.
I will definitely go back.
