AVOID - Quoted one price and charged another…!
I called Bathwick Tyres Westcott Place after seeing a tyre online. Ben quoted me £159 for 2 Sumitomo BC100 tyres, the same as the web price. I arrived as agreed on Friday 5th September, had the tyres fitted – and was then charged £259.90.
I questioned it before paying, but was told this was the “fully fitted” price. Back home, I checked again and could not understand the extra £100. When I called back, Ben said the website price is “different” to what they charge in-store. He insisted the higher price was correct and claimed nothing could be done as I had already driven on the tyres. He then tried to offer me a “good deal” on brake pads instead.
I feel utterly disappointed and let down by Ben and Bathwick Tyres. It is totally unacceptable to be quoted one price and then charged another. Poor customer service, misleading pricing, and no attempt to resolve the issue.
I will not return – and I strongly urge others to shop around and go elsewhere.

Tyre losing pressure
I needed help with a tyre losing pressure, I was seen as soon as I arrived, both members of staff were thorough, they explained the cause of the problem and answered all of my questions.
