Booked online for 2 motorcycle tyres to be fitted to loose wheels for a appointment at 4pm on the 29th June, Arrived on time to be told the fitter of motorcycle tyres wasn't working that day no apology just told to leave wheels and he would do them when he was back in. Got a phone call 2 days later to be told he'd broken the tyre pressure sensor and would have to order a replacement. I had to call a week later to be told they were ready. It's a shame that Protyre Salisbury don't do motorcycle tyres as the service you receive from them is excellent.

Excellent service. Everything was handled quickly and efficiently, and all the paperwork was completed without any hassle. Everything was exactly as expected. I highly recommend them.

Despite me clearly saying which tyre to change and even offering a word of warning about the steel cords protruding in a bid to help the fitter avoid injury the wrong tyre was removed. I was told however that this tyre had a bulge and should also be replaced. I found this strange as I was made aware of the original issue at the vehicles MOT. They did not mention any other issues. This is a garage I have used for many years for repairs, servicing and MOTs. I asked for the removed tyre to take back to them and was told now the tyre is off the bulge would not be visible. They agreed but like me were surprised they had missed it in the 1st place. Your employee did charge me the same price for the 2nd tyre as I paid for the 1 ordered on the Internet but I was surprised on closer inspection later that this included a charge for environmental disposal. As I said I asked for the offending tyre so I could show it to my garage so I would be disposing of it.
This was my 1st visit having been redirected from Bathwick Tyres, Trowbridge another business I have returned to regularly.

I brought my car for an MOT to the branch in Westbury.
After it failed I trusted protyre to complete the suspension work that needed to be done. After pre booking the work, they called me and told me they had ordered the wrong part. It then took them 4 days until the work was complete. This in involved me having to call them to remind them. The car was sat outside the garage all weekend!
They passed the MOT and I picked up the car. Only to find that the car was pulling to the right and not steering correctly as well as a noise coming from the suspension.
I took it to a different mechanic who has looked and discovered none of the bolt have been tightened on the suspension arm!!!
This is potentially dangerous and I don't know how they passed the MOT.
Disgusting and very disappointing....Do not take your car here. They have a bad attitude and don't complete safe work!

Drop a tyre off the day before my Appointment time off 11 am and informed the guy behind the counter that I would be passing around 4pm to collect it,he assured me that it would be ready to collect. On arrival the counter was busy which was OK. When I asked for my wheel with a new tyre fitted the job had not even been started. I then had to wait over half an hour for the job to be completed. Not a sorry for the inconvenience,my wife and child was sat waiting in a hot car!!!!

First time to your Westbury branch as Trowbridge was relocating.
I was dealt with in an efficient and professional manner at Reception and was given a collection time.
I returned at that time to find my car ready. A good experience thank you.

Edit 3: The area manager, who has resolved the issue for me, was good. I wouldn't use ProTyre Westbury again, however, appreciate the resolution provided by the area manager.
EDIT 2: and so the saga continues. They changed the wrong part it seems, as I had to take it to another mechanic, and still passed the MOT, which I'm sure makes my car invalid?
EDIT: 2 weeks on and we took our car to another garage as it wasn't running in a straight line, and it turns out none of the bolts were tightened properly, and so a complete safety risk! and the other arm doesn't in fact need replacing, and so has an advisory on my MOT which isn't true, therefore a wrongful MOT. Be very careful visiting this place.
PREVIOUS REVIEW:I went in for the MOT and it failed, which wasn't the problem, the main issue I had is that I booked to have the work done for the following Thursday and called up in the afternoon, to be told the wrong part had come in, and that I'd get a call when this was in. I didn't receive a call, and when I called on Friday lunch time, I was told "I told you I'd call you when it's in" didn't hear anything all weekend, I'd told the garage I needed the car back Monday. When my husband called on Monday morning, we were told, the works done, it'll go through again at 3pm, but they can't balance the wheels because they can't get the garage door open for where the wheel balancing is. We got a call at 4:30pm to say the work was done, and when we went to pick it up, we were told it hadn't been done this morning (like we were told), and wouldn't have been done if my husband hadn't called in the morning! Then said we wedged the door open, don't know how it's going to close now! Like it was an inconvenience and our fault. The gentleman also tried to charge us £100 more than I had been told, and was written down for me in the quote! He didn't dispute just made some changes and it was fine, it just made me wonder about if we hadn't questioned it and where the extra £100 came off as it was all itemised on the receipt?! Can't fault the work done, however the customer service could do with being better.

Steve and Rob were amazing. They cared about the situation with my car, and me as a person. The work they undertook was really professional, along with their expert communication. Protyre should be very proud of their two employees.

Explained what was needed, gave costing which didn’t change and was booked in and resolved within 3 days. Great job.

I believe they went beyond the normal while they were solving the problems. I was kept up to date with the progress or the lack of progress until the issues were resolved.

Protyre have fitted tyres to my Motorcycles and cars before. This time I took my new Nissan Ariya for a wheel alignment. The lads were chatting and positive telling me what they were doing and why. I also had a weird brake noise which they were trying to fix for free. All sorted and happy. Only cost eighty quid for both front and back so took some beer as a thank you. Cheers.
