Charge for re-test if Mot repairs not carried out by yourselves, had the repairs completed at more than half the cost protyre quoted , with genuine parts too

Protyre Winsford was excellent today.
Very well organised and nice new reception area, plus the coffee was very good whilst we waited for two new tyres to be fitted.

Booked through Asda tyres, was done & dusted in less than hour. Highly recommend fast & friendly

Don't like the idea of added charges sent a quote fo£39.95 then you want add hidden charges

Protyre are always very competitive with their MOT prices such that we use them every year.
They also provide on time and efficient service can't ask for more.

Another good service from the winsford Team. The Tyre Under-Inflation sensor indicated a fault. The team were able to quickly fit me in and fit two new tyres, back on the road. Thank you

I got told I needed
4x coil springs .because they were 'corroded'
2x front tyres as they were 'cracked' and perished
2x top mounts as one had play in both operating fine.

And brake discs and pads which were no were near not in need of urgent replacemnt wharsoever. .

I took my car in for a slight issue of it pulling to the left slighlty, and came back with all this. At a quoted price of over £1200. Questioning this twice myself i took it to another local garage around the corner for an inspection. A good hour later I was taken for a look underneath my car at the problems highlighted by the first garage. And was assured that all of my coil springs were completely fine. Only 1 out of the 4 had a little bit of corrosion. Which was told will still pass an mot,
No cracks whatsoever in my tyres and they all had lots of life left in them.

I was also shown my top mounts which shown to be operating fine on both sides apart from the usual small amount of play that all corsas have , again didn't need replacing at all,

The only thing I was pulled up on at this second garage was my brake pads and discs might need doing within the next 12 months. At a cost they could fit and supply for 145, and that was all it would need to get through its upcoming mot,a price less than half the quote I was given from first garage. At over 300. Personally I would avoid this garage and go to an independent one as they seem to just throw problems upon your car which aren't actually there.

Great selection of tyres, most of which seemed fairly priced and probably cheaper than the competition.
The best part about the service I received was that I waited for no longer than 15 to 20 minutes for them to refit the tire.
The girl on reception in the Winsford branch was really pleasant and a pleasure to deal with

Fit me in at short notice on a Saturday and looked at another couple of issues that I raised also. Car is now driving notably better. Great Service - Thanks

It was a quick and efficient service.... Mot.. No problems car fine...

I've used them a few times now. If it's been a small service, tyres or discs and pads, I like the idea I can book the vehicle in at a set time and walk away to a local retail park to kill time until the vehicle is done and ready. Saves having to get a taxi home and or one back later on

Great efficient service by friendly personnel only reason not a 5, reception undergoing renervation so had to wait around off site, thankfully not raining.

So helpful at the windsford branch, the Two ladies on the reception went above & beyond for me, I got my times & branches mixed up but they sorted it no problem, it's so nice to see ladies behind the reception desk.

Even though I had a problem post work, they were quick to resolve it without any fuss.

Asked for the same replacement tyre I had two months earlier, which was £84. Then when I went to pay for it, got charged £137. How on earth does the same tyre increase in price by 63% in two months 🤨

Car wasn't booked in with them due to who can fix my car not finalising the booking with the garage, but they still fitted the job in and got it done the same day

The service was excellent no problems in and out 3 or 4 levels of price all good.
