Purely Shutters Reviews 

Absolutely delighted, just had the final four windows done in our house and Purely Shutters have done a fantastic job, as they did earlier in the year with the rest of our house. It’s made a massive difference to the appearance of each room as I was so sick of blinds and curtains getting dusty. It’s great to be able to wipe them down and each room looks far more modern. Purely Shutters we’re very professional and the fitter was really polite and cleaned up any mess he might have made spotlessly. Would highly recommend.

The Surveyor took time to accurately measure our windows (not straight forward as they are Victorian sash windows and not uniform). There was quite a long lead time (to be expected with a made measure service) but the shutters were fitted within the time frame given. I contacted the office several times and the staff were competent, polite and efficient on both occasions. The fitters were efficient and pleasant took nearly 5 hrs to fit ensuring the finish was tidy and the lines of the shutter panels even matched in to the window panes. The Shutters look amazing, the colour was matched beautifully to the frames and look seamless. Admittedly, they have only just completed so I cannot vouch for long term serviceability but I am hopeful as the fit is excellent and the quality of the catches and the finish etc seem very good quality.

I recently had both blinds and shutters supplied and fitted by Purely Shutters.
I was very impressed by both the product and the service.
Firstly, they were a very competitive price and they were able to match the colour of the shutters to the blinds which some other companies were unable to do at this price range. Secondly, they took time to properly measure and discuss various options for what was a particularly large and complex job, due to the size and configuration of some of the doors/windows.
All the products arrived and were fitted within the promised timeframe and I am very pleased with the finished look.
One further plus is that they employ their own fitters rather than contract this out which provides a much more consistent and accountable service.
I would not hesitate to recommend Purely Shutters for both their product and service.

Two bay windows and flat small window. Similar price to other quotes (apparently all made in same Chinese factory). Company guaranteed delivery date not met, not even an apology just a "here is fixing date", rude can not be bothered head office staff. Quality of product very poor, OK mdf but split panels, badly drilled holes etc. Fitting equally as poor, corners not meeting, bowing, uneven gaps etc. Most problems rectified to a poor but "I've had enough of them quality".

I can not and do not recommend Purely Shutters

I agreed with the developer I bought my house from to have shutters fitted in the two front rooms upstairs, he arranged with the Cardiff based Purely Shutters to have them fitted. This created some difficulties in communication which was finally resolved through direct intervention from the director of Purely Shutters, for which we were very grateful. The shutters were well fitted and look great. My sister had shutters fitted recently through a different company, and I have to say Purely Shutters were a better product.
