I would give zero stars if it was an option. Although the last time I ate Quality Street they weren’t as good as years ago, they were still pleasant. I opened a family refill pack last night and couldn’t believe how awful they tasted. Unbearably sweet but in a very chemical way - couldn’t even determine a chocolate taste. The old favourites were unrecognisable - and only one purple and one green in a whole larger refill pack. Will certainly never buy again.

What has happened to these once great chocolates and toffees. They used to be a great treat but now are homogenised and standardised small blobs of very poor quality with no differentiation between the various odd tasting flavours. Could put up with the dreadful cheap wrappers if the chocolates were still good but they aren’t, so I will never ever purchase another box/tin of these dreadful chocolates.

Yuck, Nestle USA have done a fine job! have you tasted American chocolate - well now you can experience it with Quality Street! or should we rename it "Inferior Ally" what's all the nonsense with the "special eco-friendly wrappers, presented in a hypocritical dull plastic tub?" Bring back the jewelled colours please... the correct selections alongside the taste...for goodness sake!

Good Job Nestle USA - taking the fun sparkle and magic out of a British Tradition, is this some warped revenge on Britain after your hard won independence, way back in 1776?

Will not purchase again, waste of money, disappointing and "change for change" sake..... What appalling research and development (R&D) team got paid thousands of $ or £,s for this diabolical change?

Just opened my 1st Christmas tin, no sorry tub ( showing my age as they used to be In tins) and was very disappointed by the change in the wrappers, it's like coloured greaseproof paper. However the biggest disappointment was the taste, what the hell have they done to the chocolate?? It all tastes very strange and unfortunately I bought 4 boxes. I wouldn't even give them as gifts. Will not buy ever again.

Honestly quite an upsetting experience for me! Memories of my Childhood in the 1980s and the special feeling when Dad brought out that big metal tin on Christmas Eve! All the jewel like sparkly wrappers and lovely chocolates. Now - total dog excrement! I don’t think you could design a worse and more unpleasant product if you tried! And tried bloody hard over many years with the zeal of a single minded psychopath! Nasty plastic tub. Nasty plastic wrappers! The cheapest small grainiest palm oil chocolate with totally artificial flavours and terrible fillings! Are they getting their aromas from companies that make toilet cleaners - possibly? Certainly the strawberry and orange ones have permeated out from the cheap plastic wrappers and infected the whole tub of shame. Everything has a taste of those terrible worm drinks you had in the 1980s if someone in your class had worms. To say this product is bad doesn’t come close. They sat in the plastic coffin till I could stand them no more and tipped almost 1/2 box in the bin. Nestle haven’t just destroyed the legacy, they gone further to denigrate it and build a chapel of sacrilege on the ashes staffed by Jimmy Savile and Fred West. Avoid at all cost and save yourself the very unpleasant trip down memory lane. That lane now filled with the proverbial crack heads and pedophiles of the chocolate world! Save yourself a very very unpleasant experience! Kill this product now!!!

This product has hit rock bottom in my opinion. Nearly all the chocolates have a hint of orange about them and the taste overall is awful. This brand used to be synonymous with all things joyful.......................for me that's not the case any more. It's probably going to take a whole lot of effort from Nestlé to get this brand back to the elevated heights it used to be. I tried to provide, direct to the company, some feedback but they have made it so difficult to even do that I gave up. So all in all an extremely poor product experience and an extremely poor customer feedback experience.

Quality street are absolutely disgusting quality! Half the size! You use get a lovely big caramel and whole nut hazelnut, the purple one, now it's half the size with chippings or nut, even quality of the chocolate is pretty poor!

Quality Street in the festive season is supposed to be a big treat (a memorable experience for all the family). You are completely out of touch with WHY people were loyal to QS over many years. Now, we have crap wrapping paper, you changed the size and the form of the chocolates - and for what reason? Well done, you are killing QS in one fell swoop. I would not buy them for £1 Very smart environmental strategy: nobody will buy them - less waste.

These once tasty and beautifully wrapped sweets are now absolutely auful and have thrown them in rubbish bin. Will no longer be purchasing the once lovely quality street sweets. The manufacturers should be ashamed at selling such auful quality to consumers.

Shitty wrapping paper. The chocolate is smaller, it's no more quality, but really bad wrapping, quality not there anymore.

This company will only improve if it goes back 50 years to how it used to be
Also british consumers of chocolate should look at other online food companies which are smaller.but literally have hundreds of different chocolate brands
There are excellent choices out there but you will not get them in morrisons tesco or asda
Just avoid these companies.

Absolutely vile. What on earth happened to our much loved traditional chocolate treats? They taste cheap, like chemicals and no rich, creamy chocolate taste anymore. The wrapping is so bland, the once loved beautiful coloured foil wrappers are gone and replaced by dull paper wrappers. Apart from the green triangles? Strange decision. The size of the chocolates has shrunk noticeably and the final nail in the coffin for me ... the purple one isn't the lovely oval shape it used to be, but has changed into a round shape. Just so sad, it was a family treat to have a tin of these. I'd honestly rather have a big tin, full of the same lovely, colourful chocolates and pay £20 for them. I don't want a cheap half filled plastic box of disgustingly cheap tasting chocolate for £4. Shame on you Nestle, the last time I'll ever buy them.

Unfortunately the box is now plastic, and the wrappers are cheap and nasty. I preferred the metal tin, and the previous wrapping. Also some of the chocolates are very sweet now, but with little taste. They should have left well alone, in my opinion.

Quality Street is no longer quality. Smaller quantity in tub, smaller chocolates and totally different recipes. Disgusting ! Flavours, ingredients and even the chocolate itself have all changed for the worse. A product I loved has been taken over and destroyed. A warning should be put on the packaging.

Yet another Christmas tradition ruined! Beautiful sparkling wrappers replaced by dull papers. Opening up the Quality Street tin under the shining Christmas lights was one of the best seasonal experiences during my childhood and later life. Whilst all of the grandads and dads were twisting the coloured films to make ‘goblets for fairies’ we fought over who would get the purple one. Terrible shame!

Quality Street Chocolates taste horrible. No chocolate flavour at all you cannot tell what the different flavours are. They are small and the box is half empty. Rubbish I will not buy them again.

Half the product for double the price. Utter shite. Will not be spending my hard earned money on these again. I’m sure there are plenty of morons that will, by by Quality streets, you were so much better before greed was introduced.

Bought tub of quality street, they taste rank! Taste like plastic not chocolate. Not buying any of these again
