Stinky room

Check in took 30 minutes as the assistant couldn’t work out 3 rooms booked under 1 booking for some reason

The room stinks of stale water/sewer. We found out when we showered why. The wet room doesn’t drain and water stays as a lake. You can’t go back in the bathroom without shoes on

The bar was freezing with people huddled by a fire or wearing coats.

This is Leeds city centre.

Rats infestation inside the hotel Radisson Blu Bristol

We visited the Radisson Blu in Bristol with the intention of having a drink at the bar. However, we were alarmed to notice a rat under our table consuming leftover food. The sight was astonishing and deeply concerning. We left immediately, before the rat even had time to hide. The experience was thoroughly unacceptable.

Rude and condescending staff member on reception, very loud banging noise in our room 7.30am,room phone not working and no water available from the landing..
£152 for one night and no water is available in your room..
And the breakfast was stone cold, I complained via email and if anything I was further abused saying it was probably all my fault..Needless to say I will not be using Radisson in future..

Extremely disappointing!

The rooms at London Stansted are outdated, dark, and dingy, with little effort made to create a comfortable or welcoming atmosphere.

Dining was a particular disappointment. I ordered the butter chicken with rice, naan, and poppadoms (£22.50) plus Chinese chicken noodles listed at £24 but charged at £25. Drinks included a still water (£4.25) – essentially tap water in a Radisson Blu branded bottle, not genuine bottled water – and an Aperol Spritz, advertised at £8 but charged at an astonishing £15.99. On top of this, a £6.77 service charge was added, bringing the total to £74.51.

For that price, the quality was shockingly poor. The noodles were nothing more than packet noodles with a few onions and peppers, sprinkled with five-spice and topped with four thin strips of chicken that resembled something from a frozen Birds Eye pack. The butter chicken was bland and far from authentic.

Overall, this was a disgraceful experience at a premium price point. For a hotel carrying the Radisson Blu name, the standards here are unacceptable, far from 4*. I will not be staying again, nor would I recommend it to anyone expecting quality or value for money.

***AVOID AT ALL COSTS***

***AVOID AT ALL COSTS***

Please avoid Radisson Blu Marblearch at all costs. IT WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE AT A HOTEL EVER AND I AM A VERY FREQUENT TRAVELER.

- LIFT OUT OF SERVICE FOR 1 week and was expected to take 3 flights of stairs with my pregnant wife.
- CUSTOMER SERVICE APPALLING
- THEY MIXED UP THE ROOMS AND HAD ME SEPARATED FROM MY KIDS AND WIFE SLEEPING IN DIFFERENT ROOMS
- THE STENGE FROM THE ROOMS AND MATTRESSES WAS UNBELIEVABLE.

I have raised all my concerns with their head office and customer care team and they did not acknowledge my complaint. I am now seeking legal advice to sue them for this as my kids have been subjected to bed bugs bites.

I came over from Oman for holiday and treatment and was left with this.

An Almost Inedible Meal. Flaccid Gammon and Rock Hard Egg

We had a 3 hour stopover at Stansted between journeys and decided to walk over the the Radisson for a relaxed meal. We felt the Radisson name to be indicative of quality, sadly it was not!!
I ordered gammon and fried egg, and my wife had Indian buttered chicken. The meal arrived promptly, but the gammon was like a large, undercooked bacon rasher. Flaccid and unpleasant. The egg on top was rock hard and, at my request was replaced after 10 minutes and 2 reminders by another. My wife's chicken dish was sloppy and more like a stew than anything refined! We had a glass of Merlot each with the meal.
The bill was £86, and unbelievably we were charged separately for the replacement egg!!

I booked a twin room

I booked a twin room, the booking was accepted, then I got a email saying that they could not guarantee a twin room.
I emailed them back and said give me my money back then.
They replied saying sorry but they could now confirm that I would get a twin room.
Of course when I arrived I was told that no twin room was available and if I didn't like it, I was free to find another hotel.

Stressful experience

Have been trying to book a room and parking with Radissonblu Stansted airport. Tried the app wouldn’t take my payment, rang customer bookings, what a nightmare. Staff don’t seem to know what they are doing, put on hold 3 times, still couldn’t give me a price for the booking. Gave up in disgust.

I booked two family rooms for three…

Worst Nightmare - Never Ever Book with Radisson !!!! I booked two family rooms for three nights in Radisson Blu, South Kensington, London with full payment in advance. I have been staying at Radisson Blu hotels in Oslo, Glasgow, Manchester and the experience has been very good - based on which the Radisson Blu brand hotel in South Kensington was booked rather blindly and solely on trust basis. It turned out to be the worst nightmare experience of my entire travelling and hotelling life (50+ years). This particular hotel is a total fraud. Never ever will I book any hotel with Radisson brand. The staff was totally oblivious to catering for customer demands and was knowlingly looking away (except for one very nice reception counter staff who booked us in and tried to be as helpful as she could but she was overtaken by the 'European' staff members who had probably sworn not to listen to customers - and I wasn't the only one complaining there). I had to leave the hotel after the first night and the staff refused to reimburse the remaining amount citing booking conditions which are draconian when it comes to showing consideration to someone's hard-earned savings. SHAME ON YOU RADISSON BLU (and ex-Vanderbilt Hotel, South Kensington).

Poor Customer Service…

Stayed at Stanstead this year which I have done many times before, I don't know how the experience was so different, Room was not to normal standards, ordered food from the bar area for lunch, they forgot to provide it, ended up cancelling, no real effort to resolve from the staff. Picked up a parking charge of £100 due to reception error, not prepared to discuss. Tried to contact to resolve not interested.

Sleep Deprivation Fan in Every Room

Mr Gonzalez,

Im sorry to have to write to you in this manner.

Its 4am in the morning. I have an early flight to Malaga for a business meeting and then have to fly back the next day.

All after experiencing the worst nights sleep Ive ever had, at any hotel, anywhere in the world.

Because my flight is early I need to sleep from 8am. Problem is, that all the rooms have noisy bathroom fans which are programmed to run continously up until 11pm. You cant turn this fan off

What kind of hotel would do this? What kind of management would do this?

Its effectively installing a sleep deprivation device in every room, in order to ensure that your guests cant sleep until past 11pm.

Additionally the air con controls have a fan function which has low - medium - high settings with no visible way of turning the fan off. Even on the low setting the fan is noisy and disturbing. What the controls dont indicate is that by constantly pressing you can turn the fan off. I discovered that at 3am after I had already had a ruined nights sleep.

The most basic function of a hotel is to provide a good nights sleep. Especially a hotel thats next to an airport, where many people will be staying before an early flight.

Im sorry, but the Radisson Blu has utterly failed me and Im apalled at my experience with your hotel.

By the way, I reported all this to the front desk and they were useless.

Charging me 19 pound after my stay without any info

Booked a room at Radisson Blu Manchester (not cheap) stayed the night nothing to complain about on the stay, payed my bill and left, then 5 days later I see that they have charged me 19 pound for what I don`t know, I have send them a mail asking what this is as I have not been informed why they have charged me those 19 pound, hope to get a reply ASAP, if not need to report this to the police, for stealing money from my bank account without any info on why, After being in contact with the guest service manager, they have now as a goodwill refunded the charge of the 19 pound, thanks.

Awful

Is it possible to leave less than one star? I was warned not to stay here and that it was an awful brand but my god is it exceeding disappointment. No towels in the room. Phone doesnt work. 10 min trip to reception. Marco, bloke on duty: the phone 'clearly' (I kid you not) works because I could hear you, I dont know why you couldn't hear me. Clearly your fault.

Stayed at the Bristol Radisson

Stayed at the Bristol Radisson. The room was awful. It was dirty and had stained carpet, curtains and lamps. The curtains were vile with holes and stains all over them. It was the worst room I have ever stayed in. I complained as was told I would be shown another room but nothing happened. Absolute disgrace!!!! The management should be ashamed!!
