If I could give no stars

If I could give no stars , I would, disgusting , been trying for 2 hours now, to get through to reservations , been taken on a world trip with call centres , got through to same person 4 times , Julie in the Phillipines , trying to complain, no one available , Stanstead reception , are apparently so busy, try my life today as a nurse , you don’t know busy! So, after a nursing shift with no staff hardly, I’m being told by reservations to ring the stanstead number and press option 4, done that 5 times, as I’ve waited so long, I keep getting cut off , disgraceful company , stayed with with you many times , never again ,
My Husband is currently waiting to customer services via Julie in the Philippines , he’s a London black cab driver, will never recommend Radisson Hotels to any tourist or visitor, we know this has been recorded, and would appreciate your feedback, we had a stay with you cancelled during covid , moved to another hotel, due to you having isolation people staying , we accepted that and moved , no recompense, The Hilton by Hamilton at Stanstead stepped up and accommodated us , we came back to you again, and you have treated us like scum, sorry , but that’s how we feel ? My husband has just spoken to someone again , she has cut my husband off , as he was saying he was deaf and shouting ? She was laughing and then cut my husband off , all we wanted was a price ? We are obviously upset , as spent a few hours now trying to speak to Stanstead reception ,we do have a gratuity owing from a past experience with Stanstead Radiison Blu, during Covid, disgusted guests ,

Quite honestly the worst hotel chain…

Quite honestly the worst hotel chain around. No email customer service, no direct hotel telephone numbers, no response to hotel emails and phoning general customer service is worse as they know nothing about individual hotels. All in all trying to find out anything about a hotel that isn`t made public on the internet is impossible.

Terrible experience at stansted

Terrible experience at stansted - an hour check in - wrong rooms allocate - - couldn’t change - they never answer any complaints - then at a later date had to book again - they refused to answer an immediate change to the booking - they just don’t care - there is no way of speaking to them if you want to complain or change anything - dreadful - avoid them

Very bad experience

I checked into Radisson Blu Edwardian Heathrow Hotel & Conference Centre, London this evening. I was resting in bed one hour after check in and had another guest walking into the room using a card that was opening our room. Asked my partner to go down with the card to make sure that the person walking into the room is not a fraud. He goes down and ends up getting 2 new cards after 15 min, while i had to stay in the dark in the room. He comes back and the cards do not work again!! Its 10 pm and we have been to the lobby 3 times and another guest have opened our room door with the key from the hotel! Angry and frustrated. I wouldn't want to pay 85pounds for 8 hours if I wanted this service!
Really bad!!

Durham hen party

We have just had a fantastic spa day for my daughters hen party at durham. We were looked after by Jess, who made it a fab experience. Prosecco & platters of food, a reserved seating area with balloons. Nothing was too much trouble. I would thiroughly recommend this venue & would like to thank Jess & her colleagues for making it a day to remember.

We booked a weekend break in Edinburgh

We booked a weekend break in Edinburgh. 2 days after booking we received an email offering 25% discount if booking from 1st April. I rang asking if we could access the discount offer because we arrive on the 1st April only to be told as we’d already booked and it was non refundable we weren’t eligible. I contacted their CEO about the matter who didn’t bother to respond.
The room in the hotel was fine, we’d upgraded when booking, it was spacious, clean and comfortable.
The flip side was you only got 2 coffee pods for the espresso machine so if you wanted another coffee later on, tough luck.
The cooked breakfast we’d over paid for was very poor, the fruit juices were so watered down they were tasteless.
The bacon was undercooked, the fried eggs were watery, the scrambled eggs were runny although the sausages and mushrooms had flavour. The food was lukewarm when you plated up so was cold when you got to your table.
I would advise not paying for breakfast and go outside, there’s plenty of cafés at very reasonable prices and good quality.
On the whole I found area’s of the Radisson organisation disinterested in retaining customers loyalty for monetary gain.

No longer a fan of Radisson hotels

Issues with the app and website meant I was unable to complete my booking. The call centre was closed and by the time they replied to my emails / had fixed the issue the price has increased significantly. Even though they caused the issue Radisson refuse to honor the original price quoted.

Great Hotel

I can strongly recommend the RaddisonBlu at Stanstead; The front of office staff were incredibly helpful and the level of service equal to that of some of London‚s finest hotels. The showers are great and the mattresses are super comfortable!

Strongly recommend Radisson Blu Stansted Airport

Booked a room at last moment at Stansted Airport as plane very delayed so couldn't continue journey. Great experience from walking in the door to leaving the following morning. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. The room was extremely clean with everything you could need from tea and coffee tray, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, slippers, make up mirror and lovely fluffy large towels. The water was hot and the power shower wonderful. Items supplied in the bathroom excellent. The breakfast was outstanding. The choice overwhelming. The fresh pineapple was delicious as was the lemon sponge slice! A bit indulgent for breakfast but it was yummy. Orange juice very good as was the coffee. Strongly recommend this hotel. IT REALLY IS WALKING DISTANCE FROM THE TERMINAL. Takes about 4 minutes and you can take your trolley and leave it outside.

Radisson wrongly priced their room

Radisson cancelled a booking I made last September for a stay in June. It took them 4 months to realise they made a mistake with their prices. They are hiding behind T&Cs. Meanwhile prices have gone up. Take ownership & honour my booking.

Appalling customer service from Diana.

My booking got cancelled because the Gov took the Hotel for Covid quarantine. I called the reception and asked for support or alternative solutions to be relocated to another Hotel and Diana the supervisor at the reception was extremely rude and was not even bothered my call and when I asked for help she simply said "No", she didn't even apologise or try to assist me in another other way. This is totally unacceptable for a 4 star Hotel.

Despite assurances that the guests I booked accessible rooms for in Birmingham Radisson Blue would be allocated these rooms, on check-in it turned out that was not the case. So I was advised to email two email addresses to ensure that this does not happen. Guess what...no response from those that I emailed. Bad customer service.

Would avoid Radissonblu in future

Stayed at Radissonblu Stansted, and very disappointed. Found it hard to find from the airport building, and there were no signs in the hotel car park which I had to walk through in the dark. Very long queue at check-in (not good when people arriving off journeys!) and although I'd checked in online I was told I had to queue too, but then (as I made a bit of a fuss) a receptionist dealt with me and gave me a key. The room was fine (very comfortable bed) except for one very important thing - the curtains did not reach to cover the whole window so bright light shone in which disturbed my sleep before an early morning flight (the whole purpose of getting the hotel room was to get a good night's sleep before the flight!). The staff were very pleasant and friendly.

Raddison Blu Durham

Stayed at this hotel last weekend. On arrival was given my room key only to find the door already open and dirty towels and bedding thrown on the floor. We had already paid for an upgraded room.
We had to go back to reception and be moved to a different room.
The swimming pool was packed, later found out the hotel offer cheap price spa days. Sauna and steam room overcrowded. Given the situation with covid, things should be put in place to make sure spa day numbers are limited so hotel guests can also make use of the facilities.
Breakfast was rubbish, things been left and ran out so we had to stand waiting until the refilled items etc.
Stayed in loads of hotels and deffo wont be going back here again, or using Raddison again.
Sent an email to head office, to be told sorry and we look forward to your next stay. Sorry Raddison, but you can shove it !!!!

Hello

Hello, is that the Radisson Blu Edinburgh? I’d like to book a room for four nights at £350.00 per night…. does the rate include tea making facilities in the room, as I’m an Englishman and drinking tea when I wake up is very important to me…. Yes Paul, the room comes with tea making facilities….. Sadly, poor Paul woke the next morning to find no tea in the room…. he also found the phone to reception wasn’t working….. he washed and dressed and headed for breakfast thinking even £50 a night travel inn can ensure there’s at least one teabag in the room….. minor divert to the cornflakes via reception, teabag problem sorted for morning #2, or so one would think….. no chance….. five teabags were delivered, but by the next morning, the chamber maid had trimmed that number down… If you were managing the Radisson Blu Edinburgh and you ran short of tea bags, would you a) raid Paul’s room …b) send a team player out for fresh supplies…. I have no plans to ever stay at a Radisson Blu hotel ever again… In fairness, the Hotel refunded £100, money I gifted to charity, but they took 5 months to do so…. the issue was never about a refund, it was about a large hotel group charging top dollar, making a promise and failing to deliver on something so simple as a teabag…..

Rates that don't exist

Website is advising of rates that arent available. When i rang customer services they blamed the internet , then high demand , then informed me i couldn't lodge a complaint. To top it all off they hung up on me. Shocking service and as a Radison member i would haven expected better.

Friendly staff, lovely rooms.

My experiance from Heathrow, March 2016:

Overall I was very happy with my stay. The bedrooms were lovely. Clean and very comfortable! The bed was amazing and the shower surprisingly simple to use (normally my biggest issue in a hotel!).

Reception were very happy to offer complimentary late check out, which was a lifesaver with my late night flight and were helpful to provide the information on the airport shuttle. Very friendly and approachable.

The only thing that let down, in my opinion, was wait times. This was usually to do with the restaurant more than any other service. To be fair it was quite a busy restaurant! The staff were friendly and the food is very good. I would come again but next time order room service, as the selection of food that was available at the restaurant was also on the room service menu.

Would definitely book again if flying from Heathrow, my only regret is not trying out the spa!

Food Poisoned and offered no Medical help!!

While the hotel looks nice its only as good as its and their staff and abilities which sadly are appalling.
I had their breakfast and to my disgust there was some chemical in my apple juice. After drinking this i went to reception asked for the manager Catherine and explained this. She first tried to deny it and explain it was impossible but after smelling my drink she said it needed investigating and offered me an orange juice instead. No offer of a refund or to medical assistance. I went back to my room where i was then sick. i came down to checkout and the manager didnt even ask how i was feeling. I informed her i had now been sick to which she said "ok".
I responded saying this wasnt ok at all and why was she not even bothered about my health or the situation. She explained she didnt know how to deal with this and just gave me a bottle of water.
20 minutes after leaving she sent me an email saying i should seek medical advice if i felt worse. She then called me midday to see how i was and to apologise for not attending to my medical needs which was kind of her but doesnt make up for the pure negligence that morning and lack or training or process in place.
they referred to a 3rd party company who responded saying there was no evidence and the hotel followed all procedures correctly despite the fact i have an email of Catherine apologizing for the way she handled it. They made their conclusion without asking me questions they needed to fill in on their form as thye sent me that in error to fill in which i sent back to them.
Hotel hasnt contacted me to offer any refund or compensation / free stays since which again is disappointing.

Youre only as good as your staff and the training you provide them which appalling and could of been fatal if a resident had an allergic reaction
