This happened a few months ago but I messaged them on Facebook asking because I’m local can I collect or meet locally for a few products, no point posting something when they are 5 minutes down the road, he was very rude towards me and not helpful and then blocked me, I feel very disappointed with this company and they have lost a very valuable customer, do not buying from them

As we explained on messenger, we do not allow visitors as we work from home. We are also not prepared to leave orders in an unsecure place, such as the refuse bins when they are put out for collection for customers to pick them up. The only reason you were blocked was because of the tone of your messages. Hopefully you were able to collect the items you required from another supplier.

HELPFUL, you bet. This is a great family company with so many things for the railway modeller. Products are always good, service is always good and deliveries (the bit they control) are always good. I have many items from them on my railway that have helped it to look and run well. The help pages have been a great asset for me.

An excellent family business to deal with
It is a pleasure to deal with this business and I have done so quite a bit in recent years. I fact they are usually my first stop for modelling and electrical/electronic supplies. They have a great selection of products at very competitive prices. There are detailed product descriptions and a good deal of very useful advice on offer via their easy to use website. Communication is also top notch and they are very responsive to queries. It is clear that Stephen puts a lot of effort into researching products and new ideas in order to offer best value to customers. The weekly newsletter must take considerable effort from both Stephen and Gaby, but makes dealing with them a much more personal experience than with many other businesses.

I'm Writing a Review because I cannot believe that no one has written one
I've been ordering train products now for about 15 years on and off from Stephen.
Each time does not surprise me well packaged good quality products.
Each time I've telephone Stephen for his knowledge about products and ideas i have for my railway he's always been happy to help.
I work in an Engineering shop and machining parts need to be write. Stephen packaging and parts are just that precise.
Can't wait to get these parts up and running
