FINALLY after weeks and weeks of phone calls and emails, I am told by Jean P I will get my refund in the next 3-10 days, fingers crossed I do, hopefully Jean can work her magic!!
I ordered furniture on 12 January…
I ordered furniture on 12 January (Order RW11119) for €1,031.49. The items were never delivered. After weeks of no updates, Rathwood confirmed on 2 March that the order was cancelled and that a full refund would be processed. However, the refund never arrived and I had to open a chargeback case with my bank. Extremely frustrating experience and very disappointing customer service.Order number: RW11119

What happened: nearly two months
no delivery
cancellation confirmed 2nd March
refund never received untill today
chargeback opened with Allied Irish Bank.
Update: My bank, Allied Irish Banks, confirmed me today, the chargeback is still under investigation and the refund has not yet been received. I will update again when the case is resolved.

If i could put 0 stars i would. My partner and i placed a order for table and chairs. 2 weeks of been in our new home. They were to ne delivered in 21 days. 21 days came no update on order status. We rang and were told they had no tracking information. Numerous calls later they said they do not have them in stock. ..... why take our money for a product u cant even supply. We requested a refund. Then the fun started. Phone call after phone call it was lik the customer services read of a sheet. The same words each time. Was so frustrating. Eventually after 4 months numerous phone calls. And a request back of payment threw revolute. We went to take it futher. Eventually our refund fund was issued.
Look if i can advise the stress frustration and sheer lack of consideration this company shows to its customers. There hard earned money. And disregard towards there customers is outragous. Its not even worth considering them

Sam - Shipment delay!
Sam - was exceptionally helpful in dealing with the delayed delivery of a Shed I ordered on 31/03/2026.
I feel when ordering - the length of time in receiving shed was not explicit on site.

If I could give this company zero stars I would. I am still waiting on my refund since 1st November 2025. S0239303. Have contacted CCPC. It's seems that the people who shout the loudest receive their refunds ie go on LIVELINE or VISIT THE SHOP.

Appalling customer service
Appalling customer service, ordered a bed over 2 months ago, bed hasn't arrived, multiple emails, multiple phone calls, feel like its a robot i'm talking to, they have no contact with their own accounts department, no contact with deliveries. Have initiated a refund now, I have absolutely no trust that I will actually receive my refund. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.

Yet another day and still no return deposit. They say phones lines are open from 6am yet another lie you just get answer phone and cut off. They answer your bad review promising a refund another lie. I think I will have to call into lifeline to highlight yet againn how bad this company is and putvit in the hads of our solicitor. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM RATHWOOD.

Why has this been removed - please publish. Still waiting on a refund for an order placed in April 2025. Have had a few replies to emails I've sent looking for bits of information to push things down the line and put off sending a refund. Have reported to the CCPC who i believe are investigating.
Dreadful company to deal with and amazed that they are still taking money from innocent people.

Manage expectations better
Garden furniture is very good quality for its price. They should just admit that some furniture will take 10-20 weeks to deliver as it’s coming from China. Manage expectations better. Kate was the only customer service person I dealt with who sorted the delivery.

Hi I purchased a chair for my sunroom
However I ordered the wrong one.
I send an email to the Customer services dept. Hoping I could replace it with the correct style.
I immediately received a response from Faye in customer service and over the course of a few further emails and with the wonderful help and assistance from Faye , I got sorted out.
Her comment to help me was incredibly. 100% to her high standard of service.
Don’t waste your time or money!
I have been waiting almost 5 months for my refund. I ordered two kids quads for Christmas on the 3rd of December. My order number was RW7849. It stated on the website that delivery was 7 days, when I received the invoice after payment it stated it would take over 20 days for delivery. I called and they told me that this was because it was coming from their UK warehouse. On the 9th of December I cancelled the order and was immediately issued an email stating order was cancelled but no refund since. I have called possibly 20 times and emailed multiple times. Every time I got through, I was told the issue was escalated to accounts and it was unacceptable. Mostly, I waited on the phone for over an hour and got cut off before I was answered.
I am awaiting a call back from the manager for some week now, and also accounts are not taking calls.
It is absolutely ridiculous and I have been waiting too long. I have taken this up with the CCPC and will go further.
If I could give no stars I would. Such a shame as the old Rathwood years ago was such a great place and reputable company.

Do not buy from this company! Terrible service
Absolutely raging at this company. Ordered a chair in Nov 2025 and was told delivery within 10 working days. Chair still didn't arrive for Christmas and I emailed the company only to be told item was unavailable and I would get a refund. It's almost May 2026 and I'm still waiting on my refund. Have called and emailed several times. Next step is to ring my bank and claim fraud and then call to the store to see if anyone has the manners to deal with me properly.

Awful customer "care" stay away
Edited to say thank you for reply after I had to get my own refund. This review will hopefully show others your "overselling" is still going on no matter how far back reviews go. I read your replies to others and gave you a chance bit deeply regretted it. Hope my warning serves at least one person.
Thankfully got my credit card chargeback as Rathwood would never get around to it. Awful customer service after first interaction was quick, told me the bed I ordered was oversold and cancelled order but was still waiting 2 wks later for refund. Didnt answer any of my next 3 emails. Disgraceful company shouldnt be operating taking money for furniture knowing it wont arrive.
